Sudden Attack

The next morning, Karina gets no message from her mother. His mother said there were several men in uniform who came and forced his mother to shut up and not talk about the case anymore. They threatened to kill Karina and her mother if the evidence her father had brought was given to the authorities.

Karina who heard that became panicked. Suddenly a sense of tightness filled his chest. He began to have difficulty breathing.

Roy started to worry because he didn't come out of the bathroom.

"Karina," called the man a third time but there was no answer at all. Roy threw away the blanket. He walked slowly to the bathroom.

"Karina are you still inside?" Call Roy again.

A soft thumping sound could be heard hitting the wall many times. Roy ran quickly to open the bathroom door.

Roy feels part of himself lost his life when he sees Karina lying face down while hitting the wall with one weak hand.

"Karina, Oh my God."

Roy immediately dropped himself near Karina. He held the woman and placed his hand on Karina's cheek.

"Bag," said Karina.

"What happened, your illness recurred?"

"Inhaler," Karina's voice grew smaller.

Roy was panicking. His mind was gone for a while. He left Karina alone on the floor and ran to the nearest doctor or nurse's room.

Roy saw a doctor walking around the corner. He then called the doctor.

"Doctor wait!" roy shouted holding onto his painful chest. The doctor stopped his steps and approached Roy.

"Good night Sir, shouldn't you run on te..," The doctor stopped his words because Roy cut in first.

"I need your help in my bathroom. Someone is suffering from shortness of breath now and should get help as soon as possible."

"Let's go there, now."

The doctor then called the other nurse to come to the room designated by Roy.

Roy could only lean against the wall while looking at Karina who had fainted.

Moments later the woman was already in the action room.

"You're lucky Miss Karina got help right away" said the doctor who was helping her.

Karina's breath was still wheezing, her lungs were not fully recovered but this was better than earlier. Karina never expected her illness to be this severe.

"When was the last time you saw an internal medicine doctor who specifically dealt with lung problems?" the doctor asked with a dirty face.

"I see my Doctor once a month" replied Karina.

"Is he a specialist?" the doctor insisted

"Not a regular general practitioner." The man took a pissed breath and shook his head.

"You need a lung doctor, you should know that!"

Karina knew she needed a Specialist but she ignored him. He thinks doctors generally can still overcome and control his asthma by taking the drugs given.

"Do you have a hospital in Jakarta as a place of reference?" ask Karina. The doctor seemed to think for a moment.

"I'll refer you to Doctor Frans at one of the major hospitals in Jakarta."

"We also have a specialist, I have contacted him and he suggested a number of drugs that might be consumed later. You can see him tomorrow."

The doctor began to explain the prescription medication he gave Karina before leaving the room.

"Doctor," called Karina when the doctor was about to open the door of the room.

"What?"

Karina took a long breath. He then confirmed the location of the hose and thanked him.

"Thank you to me for not coming back. Do you know how many young women like you die each year from asthma attacks?"

Karina shook her head.

"Don't be one of them." The doctor glanced at the monitor above Karina's head.

"You'll be here for some time Miss Karina. You'd better try to get some sleep" the doctor suggested.

Karina closed her eyes and felt her heart thump getting tighter, even though her breathing flow was too short. But at least it all works. Karina bis imagines the fate of a fish coming out of the water.

"Karina," called Roy who was already lying next to him. He woke the woman up. Karina started to open her eyes and was surprised then smiled in a second later.

"Karina I know you like to attract everyone's attention but not in this way. This is too much."

Karina hit Roy's arm and smiled.

"Aren't you supposed to be in your room?" tanya Karina raised the infusion hose in her mouth to be able to speak clearly.

"How can I sleep well if you're doing this yourself."

Karina really likes the attention of Roy who is not made up. He then shifted his body so that Roy could more freely lie down.

"How are you doing?" ask Roy.

"Better." Roy sighed at Karina's reply.

"You're making me worry about your situation" Roy said. Karina gently touched the man's jaw that had begun to be overgrown with fine hairs.

"Sorry" said Karina.

"What's going on?" ask Roy.

"I just slipped," lied Karina.

Roy narrowed his eyes as if searching for the truth from Karina's words.

"Maybe because the bathroom floor is slippery" continued Karina. Roy fused his eyebrows together. The way Karina spoke sounded nervous. However, he was unlikely to come after the woman with many questions as her condition was not stabilizing.

"You sneaking in here?" tanya Karina switched the conversation.

"Hmmm," said Roy short.

"They'll be looking for you and if they find out you're here then they'll kick you out of this room. If that happens don't tell me that I didn't warn you" Karina said.

The woman then looked at the wall clock. "It's two o'clock in the night" he said.

"Then go to sleep, believe me no one dares to drive me out of here. I'll accompany you. If necessary until you recover and can go back home."

"You sure?'' asked Karina in disbelief. Roy's condition is also not fine he is worried that this will make the man's health unstable.

"I'll be fine" said Roy, who knew what Karina's gaze meant. The woman smiled then hugged Roy's arm and tried to close his eyes.

"Do you experience this often?" ask Roy. Karina opened her eyes again.

"It's not usually this bad, though," Karina said staring at the shady netra Roy. The man rubbed Karina's head.

"If there's anything tell me. I will help you" he said. Karina was surprised to hear Roy.

He hesitated to say everything.

"Didn't you trust me?" ask Roy again. The man was very good at guessing someone's feelings and knew that Karina was hiding something.

"I ... I. just don't want to add to your problems" Karina said.
