Paper Dove
THE SCANDAL 2

I thought about what I should do to bring Jeni back home. The press conference will be held during the day.

Our strategy is not to give directly to the press but Doni will offer a transaction to Hartanto and his wife.

We will not attack Hartanto directly but we will provide this corrupt information with the main star being official X, it will automatically be revealed by itself.

Doni came into my work. " Mister, tomorrow at 10:00 this news will be released by our trust journalists".

" good. Let's do this mission quickly. I want to crush them to their roots. How dare they tease me", I said coldly.

" Their first son is involved in a drug case and is being investigated, if proven most likely to be arrested tomorrow" Doni continued.

" One pat, 3 mosquitoes die. I like this way. You are great Doni", I said again.

"Thank you sir", Doni received my praise with a flat face as usual.

"Eh there is one thing I have wanted to ask you since yesterday, but because of our busyness I have forgotten it" I said in serious fashion.

" Yes, what sir would you like to ask? As much as I can answer".

" You... Answer it honestly. The guy that Bella was with at the ice cream shop a few weeks ago was you, right?", I squinted.

Doni coughed suddenly. She stuttered not being able to answer my question.

" I'm asking you as Bella's sister. That man is you, right?", I asked once again.

Doni took a calming breath. " Yes sir. On my day off that day, Miss Bella forced me to accompany Miss for a walk. Forgive me sir, I have no ill intentions or hide it from you", Doni said honestly.

I folded my hands on my chest. "Given your 100% opposite nature, I'm sure you're the one I can trust the most" I said, recalling Bella's all-round nature, I'm pretty sure Bella must have forced and threatened him at all costs.

" I'm sorry sir, I should have told you earlier", Doni looked regretful.

" It's okay. But don't you know what my sister's hidden intentions are to you?", I tried to pry information about my wayward sister.

" No sir, it seems like miss is just tired of making friends" explains Doni.

" no. I'm pretty sure he'd want something from you. I know my sister", I said with a look of disdain.

Doni just kept quiet listening to me babbling indistinctly.

" All right now rest, tomorrow we will do our mission.before the press conference do those negotiations to his house" I said.

" Good sir", Doni said obediently.

That night I couldn't close my eyes, I stayed up all night hoping the morning would come. I think about Jeni, I miss her so much. I want to hug her.

Lately there are too many problems that make me unable to pay attention to it properly. I sit on the bedside. I hope everything goes well tomorrow.

At 8 am Doni was already standing at the door of the Hartono family home. Where am I?

I strolled through the back fence of their house and searched where Jeni's secret entrance was. I searched and found the door. The door was small and had almost fused with the fence plant. If you want to get through this door, an adult must actually crawl under it, almost down. But for the size of a small child of SD age, this door looks fit to pass while crouching.

I sneaked into their yard while hearing Doni talk to the Hartanto family through earphones. If people see me, they'll think I'm an FBI undercover agent.

I walked quietly and quietly, taking the stairs I brought from outside. Jeni's bedroom window is on the 2nd floor, I wish she was alone there.

Taking a small pebble I threw towards that window. Jeni's first throw did not appear, the second throw of Jeni's face appeared on the window. His face looks thin and sleepless.

When I saw Jeni almost yell out of excitement, I quickly coded Jeni to be quiet. It's like Jeni opened one of her windows so I could get in.

I put up the stairs I was carrying, as much as I could climb to get to the top. Negotiations that occur in the living room sound quite stressful. I didn't listen too much because I was busy climbing up Jeni's bedroom window.

" Your clothes are so dirty, where did you go?", Jeni whispered.

" I walked in from your secret door in SD", I kissed her cheek longingly.

Jeni was surprised "that door is still there?".

" Yes... Grandpa told me. I miss you", I looked into her Amber-colored eyes.

Jeni hugged me strong. "I miss you too. I thought you weren't coming to pick me up", Jeni shed her tears.

" It's impossible. I'll definitely come get you. Let's pack your things that need to be brought. We go", I said in a hurry.

Jeni rushed to pick something up in the closet. A medium size photo album and a black box.

" What's in the box?", I asked.

" This is the necklace my mother wore when she got married. When I got out of the house I didn't have time to take it" Jeni said with a smile.

I'm nodding. "Any more?", he asked.

" Nothing" then he quickly stuffed the two things into his bag.

I walked towards the door and Jeni walked towards the window. He looked at me in wonder, I smiled.

"I thought we were going through the window?", he asked.

" no. We're going through the front door" I said, then clasped his hand and opened the door.

Jeni hugged my arm like she was afraid that yesterday's events would be thrown away. We walked down the stairs, making the faces of the people in the living room even more astonished.

" You, so presumptuous. Where did you go?", asked Madame Hartanto with a dead red face.

" Of course through the window. If I go through the door are you going to let me see my wife?", I asked.

Jeni clasped my hand tightly, she didn't say anything. His face looked tense, it seemed that during here his stepmother treated him less well.

" This is called fraud. You dare to play us. Jeni returned to the room", Shouted mistress Hartanto.

Jeni hugged my arm.

" I'll charge you with kidnapping and confinement. Jeni is not currently your family and she is my wife", I looked at Hartanto.

" but... You.", it's not over Madame Hartanto said her husband has already snapped at her.

" Silence!", one word that made the woman freeze.

"Take your wife away. Jeni, uncle will not disturb your life anymore.Go away", said Hartanto then sat on the sofa.

I smiled and took Jeni away from the living room. I heard Doni blame the TV for the Hartanto family and of course the information we provided was being broadcast.

I quickly took Jeni away from the place. Our car drove quickly away from the yard of the house.

" We're not going back there" I patted Jeni's hand still holding mine.

Jeni breathed a calming breath. I hugged her full of love.

" Thank you for waiting for me", I whispered in his ear.

Jeni drowned herself in my arms without speaking again. She was too tired as it seemed and I hugged her in my strong arms.
