The Trap of Endangering

"Oh, yes, you're wrong! Adry doesn't want to stay here, he just wants to take Leon from you and take him away from here. Leon's place in our palace is not in this rickety cage. He's a Quandt not an ordinary person."

"What does Mom mean?" ask Raina. Janet then patted the chair and sat down like a ruler.

"You can't be stupid Raina. Where would Adry choose you. You saw for yourself how he hit you because of me, didn't you? He's more defending our family than you're the one he just met."

Raina's face turned pias. Her chest felt tight and hot. His breathing began to become irregular.

"Mother don't lie? You just want to manipulate things, right?"

"What am I lying to." Janeta claps her hand as Roy enters the house with a file in hand. Raina looked closely at Roy.

"This is the filing of divorce papers that have been signed by Adry." Raina shook her head.

"No way, you must be lying to me" Raina said backwards. "Roy you... ."

"I'm sorry, didn't I advise you to leave as soon as possible? You don't trust me."

"Are you all playing me?" ask Raina.

"What are we playing you for. Here's a check you can write down anything you want to get Leon out. You know without or with your consent we're still taking Leon away" Janeta said.

The clear circle flowed swiftly without him being able to hold it anymore. "I still can't believe Adry left me" Raina said in a trembling voice.

"Adry and Leon are together with Nita they're going to the airport now, to get back to Germany."

"You lied!" raina exclaimed with all her might.

"You go Roy, let me take care of this. Wait for me in the car." Roy looked towards Raina. He looked heavy leaving the weak woman alone but he was just a subordinate who would do his duty as a member of the Quandt family.

"Sorry Raina, this time I can't help you" she said. He then walked out of the house accompanied by Raina's sharp gaze.

"Sign the letter if you don't want things to get complicated."

"It won't be until I know for myself if Adry wants it." Raina held the back of the chair to support her body which started to feel weak. He was still trying to survive despite the pain of stabbing his heart. Adry was his last hope this time.

Janeta smiles cynically at Raina.

"So you can't believe that Nita brought Adry and Leon, well if you want to see that horrible reality. Seeing the departure of your son and your beloved husband," said Janeta laughing cunningly.

The middle-aged woman then took a cellphone from inside a golden-white bag with twin letter C. He smiled as he sang a song. Activating phone.

He punched Nita's name on his favorite daughter-in-law. Call and connect.

"Hallo, Nita have you been with Adry and Leon?" ask Janeta.

"Hallo, yes, I'm on my way." replied Nita from across the street.

"Raina can't believe you're with Adry and Leon. God, he's so easy we fooled even so easily believe in Adry. Though he should have known that you were his love that he would never have left. Ha. ha. ha. ha. ha..," said Nita hardened the volume of the speaker.

"I'm with my son and my husband, you don't believe me" Nita said.

"He didn't believe it before he saw you and Leon together. Show him love to make him realize who he is."

"Oh my God, you still don't believe it either. Let me show you" the voice on the phone was clear to Raina. He waited with a thumping picture that he was about to see. I hope his parents-in-law lied to him.

There was no way Adry would have the heart to do this to her and Leon couldn't have been so easy to leave her alone. He may doubt Adry but not Leon. Or is Leon being forced by them. Questions were lodged in Raina's head.

Her breathing stopped when she saw Leon smiling at the phone, but Raina knew that Leon was fine and not bound to stress and Adry also sat back near Leon didn't look at the phone. They're in the car. Is it true that they are heading towards the airport? If he does, he should go after her. The video connection was only short, then again Nita's face was plastered clearly.

"We're going home. Pray that everything will be fine and smooth. Bye, good-bye," Nita said and called her dead.

Raina's body froze instantly. He's holding his chest. Her crying broke out. His legs felt limp could not support his body weight anymore.

"You're playing me?" said the woman.

Janet laughed loudly. "You think you've won against me by taking Adry away? No Raina. Adry is my son and will always be with me. Nita understood that she never tried to control my son because she was the successor of the Quandt business empire while you were the new one but wanted to be queen and rule over our future king. You're dreaming too much about Raina. You're nothing more than dust to get rid of immediately."

"I don't care about Adry, all I care about is Leon you can't take it from me!" raina shouted loudly.

Janeta then got up from her seat, walked over to Raina. He held the woman's chin and lifted her up. Staring cynically at him.

"You forgot who we are Raina, '" he said. "I could kill you right now. But it doesn't seem like bringing Leon alone is enough for us. You just stay here and enjoy our money as compensation."

"Compensation, I'll never give up your son."

"Not giving up but he chose to come with us. You are simply*****, which does not deserve to live with us. Your parents definitely couldn't educate you for letting you get pregnant out of wedlock. I'm sure you've slept with a lot of guys besides Adry."

Plaque! Raina hits Janeta hard in the face.
