Salt for Sowing Wounds

Roy stared blankly ahead. His legs felt heavy to step back in this house. Adry and Raina force Roy back to their home in Berlin. They can't see it for themselves.

Carl who did not come to pick up Roy welcomes him. He hugged Roy's body and patted his back. The hearts of parents who do not hurt see their children always fall limped in front of him.

Roy was speechless but the clear crystal falling from the corner of his eyes described how devastated he was at the moment.

Carl stretches out his arms and holds Roy's face with both hands. "You can get through all this."

Roy shook his head and hugged his father. Right now all he needed was a place to lean on not just words.

"We're always there for you" Carl said.

Roy wiped his tears. In the shadow of the fog she saw Janeta at the door staring at her. The woman sat in a wheelchair, looking thin and weak. Not like the haughty and arrogant Janeta he knew. Yes, he did not want to see or hear the situation of the woman again since the shooting. However, now he has to deal with the woman again who might douse salt in his wound again.

"Sorry, I can't stand by you at the moment."

"I know that you have to wait for Mom and Leon" said Roy.

Carl smiled wryly.

"You'd better take a break after a long trip."

Carl then invites Roy in while Raina looks at the two men with teary eyes.

"When will Roy be happy? Just now he found his life and then viciously God took that happiness." He looked at Adry and hugged her.

Adry breathed heavily. His heart also felt the pain that Roy felt. His sister did not say anything but she was seen crying in silence. He was devastated and Adry knew it.

Janeta wants to say something but is held back when she sees Roy just passing by without looking at her.

Raina and Adry walked towards him. Raina stopped while Adry walked away. The most torturous thing is when the child is angry to say nothing. Just shut up.

"Mom, are you okay?" tanya Raina pushes Janeta's wheelchair into the house.

"What's going on?" ask Janeta. Right now it was only Raina that he could question. Other than her daughter-in-law, no one told her anything.

Raina takes Janeta to a relaxing room. He's sitting there.

"Roy's just been married not a month."

"Yes, your father-in-law told me. I'm glad to hear that. If he's married then where's his wife."

Raina's eyes spread. He wiped the corner of his eyes that were starting to get wet again.

"She. she..," Raina's lips trembled unable to tell what was happening. Raina.

"Karina was shot while taking valuable evidence stating that her father was not entirely at fault in the case that entangled their family" Adry suddenly cut.

Janet opened her mouth wide.

"Kari-na who.., "Janeta could not continue his words.

Janeta didn't say anything she turned her wheelchair around to go to the room. He heard Adry's words in the distance.

"You see he looks normal with Roy's condition. Why do you sympathize with him."

Janeta stopped, taking a deep breath in resuming her wheelchair path.

Roy just kept himself locked up in his room. Not touching the food at all and not saying a single word. No one could persuade him to go back to life.

He looked at her far ahead. Sitting in the window while staring at the sky with a blank look.

He heard the sound of his door opening. Roy did not turn his head and did not care who came to the room. They will say the same thing every day. About life and about eating and drinking. Things he began to ignore. He even wanted to die soon but God still wanted him alive to torment him. At least that's how Roy feels. He no longer believes in God. Especially hell because all this time he lived like hell.

He sighed. Even oxygen seemed reluctant to enter his lungs. Her chest often felt tight from enduring all this sadness. Why is his fate always beset by suffering?

"Roy," calls Janeta, which makes Roy flinch.

What's that woman here for? Is it to mock him or kill him a second time? Inner Roy. The man looked up and smiled mockingly.

"What do you want to come here? You'd be happy to see me suffer" Roy came down from the window and walked up to Janeta in a wheelchair.

"I just want to say that I'm saddened by Karina's death."

Roy laughed loudly as he turned his face upwards like a madman. He then lowered his head in front of Janeta's face and pointed at the woman with his finger.

"Don't make a show in front of me because I've known your real face from a long time ago. Just tell me what you want. You know if I'm tired of all this and you don't provoke any more trouble!"

Janeta smiled thinly. He knew for sure Roy would say this. All is not wrong after what he did to everyone in this family. Right now, he only thinks one. He wanted to die with a beautiful memory. He did not want to die by getting all the blasphemy. He wants to end it all well.

"You must be so disappointed that you might even hate me too much. It was natural after what I did. Even my son Adry to this day would not accept me well. I realize I deserve all the hate from you. I don't care about that."

Roy tilted his head and looked at Janeta cynically and mockingly.

Janeta took a breath before continuing her words.

"You know that a mother's instincts are to give her best to her child. So did I. I don't like to share everything with the daughter of a mistress. Not after what your father and mother did to me."

"I'm trying to protect what's my son's thing because my right to accept Carl's love was taken away by your mother so I don't want Adry's thing taken away by you either."

"I don't even think taking anything from Quandt isn't a dime."

"You may not but your father probably will." Roy looked at Janeta who seemed calm when he said everything.

Five days to think about where this story is going. So same holiday up a little. Last night had a new epiphany.

What would you help g? At that time Roy would have a tattoo, what tattoo, tiger or dragon (I forgot which one) ? You see, I like to wear those two tattoos in my novel story, it's related to Roy's story going forward.
