Intoxicating

Raina was having breakfast with Leon when she heard the apartment door knock. Raina stopped eating and walked to the main door.

He started to open it and there was Roy who was carrying a paper bag.

"Good morning!" greet Roy.

"You seem more excited than you were yesterday" Roy said.

"Yes, I heard the good news that Adry was going to take me to meet his parents."

"Good, just be careful" Roy advised.

"Of course."

"Within a little you can lose it all."

"You mean?"

"You don't know Adry's family yet" said Roy, wiping his black curls back. Roy is a French man but has an Indonesian mother. At first he was chosen as Adry's assistant because he mastered Indonesian so that it was easier for his boss when meeting with clients from that country. In addition, the closeness of young Adry with Nita makes Adry's desire to learn the language even higher.

"I don't know him or his character yet."

"Learn to be perfect, for they son-in-law is a woman worthy of Adry. Status, good names and possessions were the things they came first. They don't like Nita just because she doesn't have children but if you see you I'm sure, you won't be considered." Roy looked at Raina from the bottom up.

Raina shut her mouth.

"Master and Madam must have known where you and Leon were, just waiting for how Adry determined the attitude. Prepare yourself and wait until that time comes!"

"Aren't you kidding me?" ask Raina.

"When have I ever joked, does my face look like someone is joking?"

"No! But can I trust you?" raina.

"Not completely, because I'm just a subordinate. However, I can help you get away from Adry!"

"Do you have a purpose of your own? Why do you want me so badly out of Adry's life?"

"Every human being has a purpose and I'm not saying you should leave Adry's life, just that if you're desperate I can help you."

"You are a mysterious man" said Raina.

Roy just smiled a little smirk and was barely visible. "I'm mysterious and your husband is more mysterious than I am. You won't even be able to read what he wants and what he's going to do in the future. Wellcome to the jungle."

"Good, let's see how tough you are. Just don't expect Adry too much if you don't want to be disappointed."

"It's noon I have to go to the office if not Mr. Boss is angry," said Roy looking at the clock in his hand.

"Sir" called Roy to the dreamy Adry when they were meeting and one of the meeting participants was asking him.

"Sir," call Roy while touching Adry's body. Adry then nodded for a moment. All the participants of the meeting stared at him.

"Mr Anderson is asking about the issue of promotion of our latest sedan will be imposed when?" ask Roy.

"Oh, when? later I will see the right schedule," replied Adry origin.

"Mr Adryan Quant we have to have a target" said the marketing manager.

"I determine it and I will think carefully first. The meeting is over" said Adry left the meeting room when the problems they discussed were not yet finished.

Adry then walked away without heeding the crasaks that occurred in the room. Adry then slammed the door of his room to surprise Roy. He opened the door and entered the room.

Roy saw Adry sitting relaxed on a long sofa chair sticking out his legs and his head on the back of the chair facing the ceiling.

"I thought having a child was a miracle but it wasn't that easy to get even if I wanted to. If I was single it would be easier to live with Raina but I already have a loyal wife and I can't just leave her because there are new people coming into our lives, is that fair to Nita?'' adry asked with empty eyes.

"Is it because you're not focused on work?" tanya Roy goes to the glass cabinet and picks up Adry's favorite liquor. He poured it in a sloki and handed it to Adry.

"How can I focus if Nita and Raina's shadows change." Adry then sat up straight to receive the drink and downed it. (Okay othornya g ngajarin drink but if read to completion you will know what will happen next.)

Roy was silent and did not respond to Adry's remarks. Adry looked at him.

"Tell me what am I gonna do?"

"Make all the problems to your parents. They are wise people in making decisions. For example, they don't really like young Madam but they don't forbid you from marrying her. They are not involved in your relationship either. It's just that you're gonna have to give up offspring."

"Well, that's what I was thinking. I already have Leon as my descendant, so it's not important Raina is pregnant with my son or not. We already have a child." Adry's face involuntarily expressed happiness.

"You're right about heredity we don't need to think about it just whether the Master and Madam are willing to accept Raina?"

"That's what made me doubt. However, I'm sure if I can make them understand."

Roy nodded his head. He then poured another drink into Adry's glass.

"Are you gonna get me drunk?"

"It's not just that you will usually swallow it when you feel bad," said Roy. Adry breathed. She recalled Raina who threw away all the liquor she saw.

"Pick me or that drink, whichever is more intoxicating. If you choose that, get out of this house because I don't like any drunkards near Leon, it'll have a bad effect on him!"
