The Secret Admiral (#2 The Secret Series)
Chapter 42

The man looked at Daniel and his partner who had been sitting in the chair opposite to them, who had been sitting, he could see the man Kerelyn loved smiling happily and it made him grip the steak knife so tightly that his knuckles turned white and wanted to stick it in the heart of the two.

“Poor Kerelyn, look how sad and hurt she is now,” whispered in heart after seeing the red-haired girl who was just downcast pretending to be serious with her salad. He looked back at Daniel's table, the woman with long black hair, and he could not see her face because she was sitting behind their table.

“Do you know that woman?”

Kerelyn shook her head to answer Matt's question.

“Is that her sister or maybe her cousin you were talking about back then?” harry Robert asked this time.

“I've met with his sister and cousin. His sister has brown hair while his cousin is black shoulder to shoulder. Damnit damnit! I can't see his face so I can't confirm it,” said Eddy who got the nod of the other two men.

“Do I need to go there to make sure?” eddy immediately got a sharp look from Kerelyn.

“No need, it just makes me look self-respectless,” said Kerelyn who made Eddy undo his intentions and then sit back.

They dissolve in silence trying to enjoy the rest of the dinner which now feels bland, until finally Matt breaks the silence, “Alright, it looks like the crew has come. Then, I go first.” He stood up but his eyes could not be seen Kerelyn,

“Darling, if you need my help to teach the man a lesson, I will gladly help you... Contact me ok?” he said with a smile to Kerelyn who just nodded while smiling weakly.

Eddy was just about to bribe his steak when he heard Kerelyn swearing, “Sial! What's he doing?” furious as Kerelyn stared at Matt walking past his crew's desk and toward Daniel's desk, he was seen chatting briefly with the man before returning to his shirt.

“Sir, I'm sorry but I can't be here any longer.. We should go now,” Kerelyn said with a clear face.

“Alright, you and Eddy wait outside, I'll pay this first.” Harry Robert said as he wiped his mouth and walked towards the cashier, the man also seemed to be curious about the woman Daniel was with from the cashier's table and he was seen watching the two and it made Kerelyn roll her eyeballs.

“Do you also wonder who that woman is?” kerelyn asked as she walked towards the exit with Eddy beside her.

“Can I see it?” eddy asked curiously to make Kerelyn look at him fiercely, “Alright,” Eddy said after seeing Kerelyn's reaction, “Didn't she ask me earlier, why is she the one who is angry?” eddy whispered to himself as he walked behind Kerelyn who was walking quickly.

Kerelyn stood in front of the fine restaurant waiting for Eddy and Harry Robert, her presence there attracting the attention of several passers-by, but not a single person dared to disturb her, they simply smiled or looked at him with adoring eyes.

Until finally Eddy and Harry came, Eddy whispered something to Kerelyn that made the woman smile widely, ”Is that true?” his tan with sparkling eyes looked at Eddy who also nodded with a wide smile.

“Alright, I'll go first.. Kerelyn rested quietly, no need to think about anything ok,” said Harry before getting into his car which had just come carried by the parking valet officer.

“Not to worry, I will take care of our James Bond girl,” Eddy said with a smile reassuring his boss. After the boss left, Eddy went to drive Kerelyn home, and as promised that night everyone rested in peace.

But not with one person still looking restless walking back and forth in that small house, the sound of his shoe steps echoed throughout the room, occasionally he would frown thinking, he said, but before long she was seen ruffling her hair looking desperate.

“No... no... I can't finish him like the others, Kerelyn will definitely be very sad,” he said while shaking his head, “I can't make him sadder,” he continued while continuing to walk back and forth and bite his fingernails.

He stopped to look at a picture of himself as a child with his mother who was gone. She stroked her mother's face gently, her beautiful mother with red hair like Kerelyn's but their fate was different. No one defended and protected his mother, he was too small at the time to do it all, even though he managed to kill her but it was too late for his mother to be saved. But now different, she is now more than capable of protecting Kerelyn, the woman who reminds her of her mother. He will get rid of anyone who hurts and harms the woman including the man he loves, will not his mother also die at the hands of the man he loves?

Well he has decided, he does not want to make the same mistake again, he does not want to be late again to save the woman he loves. He will finish off the man but in a different way, yes, it's time Kerelyn knew that all this time she had her self always there to guard and protect him. Kerelyn would be so happy to know that she would no longer feel frightened and lonely.

The man stood up with a big smile then as usual he walked towards the back door where the tulip garden was located, crouching down he stroked the white, red-spotted flowers, and the whistling of children's songs began to be heard carried away by the breeze of the cold night.
