Withstand Feelings

Raina is about to turn on her motorbike starter to pick Leon up at school. However, a car stopped on the side of his front road making him turn off the engine again. Raina got off the bike.

Leon gets off the back of the car and is followed by Nita and Ardi. The boy ran straight towards Raina.

Another car stopped behind him and Roy and a woman dressed in formal clothes got off the vehicle picking up a variety of beautifully decorated parcels.

"Mom, I just met this Om and Aunt in front of the school" cried Leon happy. Raina rubbed Leon's hair and smiled. He turned his gaze towards Adry and Nita as if saying what is this?

Nita comes to meet Raina and kisses her cheeks. "We came to propose to you" she half-whispered making Raina's eyes widen to look at Adry.

"It doesn't really need to be like this" Raina said, uniting her eyebrows unhappily.

"We're talking inside" Nita said.

They entered the house and sat in the guest chair. Roy and manager Nita sat standing behind her employer after putting down the various gifts.

"Leon, you change clothes first" Raina told her son.

"I'll make you drink" said Raina.

"Let Angel and Roy do it" Adry said quickly.

Angel pulled her eyebrows up and looked at Roy. But he can what if the already talked Chairman of a large company. The woman just took a long breath. It's the job of an assistant or a waiter not a big manager like him.

"Well, where's the kitchen?" angel asked with a pull to her two lips forming a forced smile knot.

"You just go in and walk straight and there's a door that leads to the kitchen."

"Okey," said Angel and walked into the kitchen.

Raina then sat back to face Nita and Adry.

"What is this and why should it be carried like this?" ask Raina.

"Didn't you want to get married first? That's why I brought some parcels for the proposal before the wedding."

Nita gave a heavy sigh staring at her husband. "Nobody would want her husband to marry again, even if it was for a charade!" revealed.

"I know therefore I only want formalities, not real, not wanting these things even in my mind. I don't want to take advantage of your problems" said Raina.

Nita laughed a little. "I love your outspoken attitude. It made me believe I'd loan my husband out for a while." Nita raised two middle and index fingers and moved at the same time.

"I only use that as a shield from the gossip of outsiders not in the sense that I want your husband" Raina said firmly.

"I understand."

"You talk about me like there's no me" Adry said, folding her hands to her stomach. As usual one man's legs were superimposed on the other and his back was upright leaning on the back of the chair.

"Sorry dear, we only talk about this from heart to heart" said Nita softly as she placed her hand on her husband's thigh it was seen by Raina. He realized that they were a perfect and complementary couple.

"For that we gave you some papers of agreement for you to sign before." Nita reached out to Roy who had taken some files from the man's briefcase. The letters were taken by Nita and handed over to Raina.

"You read first the contents of the agreement" said Nita.

Raina started reading them one by one.

"The way it does is the surrogate mother is impregnated through artificial insemination with ***** male partner. While pregnant, the wife's egg and****** husband undergoes in vitro fertilization, and the resulting embryo can be implanted in the surrogate mother. Usually in the procedure, the surrogate mother will give all rights to the original parent."

"Here it becomes something that holds up in my heart, what it would feel like if that moment happened. Months and months the boy inside me suddenly you just take him away" Raina said.

"However, what can I do? I had to give up one child for the safety of the other," she continued, making Adry look at her with a difficult expression to understand.

"I know, I also have to give up my husband so that I can have offspring" Nita continued in an objectionable tone.

Adry held Nita's hand and looked at her affectionately making Raina have to throw away the sight that made her heart envious.

"We are here to sacrifice our feelings and therefore we have to understand each other's feelings" Adry said. "I don't want to kill Nita but what can I do, this is the only way to get a child."

Raina smiled wryly then took a long breath as her chest started to feel tight. The three of them then fell silent. At that moment Leon entered the living room.

"Mom, do I want to eat?" ask the child who is hungry.

"Tante Nita brought you a lot of food. Roy please bring it," said Adry but accompanied by a look of not understanding by Nita.

"So Roy proposed to buy a lot of food for Leon so we had time to buy it before picking you up" whispered Adry.

Roy then walks outside to pick up snacks and fast food for Leon. Actually for Leon and his mother because Adry bought a lot.

"Son, come here" called Adry waving to Leon. Leon then stood closer to Adry, the man then pulled the boy sitting next to him.

"Your mother is getting married to Om, is it okay?" ask Adry. Leon then looked at his mother and Adry took turns and nodded his head.

"Why did you allow it?"

"Because I want you to have a friend other than me who can make you laugh happily" Leon said honestly making Raina's eyes reddened with teasing. His son thought about this.

"You are a very understanding child" Adry said.

"I just don't want you to live alone if I'm not going to," Leon continued, making Raina shed her tears and Adry opened her eyes wide. Her chest felt hot and tight hearing the statement. Instantly he hugged Leon's body tightly in his chest.

"Don't say it, you'll be fine. We'll find the best doctor for your recovery" Adry said in a raucous voice to amaze Raina and Nita simultaneously.

"However, most people who are sick like me will die" Leon said. Adry's heart was so sad to hear it. He stretched out his arms and cupped Leon's cheeks with his two hands to be able to look at Leon's face.

Half-dead she refrains from falling down and from looking too concerned for Raina or her child. However, he could not hold back his feelings any further.
