A private jet belonging to the Quandt family landed in Jakarta the man decided to follow Karina to Jakarta. He couldn't possibly leave the woman alone amid the complicated problems she was facing.

Roy stepped forward to greet Mr and Mrs Andika. The retired police officer looked at him as he shook his hand firmly. "Thank you for coming here to pick us up" Roy said.

"How's Karina doing?" ask Andika.

"He's in good shape." Roy then saw Karina get off the plane, the woman asked for time to go to the bathroom first before getting off the plane.

He welcomed Karina's hand.

"My reason for calling you can only be known to the four of us" Roy said.

"I've sent my men to keep you secret so as not to be too conspicuous in the public eye."

"Can we trust you?" ask Karina who never believed in anyone but herself. It's a big case anyone can betray.

"Faith must be immediately gained open.given!" said Sergeant Andika. Roy nodded his head smiling.

They then headed to the car. It seemed like what Captain Andika had said if they were given some bodyguards disguised as ordinary people and were around them.

Then they get in the car. Roy sits next to Karina and Sergeant Andika is in the front seat.

"You look pale, even vampires look more blushing than you," said Roy touching Karina's cheek.

"I don't want someone to scare me with their threats and change my life's course and my life."

"Have you forgotten who I am?" Roy was shaking his waist and looking at Karina. The woman took a breath and turned her attention out of the car window.

"It's not the same Roy. It's a big problem a lot of powerful people are going to get involved in the Mega fund corruption scandal.

"Someone tried to intimidate you and your family and you got involved. Enough of me, I don't want to add any more trouble. Your life is at stake."

"Karina are you aware of what you're saying?" ask Roy.

Roy disagrees, and neither does Sergeant Andika.

"It's a big deal Miss, we have to be very careful. I also don't want you to be a victim in this matter but the truth must be upheld."

"You heard what Sergeant Andika said."

"I just want this problem not to drag on for long. I want to be free to do anything afterwards. Maybe saying that if I don't have any evidence it'll ease my problems in the future."

"Karina, what do you want to do?" Roy held Karina's shoulder.

"I can do anything for you and find out who's behind this and drag him to the green table."

"Roy we'll find a safe way."

"Don't you have to carry out your late father's last wish to clear his name?"

"That's better Mr. Roy" said Sergeant Andika. "The place will be heavily guarded later and no one will think you're there."

"You'll be out if there's a call from the prosecution" Roy continued.

"Listen to Karina I want you to survive this matter more than you know. I hope you trust me this time and leave all those problems on my shoulders." Roy grabbed Karina's shoulder and hugged her. The woman leaned her head on Roy's shoulder.

"I've never felt this safe when I'm with someone. Except my dad. He always gives and does his best for me."

The first thing they do is come to the house because to pick up his mother. After a two-hour drive from the airport they finally arrived at Karina's home complex. The area looks crowded and jammed. The sound of fire engine sirens could be heard roaring to break the atmosphere.

Karina and the others could see black smoke soaring high into the air. His breathing began to feel heavy he reached into his bag to pick up the inhaler ready if he needed it later.

As they enter the housing complex the source of the fire becomes more clearly visible. Sgt Andika slowly drove his vehicle through the audience and emergency cars. The car stopped by the side of the road, a few hundred meters from Karina's house.

Karina did not say a word but Roy could hear the woman's breath trembling, and a shocking outpouring of anger surged out from her.

Roy never got carried away with emotions when he found a case whatever it was. He always used reason instead of feeling but when with Karina, he felt a very furious rage. Roy nodded slowly.

This is very unfair to Karina. He shouldn't have accepted this. Total damage, the house and everything in it.

Everyone is here. Police, firefighters, paramedics and ambulances parked by the roadside.

The fence looks collapsed. Karina ran over. He found his mother among the crowd. Karina then hugged her mother who was on the cage and they cried together. His mother was taken into an ambulance and left.

Karina was shaking like a corpse but still breathing. The woman felt Roy's gaze then turned around, her eyes darkened by the pain and shock.

Roy pulled Karina's body in his arms. "Ssttt, everything will be fine" he murmured. He'll buy a new house for the woman. He was even willing to do anything to make this woman smile happily.

Karina did not say a word just put her body in warmth.

Chief Roy was filled with various thoughts. It must have been intentional, but why? Is it a warning or is there a big conspiracy in it?

Roy decides that sergeant Andika will research the matter. Figuring out what really happened was because of that he paid the former retired policeman dearly.

Karina did not cry, at least if it was done it would make her heart a little relieved because it could evaporate the squeeze. Obviously the woman had already been under pressure even long before meeting him.

Roy's hug is getting tighter. He even stroked the woman's back to make her calmer. Karina herself hugged the man's waist her head was placed on Roy's shoulder.

This situation made Roy fully concentrate because he suspected there would be dirty play in the future.

Karina's embrace stretched out to look at the man's face which seemed to be seriously looking at something. He followed Roy's point of view.

"Do you feel like you've lost that house?"

"Yes, there are a lot of memories there but that's the new house we used one year ago we stayed away because of the case that ensnared Dad. Our old house is even more valuable than simple."

"I don't think this is a big deal. Apparently God has designed that you can always stay with me, even if this hurts," said Roy then turned his head and smiled at Karina.
