Slander

These few days Raina is preoccupied with the activities that her mother-in-law plans for her. The woman even called a special teacher to teach her many things. Raina is happy with Janeta's earnestness to teach her but is sad that her time with Leon is completely drained away with all of those activities.

Raina and Leon will sleep together only at night when Adry is with Nita in their house. Janeta has forbidden it but in the middle of the night Leon secretly goes into his room and holds Raina's body.

"I love you and miss you" he said. Actually, the boy also felt kept away from Raina but he did not want to make his mother meet problems with his father's family, so he obeyed everything Janeta said including always going with Nita wherever women it takes her away or if Mom is not at Nita's house accompanying her all day.

Nita is good, but mom is still Mom. A child will be calmer and more comfortable with his mother.

"You're here, son?" raina opened her eyes and rubbed Leon's cheek. Raina's hands got wet.

"Eh, are you crying, honey?" ask Raina to rise. Leon put his index finger on his lips so his mother wouldn't make a sound.

"I miss Mom, we go home yuk Mom. Here we cannot be free together. I want to go back to our old house."

Raina hugged Leon's body. "It's not that easy, honey. Our passports are in Dad's hands and we can't ask him to return us home. You know Dad loves us so much."

Leon nodded his head. "Then we go back to the apartment or ask Dad to come back to our country."

"Honey, it can't be like that" Raina said. He could not explain to Leon his current position.

"Go to sleep, you'll think of a way."

Leon nodded his head. Trying to close his eyes but again he could not. She hugged Raina tightly.

"What's wrong? Are you harboring something you haven't told Mom yet?"

"I've heard that Aunt Nita was told by Oma to take me to the mall. Even though Aunt Nita had a photo shoot at the time. Oma gets angry and says if ...."Leon did not continue his words.

"If what?"

"I forgot Mom, it looks like if Mom's going to the nursing home with Grandma and I have to be at home with Auntie Nita or she's accompanying me out to play."

But Leon's short story makes Raina start thinking. What she thinks does happen if Nita and her mother-in-law intend to separate her and Leon.

In the morning Janeta searches for Leon all over the place but does not find him until she finally knocks on Raina's bedroom door.

"Is Leon inside?" ask Janeta.

"Yes, Mom, what's wrong?" ask Raina.

"Ehm. I've been looking for him everywhere?" janeta asked smilingly as she looked behind Raina.

"Yes, last night she wanted to sleep with me."

"Yes, Lord Raina she's grown up and does she have to sleep with you?''

"Wrong. A child should sleep in his own room should not be with his parents."

"If so wrong also if a child stays on one roof with his parents because he should live in his own house" Raina said.

"Are you trying to argue with me or are you trying to challenge me?" exclaim Janeta rising.

"No, Mom, how dare I do that to Mom. I just want to straighten out if togetherness is considered a mistake then the affection will never arise that there is reduced. We have to give his mother love."

"I'm not saying it's just that, he's grown up how nice it would be if he slept in his own room."

"She just slept with me not every day and that's because of the longing because this end we rarely met, it was just a formal dinner and after that we parted, and after that we split up, is he wrong to want to be with his mother?"

Here I am his mother and why don't you be the one who occasionally participates in Mother's activities, feeding others' children and in photographs while the child himself is left alone at home. Janet was crying. "I'm doing this because of Adry's request, I want you to look worthy before everyone's eyes to be my son-in-law. If it makes you think badly of me, I'm sorry!"

Janet was crying in Nita's arms.

"You're too much Raina, I just want to get close to Leon instead of trying to grab him your thinking is wrong."

"It's not wrong that I just want to be with Leon and you two always try to keep him away from me."

"Raina! You shouldn't have said that to my mother!" shout Adry. Raina was surprised. Nita smiled so thinly that she was barely seen.

"What's my fault, I just want to be with Leon and they're kind of preventing me from being with him."

"Here you go, son, he can't be regulated, he's not one of us. I've tried so hard to improve your attitude, but she's not happy and denies everything I taught her. Good thing you saw for yourself how he behaved to Mom" said Janeta in German, which Raina does not understand. However, women can guess if it's a bad gossip.

"Nita never denied to Mother even though she was pressed like anything," said Adry.
