The Final Day Plan

The days passed by Nita with pain that always hit him he tried to make the sense that friends who did not leave him, medicine is a friend who always accompany him every day.

Like tonight Nita groans in pain. His face paled with cold sweat coming out from his body. He looks like he's squeezing his stomach so hard. Roy was very worried. It had been a few days that he had seen Nita's state like that but he couldn't persuade her to go to the hospital.

"For what? In the end the pain will only kill me slowly because there will never be a cure, this just holds it back from the excess pain.

"Can we do a series of treatments?" roy held Nita's hands in hope.

"No, the treatment will only prolong my suffering and make me look ugly and weak. I don't want to. Let this be as it is. I was ready to be called the Powerful One," said Nita looking down. He was desperate and had no spirit to live.

"Let's...."

"Fight, for yourself, but I need you too" Roy said encouragingly. Nita smiled faintly and sighed.

"No Roy, don't pity me."

"You know I loved you a long time ago."

"You're just obsessed with me. Find another woman who can make you happy. I'm not going to be selfish anymore" the woman threw her face the other way not easily saying it when she felt she needed Roy to be next to her.

"If so, let me accompany you until the last moment of your life" Roy said. Nita looked at him with a hard expression to understand. His eyes looked teary but he did not say anything.

"It's not you who decides whether it's worth it or not, I want it. Was my wait worth nothing to you? Have you never seen my love? Did the last day of your life not allow me to be close to you? Why is it because you hate me so much or I still don't deserve to be by your side? I beg Nita for just this once do not torture me again with this taste," said Roy.

"You're a fool for loving me" Nita said, wiping away the tears that escaped when she heard Roy speak. He felt overwhelmed, sad and happy. He doesn't feel alone.

"Tell me like that but only you've been close to me until now."

"Please give me one last chance" Roy said.

Nita then scattered herself in Roy's arms. "You know I'm so scared to die in loneliness and solitude. No one will accompany me until I die and no one will feel like I'm missing."

"There I am, we're going through this together." Roy rubbed Nita's long hair.

"Do you not want to do treatment so that you can recover completely and can live normally again."

"Would you if there were 46600 cases of cervical cancer and 21 thousand more among died in Indonesia. Another 5 people die each day from this disease. If I'm one of those things I want to get through it happily before that day comes."

Roy opens his mouth in disbelief at Nita's wishes. The woman did not want to seek treatment but chose to find a way to get through the day happily. As if ready for his own death.
