Blind Love

The sky is showing a gray light when the storm is coming. The wind began to blow hard to make the dry leaves fly. A child seems to be alone, not concerned with the situation. In his hand was a book, but he did not read it. Just looking up at the sky waiting for God's answer to all his prayers.

"Leon, comein. It's raining, the storm is coming" Nita told Leon. He doesn't flinch at all. Let the dried leaves hit his face.

The sound of lightning began to strike hard. Nita immediately pulled Leon's hand to enter the house.

"Leon. If you're here, it's gonna rain and you're gonna get sick later?"

"Is the pain more painful than I've ever felt? If not, I can hold it." Leon said it in an ice-cold voice.

"Leon, what's wrong with you? Don't you usually act like this?" said Nita.

"I'm tired of pretending to be okay when I'm so hurt. I'm tired of pretending that this is my home when in reality I feel alien here. I'm tired of pretending that you're my mother in fact my mother doesn't know where she is."

"Leon!" nita Bentak.

"Why? Angry mom? I can be angry too. Where is Dad? Is she mad at Mom so she's out of here?"

Nita pulled her hair back.

"Your father is abroad" Nita said.

"Mom, are you sure he's overseas with no news at all? He never even called me or Mom" Leon said.

"I think you're looking for mom or you've found mom. But if they've met, why haven't they invited me?"

"Leon," call Nita mad.

"Why, Mom is angry? I wonder why Mom pretends to be happy and every night she is lonely. Mom pretends to laugh happily while sometimes Mom gets drunk and cries. Is Mom not tired?"

Nita was stunned to hear Leon's words. Everything Leon said was true.

"You, just a little boy. Don't know anything about this life." Nita is ashamed of herself because even a child can guess her feelings.

"I used to see my mother cry but she didn't drink, wine that could get her drunk, she never got out of control. Screaming and angry at everyone nearby. She was crying in silence. He never showed his difficulties to anyone and always smiled at everyone."

"Your mother and I are different Leon," exclaimed Nita exhausted her patience.

"indifferent. I love everyone sincerely if Mom, I don't feel Mom doing everything with a happy heart. Mom smiled widely if there were journalists or media approaching while after Mom was silent even like looking unhappy. Is what I said right."

"Raina's child is very .. very upsetting," Nita said sitting in a nearby chair. "But what you said is true" Nita murmured almost inaudibly.

"Mom finally realized that I was my mother's child not the child Mom always told everyone. I'm going to my room first. Waiting for news from Dad. I miss him so much" said Leon calmly.

Nita lowered her face, sighing deeply. He was very angry at Leon but he couldn't do it. However Leon is a direct descendant of the Quandt family if until he hurts it then the business will be long. He can be kicked out of this house and out of their lives.

Leon's right, he's fed up and tired of all this. He was tired of pretending to be a happy person while his heart felt lonely. He needs love, he wants to feel loved. Expecting Adry to love her again like it used to be is very difficult. The man even stayed away from her even though Raina was no longer among them. His adry is no longer what he used to be. Now her heart belongs to Raina and Nita is aware of it.

Nita rubbed her face rough. Walking towards the bar and about to pick up a bottle of wine when a familiar voice spoke to him.

"Did Leon's words not slap you in the face, Nita?'' Nita turned to the origin of the voice, then grinned widely.

"Finally you came out of your hiding place too."

Nita took the bottle and opened it. When he wanted to pour wine into the glass, Roy took it.

"Why do you survive if you're not happy."

"Don't interfere with my business. I've chosen my own way of life."

"The way of life is full of these falsehoods. You still don't realize what happened? While the child of Leon's age alone can see the truth. Damnit damnit! You're so stubborn" said Roy.

"Then aren't you more stubborn? You're still waiting for me to come back even if I ignore you for ten years and stay with your brother?" Nita snatches the bottle from Roy's hand and chugs it.

"Love is limitless Nita. If you're happy I'm willing but if you live like this, I want to take you away from all of your crazy ambitions."

For a moment Nita's eyes spread but she put away all feelings of wanting to be protected. He didn't want to wish his heart to a man other than Adry even though he wanted to feel championed by someone."

"Did you come just to say this? Or do you want to laugh at my life?"

"I pity to see you, to take care of a child who is not your son when you yourself throw away your own flesh and blood. Hoping to get love by getting rid of someone but getting only a pseudo-life. You feel victorious because Raina has left, but you are unhappy because the shadow is still around you. Haunt you so you can't live in peace and quiet."

"Roy, enough!"

"That's the truth, Nita, you got everything you wanted but you're not happy about it. Because you got all that at the expense of people. I'm your victim, our son and Raina..."

Nita's face was red instantly. His breath was hunting.

"Roy, get out of my house now." Roy touched his nose and laughed.

"Home? The house where you just hitchhiked sleeping here. All of this belongs to the Quandt family which means Leon has more right to live here than you. You must be aware of that. I'm here because I still love you and I hope you realize it all. Come back to me, Nita."

"Get out, Roy," cried Nita hysterically with wet eyes.

"At this time I'm out, if you come out of this place, go home to our old house. There I'll wait for you, go home."

Roy did go to Australia for a few months but after finding out that Adry started smelling strange things then he decided to return to his country.

Roy doesn't know why he loves Nita so much even though she dumped him and just took advantage of his love. Perhaps in her former birth, she hurt Nita until the present reincarnation she wanted to always protect her. Thought Roy.
