Chapter 41

"For God's sake, Daniel, that's right! Do you think I'll accept your decision?"

Kerelyn looks angry after hearing Daniel's explanation which he thinks is absurd. He walked back and forth with his hands glazed over his waist, his chest up and down, his eyes giddy with anger but also looking sad.

"Kerelyn, this is the only way to save us both." Daniel tried to explain his decision but Kerelyn would not listen.

"No this is not the only way, we can find another, Daniel... Isn't Alex, Gerard and the police working to catch the criminal?"

Kerelyn finds out that a psychopath is willing to kill for her and that makes her feel guilty. But now Daniel instead informed the decision he had taken and asked him to agree to the unreasonable decision.

"Kerelyn.I'm sorry.I don't want to make this decision either, but there's no other way." Daniel said in a soft voice as he pulled his lover to sit down, his eyes looking into Kerelyn's already teary eyes.

"Until baj*ngan's caught, we can't do anything other than this. I'm sorry, but it's for both of us. I hope you can understand that... I promise everything's gonna be okay."

Daniel now hugged Kerelyn who started sobbing, of course it was hard for both of them but he had to do it, all this for the good of everyone.

A week had passed from the last time Kerelyn met Daniel and now she was really feeling down, all he did was lock himself up in the apartment and it made Eddy look desperate for not being able to bring the artist out of his hiding place.

“I'm sorry, Boss, he still doesn't want to go out.” Eddy closed his eyes while grumbling his teeth when he heard the scolding from Herry Robert, his boss and Kerelyn, “Alright I will try to persuade him back,” addy continued before closing his phone.

“Red, come on don't be like this. It's an important event don't you really want to get that role? You've got it and now you don't want to come to sign a contract just because you broke up with a guy.”

“Only a man?” growled Kerelyn in disbelief as she stared at her Manager, “Sial, Eddy! He's not just a man, he's Daniel Winchester, the man I love the most, have you forgotten!” Kerelyn exclaimed with her eyes radiating a wounded look as she looked at Eddy who was speechless sculpting.

“Alright, forgive me,” Eddy said after recovering from his shock at Kerelyn's overreaction, “But, honey, this is not the time for you to dissolve in your grief, now it's time to get up and move on with your life again. You have to prove to him that you're okay without him.”

“I'm not okay, Eddy!” exclaimed Kerelyn while soaking her tears that came out without being commanded, “How can I be fine without her who is always there for me,” he continued while sobbing blindly Eddy took a heavy breath.

“You have me, Red. I will always be there for you,” Eddy said seriously while staring at Kerelyn who was throwing her snot out using a tissue.

“Listen to me Kerelyn,” continued Eddy while holding Kerelyn's hand gently, “You are an amazing woman, you are so beautiful, smart and successful. Many men are in love with you, you don't need to find a replacement for Daniel now, but at least don't close your heart... open your heart and your eyes wide because there are still many good men on this earth, do not sacrifice your life just because you broke up, it was not the end of everything but the beginning of something new.” Eddy smiled at Kerelyn who was smiling even though she was weak.

“You're right.”

“I know,” said Eddy confidently making Kerelyn laugh.

“I'm glad you can laugh again.. So.... are we going now?” asked Eddy who made Kerelyn go straight back limp.

“Eddy, you want me to go there with eyes like this?”

“you can wear make up and.. sunglasses,” Eddy said with a smile made Kerelyn smile again and finally went to her room to get ready.

And this is where Kerelyn is currently, sitting at a table at an expensive New York City restaurant for dinner with her bosses, Harry Robert and Eddy, at the same time, celebrating the success of Kerelyn for getting a big role in a legendary film.

“You should know, Kerelyn, how I lobbied producers and directors to include you in auditions, until you finally passed. Yes, even though you are a talented artist,” said Harry, boss Kerelyn and Eddy.

“What a surprise, I didn't know I'd meet you here.”

The three of them were now staring at the voice where Matt was standing next to their table with a fluffy smile that made his fans scream hysterically.

“Matt, what are you doing here?” eddy asked with a smile looking at Matt who now pulled the chair available next to Harry Robert and sat there.

“I have an appointment for dinner with the staff of my new movie that just finished shooting yesterday, and I just wanted to say hello when I see you guys here too,” replied Matt who got the nod from the whole thing.

“Mr. Robert, how are you? It's been a long time since we've met. The last time we met was on a shooting that day, where I ended up in the hospital for a few days,” said Matt smilingly looking at a man known for his cold hands in producing top artists in the American film industry.

“You are right... are you okay now? I hope the injury doesn't have a long-term effect on you,” Harry Robert said as he looked at Matt, shaking his head.

“No, now that I have recovered as before,” replied Matt who immediately got a nod from Harry and Eddy while Kerelyn still looks to be in his own world.

“So the gossip is true?” he continued, staring at Kerelyn, who seemed to realize that everyone was staring at her.

“Gossip?” kerelyn pretended not to understand.

“If you and Daniel have broken up.” Matt looked at Kerelyn sympathetically before continuing, “Everybody was talking about the hot gossip, and it seemed.

Kerelyn looked at her co-worker while breathing heavily, “Didn't you have a dinner appointment? You'd better leave now,” Kerelyn said sarcastically but only made Matt laugh.

“Darling, how about you date me?” matt asked as he raised his eyebrows teasing Kerelyn who only smiled in response to Matt's joke, “We can make the man jealous and regret having left you, how?”

“Matt, not only Daniel will be jealous, but your lover will also be jealous,” Eddy said with a laugh.

“Ah... You are right, Ed,” said Matt while grimacing his jealous lover.

“You have a new lover?” kerelyn asked as she stared at Matt enthusiastically.

”Ckkk... You're too busy with Daniel that you don't know,” Matt replied as he looked at Kerelyn who was looking at him regretfully, “Ok, I'll let you know... Yes I have a new lover, I met him while playing sky in Vancouver and he is the owner of the resort where I stay,” continued Matt with shining eyes when telling that, “Name John, John, and He’s so hot!” matt's words succeeded in making Kerelyn and Eddy laugh while shaking their heads, in contrast to Harry's gaping disbelief realizing the reality about the man sitting next to him.

But Kerelyn's laughter suddenly stopped as her eyes looked at someone who had just entered the restaurant, making the others stare in that direction and instantly a curse sounded from their mouths, when he saw Daniel casually enter the restaurant with a woman, he did not realize that they were the attention of some people who were sitting at the corner table where Kerelyn was.
