Refusal

"Leave it. Let this be a lesson for him, Raina," exclaimed Carl.

"Dad never taught you to commit violence. To your mother alone, I never did this. It was the act of a coward who hurt a woman's physique and feelings. You know why, you feel like you're failing to make him understand what you want so you force your desire on him. Use your heart and talk well instead of playing physically!" snapped Carl with a flushed face.

He doesn't like it if Leon hates this family just because of the behavior of his wife and child. That child is the future of this family, it cannot be underestimated. It would be a deep trauma for him.

"Now take them back to their old apartment. Let them live quietly for a while. No one makes trouble again. Whoever it is, if I knew, I'd throw you out of here."

Raina could smile calmly while Janeta was holding back her anger, she lowered her face so as not to be seen by Carl. Nita herself grumbled, she thought everything would happen as she thought. In fact, the father-in-law defended Raina.

Adry finally escorts Raina and Leon back to their apartment. No one spoke in the car. Leon and Raina sat in the back hugging each other. Adry occasionally glances through the rearview mirror but Raina immediately turns her face away.

They get to the front of the apartment unit. Raina and Leon just go inside. They ignored Adry who had delivered them.

"I asked for my Passport and Leon's" Raina said suddenly.

"You guys?"

"I want to put an end to all this and go back to our old lives." Adry was about to say something but Leon immediately stood in front of his mother to become a shield.

"I.." Adry did not continue his words. He took a long breath.

"I'll go home with or without your consent!" raina.

"I'll take you. However, I have a condition, you guys should stay in the house I prepared!" adry. Leon and Raina looked at each other.

"All right! It's just that soon we want to go back there," Raina said and asked Leon to leave the place.

Adry just stood looking at the departure of the two of them. After not being seen again, Adry turned her body and came out of the house. He went to his office with mixed feelings into one.

It's hard to lose our loved ones but he can't make them both understand if he needs them the most. She's wrong here but she did it because Raina fished her emotions out. Everything had happened and that sense of regret remained lodged in the chest.

Every day Adry comes to see Raina and Leon. Bring them food or whatever. Trying to get closer to them. But it all feels in vain. Leon remained indifferent to her not even wanting to see her face.

While Raina was still being nice, only she became cold and not many words were thrown from her lips.

"Raina please give me another chance to start over."

"I'm sorry, I can't, you know for yourself if I ever said I'd leave if you hurt me."

"Raina, I know I'm wrong just that I can't be without you guys?"

"Without me or without Leon?" raina asked in disbelief. He knew Adry only needed Leon instead of him.

"You two. You're my life and Leon's my future" Adry said.

"Then, who am I in your parents' eyes? If you had to choose me or Leon who would you choose?" ask Raina.

"You can't answer, go. I don't need a man like you" Raina said, turning her back to leave. However, Adry hugged Raina's body from behind.

"Love ..I don't believe in love or men anymore" Raina said.

Adry smelled the scent of Raina's hair that she missed.

"Take me off, Adry!" raina. However, the love remains in Raina but her disappointment becomes a shield of their togetherness.

"Raina I know you still love me" Adry said.

"It's not that easy to put the broken glass back together. Don't push me or you'll never find me again" Raina threatened to make Adry retreat.

"Don't say goodbye" she said. "I can't hear it."

"If so let us live quietly. Tell me when are you gonna take us back to Indonesia?" ask Raina.

"Two days," said Adry.

"It's good I'll be ready then." Raina walks away from Adry but the man's hand grabs her hand and pulls Raina's body into her arms.

"One kiss before I go home" said Adry. He swallows his Saliva waiting for Raina's approval. It had been three hours that he waited for Leon to come out but the boy chose to be in his room. Raina herself left him in her own living room until just ten minutes ago the woman came to offer him a cold dinner.

Adry rubbed his cheek against Raina's cheek so that the fine hairs on Adry's face swiped her soft skin.

Raina missed this guy too. If he said he might want to live with Adry and Leon. Together and in simplicity.

The man's warm lips began to touch his. Suddenly Adry's slap makes Raina open her eyes again and rewind her face.

"I can't, my wounds are too deep to forget everything" he said, leaving Adry alone in the room. The man finally gave up and returned to his parents' house.

With a gontai step Adry entered the house from the main door and walked through the spacious and dark living room.

The sound of claps rang out and the lights instantly lit up, his father was sitting on a large chair staring at him sharply.

"You haven't been able to bring my granddaughter and daughter-in-law back yet?" carl asked firmly and authoritatively.

Adry looked at his father and sighed. He shook his head.

"Was it that long for an Adry Carl Quandt to conquer the heart of a woman? You look like you just lost a war, son?" ejek Father.

Adry remained silent. He then sat on one of the chairs and put his hands together and both elbows resting on his thighs.

"If just an ordinary woman would probably be easy, just give her money or luxury items they would definitely smile again at you. Raina is different. She's not the woman who's interested in it. She's a free woman who likes her freedom but still cultured and holds firm to her beliefs."

"If he is special it will be difficult to get and it will take more time and energy to be able to have his heart. However, unfortunately you have deformed your diamond so that it does not sparkle anymore. You should be able to make his heart happy with sincerity and attention not with speech let alone gifts. So that the light may re-enter his gloomy heart because of your foolishness."

While above Janeta looked at her husband with her son with a feeling of anger. He had already thought of a plan to trap Raina into parting forever from Leon and Adry.
