Chapter 27
“I should have just walked out of here.. I shouldn't have followed the criminals.....”.
Gerard directly hugged Raina's body that shook violently, “Stt... This is not your fault.” He tried to calm the girl.
“But..”.
“Listen to me.. It's not your fault ok? You don't know what's going on right now and now's not the time to look for who's wrong.. We need to stay calm and find a way out, do you understand?” gerard said as he looked directly at Raina's black eyes that were slowly starting to be able to control his emotions back, he nodded in response.
“Good Girl,” said Gerard while kissing Raina's lips and smiling to see the girl now blushing, “Remember, you were the first to kiss me earlier.” Raina widened her eyes, her cheeks getting redder and smiling in embarrassment.
“Good, now you can smile back,” whispered Gerard while looking at him gently.
“Can I borrow your tie clip again?” raina asked after she could think clearly again, this is not the time to panic, she should calm down and find a way to save her cousin. Gerard reached into the pocket of his suit and handed him a twisted tie clip, raina took it and walked and locked the door of the room.
“At least this will hinder them to catch us.” Gerard nodded in agreement, “What do we do now?” he continued while looking at Gerard who was thinking.
“We have to get out of here, Daniel is waiting for us below.”
They looked at each other with sparkling eyes when they heard the motorcade of police car sirens approaching, “Police has come!” Raina ran towards the window and in the darkness of the night she could see flickering police car lights starting to park in front of Simon Javier's residence.
“Do you think this can get to the bottom?” Gerard asked as he held the curtains covering the glass door of the room.
“You're right!” Excite Raina with sparkling eyes, “Help me open it!”
Gerard immediately pulled the cloth with all his might, once or twice the experiment failed and finally they pulled it together until it came apart and made a sound quite loud when the iron rodent resisting the curtain came apart, they stared at each other for a moment in their hearts praying that the criminals did not hear it.
“Come quickly!” Gerard cried as he opened the glass door leading to the balcony, he looked down in the shadow of the tree he could see Daniel was hiding, Daniel was hiding, Gerard gives a voice code that makes the twin brother come out of hiding.
“Gerard, put the cloth into the fence gap!” Raina's orders were to walk on Gerard's stripes while lifting the iron curtain.
“Why don't you let go?” Gerard's whisperer couldn't believe what the girl was doing.
“Trust me, quickly put the cloth in now! I'm sure one of them will check all the rooms.”
“Sial!” umpat Gerard while staring at the door, then following Raina's orders he made the curtain cloth into one and then put it into one of the fences, “The fabric is not up below!” he continued while looking down and he could see the curtain hanging in the middle of the wall.
Raina stuck her head out and saw how far it was from the ground, “No problem, we can jump,” Raina said confidently which made Gerard silent for a while.
“Ya... of course.. jump,” whispered Gerard who made Raina who was taking off her high heels staring at her while raising eyebrows.
“Don't tell me you're scared.”
“Ti-no... I am not afraid,” replied Gerard while stuttering that made Raina silent a moment ago and threw her shoes down where Daniel was waiting for them.
“Wait!” he cried while pulling Raina's shoulder back, then without warning he kissed the girl who is now wide-eyed in shock, “Be careful,” he said after releasing his kiss. Raina who had not recovered from her shock could only nod with a smile.
“Sial, Gerard you make me lose concentration,” said Raina using Indonesian while stepping over the fence, his hand holding the curtain cloth that has dangled down.
“No need to worry I will keep an eye on everything,” said Gerard as he looked around, and it seems he again misinterpreted the word pesky into see all again, but this time Raina did not want to bother to explain it, she began to wrap the curtain to her right leg and slowly began to go down.
His chest was beating violently, his hands were gripping the cloth very strongly, fortunately his rock climbing hobby had been a little bit much to make him master things like this, he said, maybe if his current condition is not in a dangerous condition he can relax down the balcony of this house without fear of someone will see and shoot him. Raina had now reached the end of the curtain and gazed down where Daniel had been waiting for him while stretching out his arms to catch him, he was swaying about 3 meters above the ground, he looked up where Gerard was watching him and looked anxious while looking back.
Raina closed her eyes tightly, took a deep breath, her legs began to let go of the twisting, she looked back at Daniel and nodded to signal that he was about to jump, with courage that suddenly appeared he jumped into the arms of Daniel who swiftly caught him.
“You all right?” daniel asked with a worried face and answered a nod by his cousin, they looked up and saw Gerard start to creep down, and then he started to crawl, and finally he jumped and landed by rolling on the ground and resulting in a fairly loud bang. Daniel and Raina help him stand up and then run behind the tree hoping that the dark shadow of the night can hide the three of them.
They could hear someone cursing because they knew a hostage had escaped, before long they heard a loudspeaker from the New York police who were asking the criminals to turn themselves in because they were surrounded. Daniel gave up Raina's high heel but the girl only took it, “I often see in the movies that this only inhibits it,” he said while lifting the red-strobed high heel with a grimace.
“I think now they will not dare to chase us considering the police have surrounded this place,” said Daniel while staring back at the tree checking the situation around.
This house has a large yard surrounded by a high wall fence he can see the red glow of the police car behind the wall, he said, some large trees such as red cedar are deliberately planted to create a shady environment, green grass covers a portion of that yard, he said, some plants that are planted and arranged by experts make the page look beautiful during the day.
“Baj*ngan is rich,” whispered when he saw the helipad next to the building separated from the main building complete with a heli parked there, he furrowed his eyebrows when he remembered something about the smaller building, seeing its shape Daniel guessed that it was the garage Kerelyn mentioned back then. And his guess was right when the door opened, when he suddenly looked up at the scene before him, Gerard and Raina who were curious about Daniel's change in expression turned their eyes towards the black-haired man, and instantly their faces were deathly pale.
They saw Alex coming out of the room at gunpoint on his back, his clothes looking messy, blood and dust spots dirtying his white shirt, his hair messy, he said, they could even see the blood flowing on his head as well as the tip of his lips.
“Yes Lord!” Raina covered her mouth with her palm, Daniel and Gerard cursing in silence, their anger now uncontrollably seeing their best friend like that, slowly they duck forward in the darkness approaching the throng of criminals where Alex becomes a hostage.
Now they are beside the garage hiding behind the wall, Daniel is at the front, Raina in the middle and Gerard at the back. Daniel peered to see the situation, his body trembling with anger, clenching his hands tightly to hold back his emotions when he saw one of them hit Alex's stomach again until he vomited blood. Alex melted the blood using the back of his hand casually, then looked at the man who hit him with a sharp look, his lips smiling in mock obliquely, mocking, the man raised his fist again but stopped when Simon Javier walked out of the room.
“Enough!” he exclaimed as he approached his men, his white stellan looked untarnished inversely proportional to Alex who looked messy. Simon approached Alex casually, he put his hand in his pants pocket, his eyes staring at those blue sharp eyes that were now staring at him with an angry look.
“You think you can fool me?” Asked with a mocking smile, “You should think again to do that. My men have cleared up all your police colleagues who entered this party without invitation.”.
“Baj*ngan, I'll kill you! Remember that I'll kill you!” Shouted Alex who immediately got a blow from the drug dealer. Simon wiped the hand he used to hit Alex with a handkerchief in his pocket.
“Now is not the time for you to be arrogant.. They will not dare to break through here,” Simon said casually while staring at the light of the police car siren lights, “You know why?” simon asked, “Because all the stupid important people in my house are now my hostages,” continued Simon arrogantly, “I will kill them one by one, I will kill them one by one, if they don't want to grant my request, including your beautiful lover.”.
“BAJ*NGAN!!” Alex managed to hit Simon, then beat him mercilessly, but Simon's men who look shocked because of the sudden attack of the NYPD detective immediately pulled him, Alex berated, Alex said, he tried to fight back but he was outnumbered until he finally collapsed again and became their months.
“Enough!” exclaim Simon after he stood up and cleaned his stel, “Bring him inside, and bring his lover here then kill, let him see when his lover died.”
