Leon himself was more moody in his room reluctant to come out and smile. There were actually many hopes that he wanted to pick up but broke prematurely.
Raina understands Leon's mental state. She is in a zone of heartbreak seeing her father trust her family more than they just met. He understands Adry's situation, he is basically as good as a parent like Leon but he is only used by his parents.
Nita who looks good, even make the problem more runyam. He should be able to explain everything well instead of pouring oil on a burning fire.
Raina hugged Leon from behind who was sitting daydreaming at the window. The boy looked over and looked at his mother.
"You look sad for a few days" Raina said, sitting in front of Leon. The wind blew on his face and his long hair.
"I just miss my hometown. They are sometimes insulting but there is no pretense in their attitude. Unlike Grandma who looks good but turns out she ...," Leon is silent not forward to the conversation.
“Just because someone smiles at you doesn't mean he likes you. Do not believe too much, do not love too much, do not expect too much, because too much will hurt so much anyway.”
Leon hugged his mother and cried. I dream too much of having a perfect family like my friends. Having grandparents who love me, Dad who accompanies me to play and ...," Leon stops his words. "Protect us."
"You know you miss him?" ask Raina. Leon did not reply but his hardened sobs signified that he did miss his father.
"Don't blame those who let you down, in fact you're the ones who put yourself up for disappointment."
"I mean Mom" Leon said.
"We are too easy to believe that all the dreams are too easy to achieve, we believe everything because we never think negatively of someone. In fact, the world is not that beautiful, there are many things that people keep secret in their hearts. They also want to achieve what we will achieve so that they can try to bring us down. Here we are wrong for not being aware of the circumstances."
"Are they all bad, Mom?"
"Not all dear, it's just that we don't know which is sincere and which is not?"
"Is Om Adry a bad father Mom?" ask Leon.
"He's a bad father who's been leaving you all this time?" raina said annoyedly clenching her hands.
"He doesn't know if I exist, if he knows for sure he'll always be by my side."
"Then he's a selfish father, always attach importance to his own wishes" Raina said.
"He just wants what's best for us, Dad even asked me to find the best school I want. He didn't force me" Leon said.
"Then he's a selfish father because .. ," Raina forgot what to say. "Not to play."
"No, if dad comes home from work he always accompanies me to play," Leon's voice rattled, his eyes even glazed over.
Leon hugged Raina's waist put his head on the woman's chest. Shedding tears.
Without them realizing that Adry who accidentally came home from the office quickly stood up to hear the talk of the mother and child. She wiped her tears and smiled. His son did not hate him. He just feels disappointed. It was true what his father had said if he made the hope of the mother and son perish by one rude act that he had unknowingly committed but was fatal.
"Mom knows you miss your father" Raina said. Leon did not answer him but his increasingly close embrace answered all of them.
"Did Mom hate Om Adry?" ask Leon.
"He's your father, you shouldn't call him that. Your father misses you too, son. Look, every time he comes home from work, he's waiting for you to come downstairs to just want to see this handsome face of yours." Raina held onto Leon's chin and moved it right and left.
"But he hit Mom."
"Mom never taught you to be rude to old people" Raina nosedived Leon.
"Didn't Mom get angry or hate her after what you did to me."
"How can I hate him, he's your father, the man who made you exist. He's also mother's husband." Raina then looked at the sky and looked far ahead.
"Mother than that I know why your father did it."
"Why Ma'am?" ask Leon.
"Because I don't know what really happened. She knew that mom scolded your grandma and your grandma was dad's mom. Dad's just like you who don't want his mom to be hurt even if it's his own wife."
"But what's wrong Grandma, Mom?" the Leon debate did not take.
"You don't know about adults yet, they're complicated. The point is I don't know what's going on. You can't judge him like that either. She's so sad that you're upset."
Leon nodded his head.
"Tomorrow we will return to our country" Raina said. Leon stared at Raina's dark eyeballs.
"Is it just the two of us?" ask Leon. He wished his father had left everything behind and come with them.
"So, I don't know either." Leon again rubbed his eyes that were getting wet again.
"Hey, he said you want to go back to our country" Raina smiled. He knows that if Leon is like him, he wants Adry to come with them and live together, but it's just a dream. In fact, he definitely prefers his parents and his old wife.
"It's almost evening. Come on, help me make some food for dinner," Raina asked. Leon nodded his head then came down from the window sill and closed it.
They begin to descend downwards and are surprised to see Adry already there with an appron on the body. The dining table looks neatly arranged with various kinds of food on it. Adry was lighting a candle on his silver container. The blossoming white rose bouquets are also in the center of the table on top of the vase.
Leon opened his mouth wide. He stared at his mother who was raising both eyebrows up.
Adry who realized the arrival of his son and wife then looked towards the stairs. He wiped his hand on the appron. Then put on a big smile.
"I wanted to cook you guys some food but was afraid to mess it up so I ordered it." His eyes then searched here and there like they were looking for something. He then walked towards the middle room chair and took out a bunch of white orchid flowers. He walked over to Raina and Leon.
"I guess I want to make some good memories for us before you guys get out of here" Adry's chest feels tight and painful. "If you're willing I'd like to serve you tonight as my apology."
