"Silver..," Ayu's voice trembled, looking back at the room booth made of triplex.
Roy immediately caught no irregularities there. He quickly moved towards the room, revealing a cartoon-style curtain.
His feet were limp as he watched Bagas' small body curl up on a wooden cot with a bed of thin cotton mattresses. More precisely the floor mattress that is used as a sleeping mattress.
Roy then approached Bagas and examined him. Her body is hot, Roy.
"When did he get sick?"
"Sister complained overnight that his back hurt. Mother had sorted it and gave Sister pain medication. But the next morning our hot brother didn't go to school because mom told me to wait for Brother at home."
"Where is your mother?"
"Mom is selling."
"How could he leave his sick son" said Roy annoyed and furious.
Ayu was silent just sobbing.
"Om dashing," said Good when opening his eyes when he heard a noise.
"What do you feel?"
"I'm fine just a little sore on my back."
"Bad child!" said Roy. Bagas could still smile under such circumstances.
"Let's see which part hurts."
Bagas then leaned over, telling him where the sick part of his body was. Roy checked. Sure enough there was a purplish bruise on the child's shoulder.
"You must have been hit by a hard object when it fell yesterday, so it's bruised like this. The heat is triggered by the pain in this section. We're going to the hospital so you can get good treatment."
"But Om, I don't have any money for medical treatment" Ayu said with a look that looked lovely.
"Did I say your mother has to pay for the treatment, didn't I? Come with me or do you want to be waiting at home?"
"I'm coming with Om. I said I had to wait for Brother."
Roy was about to lift Bagas' body but Bagas instead retreated.
Roy immediately carried Bagas out of the house, taking him to a car parked 50 meters from the rented house. He immediately took Bagas to the nearest hospital.
"Where are you going? Will your mother be looking?" ask a man who was talked to by Roy.
Hearing the question thrown at him, Ayu then looked at Roy.
"I'm going to take the pain to the doctor. Please tell his mother if it's good that I take him away with Ayu, he doesn't have to worry or worry."
"Tell me, please."
"Thank you in advance Mr. Paryo," said Ayu.
"Good to get well soon, yeah."
Roy drives while biting his own hand while occasionally turning towards Bagas. He had a dream that the children called him. They may be in need of it from last night while she falls asleep in a comfortable place. Guilt rippled in his chest. However, it is likely that the children were not her real children making another pain. He hoped his instincts were right.
They finally arrived at the nearest hospital. It is good to get treatment from the hospital.
The doctor then came out after checking on Bagas. Roy is approaching.
"How's the kid doing, Doctor?" ask Roy.
"You're his parents?" back the Doctor.
"I" Roy doesn't know what to answer.
"He's not a stranger who helps my sister" Ayu said.
"A stranger" Roy repeated inwardly. Why did it feel like he didn't accept being said to be a stranger by that child?
"Where are their mothers and fathers?" ask the doctor to Roy.
"Okey, I get it. I was thinking that patient, your son Sir because your faces look alike."
'really similar?'
"Maybe it was just a coincidence because I wasn't married and just met them yesterday." Roy looked towards Ayu. The boy clenched his lips and nodded.
"How is the Doctor doing?" ask Roy again.
"He was only slightly injured in the shoulder but we have put an elastic bandage to make him feel a bit better. We also provide pain relief and heat reduction. It seems like the child is also starving but there is a nurse feeding him. He's having symptoms of typhoid probably because he's late eating."
'If they are right my son then I am a bad father who lets his son starve.'
"From now on I will make sure they will be full and full of nutrients every day" Roy said. "Are we allowed to take him home now Doctor or is there any need to do something else?"
"So far you can't take him home. It's a prescription drug you can redeem at the pharmacy."
"Thank you for the help, Doctor."
"Together."
Roy then went into the treatment room to see the good state.
"Look at your father has come" said the nurse.
"He's not my father" said Bagas weakly and lowered his head. Roy could only smile stiffly in response while sighing looking at Good. That kind word felt smashed his way to the deepest end of the world.
"I'll take the medicine first and then we'll go back to your homes."
After finishing the administration and taking Roy's medicine, he took Bagus and Ayu home.
In the middle of the road they stopped at a restaurant. Roy asks them to come down but Good refuses he asks to be taken home only. Finally, Roy ordered five boxes of food just in case the two children would eat more.
Then they stopped at a small shop.
"Who wants to come down."
"I want to come along" said Good. "I never shop in a supermarket."
"I'm coming too."
Then they went in together.
Roy took all the small meals, milk, bread and biscuits for the children until the shopping he brought was two baskets full. Bagas and Ayu looked flabbergasted and laughed widely.
"That's a lot, Om. Om it's so rich you can buy anything.''
" But it can't buy laughter like you have," said Roy.
'If there are clothes and shoes for sure I will also buy them for you.' Roy looked at the boy's appearance. Even though their clothes are dull but still look neat. At least their mother still has time to take care of her children's clothes. Unlike their appearance yesterday which was dirty and messy. Maybe they're wearing that shirt to look for junk.
They finally reached the alley. Apparently, there was the sound of people screaming.
"You said you wanted to pay today but what? You only pay half. If you can't pay for it then you'd better just get out of here because there's gonna be someone to replace you."
"Here, I paid half that means I have the intention to pay it. I have no intention of not running away from my obligations."
"Then pay in full."
"You know that only hepeng my money is no more. You don't be cruel being a woman. Give me two more days I'll definitely pay off this month's pay. I do like the old pay but I always pay never overdue!" answer a woman.
"Well then two more days if you don't take your kids and stuff out of this house."
"Our son is like a brother, don't be cruel to me."
"if money matters no brother terms understand! I'll go home first. Remember tomorrow you have to pay."
"The day after!" The woman who collected the rent money then left the place. He meets Roy and the kids.
"Where is this the father of the children? How handsome, you deserve to fall in his arms?"
Hana who was carrying a white bucket immediately dropped it when she saw Roy.
