My Questions About Your Past

John is very busy this semester. But that didn't stop me from meeting him. After the night he came to me tired, I heard not a word of his unrest. And I don't want to ask.

It's just that Meggy's name keeps flashing in my head. Who's Meggy? What happened between Juan and Nandes? But I'm trying to get rid of that curiosity. 

And on a hot day, the sun was not ashamed to shine like the day before. Nandes showed up around my school with some of his friends as usual, sitting on the fence wall and waiting for me to pass. 

When I passed by with Elsa, Nandes shamelessly played the guitar he was carrying. Suddenly there was a small concert.

What makes my face red is Nandes calling my name out loud makes students who are frenzied to go home cancel their intentions and re-group to watch. 

" Hi Dewun. This song I dedicate to you".

Nandes then sang the song I just heard from his mouth today. Nandes' friend who came with him did not miss, someone hit the bucket with the intention they brought and someone played the pianika. 

Elsa laughs at the behavior of Nandes "Wah pantes Juan crazy, his rival has incredible guts Dewun. This is the war of his name". 

I glanced at Elsa exasperatedly, and then walked away from Norak Nandes but couldn't because Nandes' friend was blocking my way and Elsa's. All four of them he winked at Elsa who was met with a fierce look from Elsa. 

" Where are you going? Watch first dong, my friend was tired of training until he missed the period" said friend Nandes. 

I gave up and stood looking at Nandes irritatedly.  Many students who stood watching this mini concert from behind the fence even approached out of curiosity.  Nandes smiled at me and plucked his guitar confidently.

I glared at Nandes as soon as I heard the lyrics of the song, of course Nandes cuek duck continues to sing while looking at me.

Unlike me, the other spectators excitedly clapped their hands excitedly to hear this impromptu band showing its action. 

Pianika played shrewdly and with increasing zeal Nandes strummed his guitar. Nandes' friend who was blocking my path jiggled furiously without shame.

The small concert ended because it was loud from behind the crowd. This concert seemed to disturb the 3rd class who happened to be in the back of his class position. 

" What are these storms? Why haven't you come home yet? Who was it that climbed over the fence?", the school security tried to pass through the crowd to catch the culprit of this commotion. 

Nandes and his friends jump off the fence. And the crowd that was more and more began to scatter, making our school security increasingly difficult to catch up.

Nandes ran towards me and quickly pulled my hand along to blend in with the scattering crowd. Reflexively I pulled Elsa's hand, the three of us ran like fidelity and amazingly Nandes' friends disappeared in the blink of an eye leaving a bucket that was almost broken under the wall.

Me and Nandes spontaneously slowed the run and stopped. Nandes was sitting on the asphalt of a quiet residential complex just as we were tired.  I don't know where we ran. 

" Wah. gi.la... lungs..want ... jebol", I gasped a little and sat on the asphalt. 

Nandes watched the two of us who could not stand up. Then laughs little "You guys ran tight too huh. Wait here I buy you some water", Nandes stood up while carrying his guitar. He left for a while then returned with 3 bottles of cold water in his hands. 

Elsa and I welcomed the mineral water happily. Sipping the water like a man who hasn't had a drink for months. After that I hit Nandes' arm with all my strength. 

" Why do you like to make a noise?", I was angry.

" I'm just singing, where's the fault?" ' Nandes replied guiltlessly. 

" Wrong sister singing in front of school. And again sister is 3rd class is there no preparation UN?", I ngabble-ngcokeh angry. 

" There is but more importantly find you" Nandes smiled without burden. 

I walked quickly away from Nandes. Elsa just stood dumbly by our debate. 

" This is your friend missing. Hi your name is Elsa huh?", Nandes extended his friendly hand. 

" Yes brother. How do you know?", Elsa was surprised Nandes knew her name. 

" Yes dong tau.kan Gebetan embun I did not know gebetan friends" Nandes smiled. 

I looked back and looked towards them "Come on the hunt. Even talking", I rented.

"Yes. darling. Want me to sing another song?", Nandes teased me. 

I glared at Nandes who was met with laughter and a helping hand to ruffle my hair.

Juan came to my house late in the evening, complete with his school uniform. As I approached her the fragrance of perfume and the smell of her masculine body made me crazy. The more afternoon I was fascinated by it. 

" You come straight here?", I asked. 

" Yes.I heard that Nandes came to school?", asked Juan unceremoniously.

" Yes.he .. That is", I took Juan to a seat. Don't talk about it.

" Do you like that way? Can I be more tacky than that? ", juan grabbed my arm.

I looked into Juan's eyes, there was jealousy there, "Don't do something like that. I feel like I just want to disappear from the earth", I refused firmly. 

Juan breathed a long, relieved breath. We talked for quite a while. Until I finally asked something Juan seemed reluctant to talk about. 

" Sister, can I ask you something?", I'm careful. 

" Well, what do you want to ask?", asked Juan, playing with the tip of my hair. 

" Who's Meggy?", I asked innocently. 

Juan stopped playing with my hair. For a second he looked at me thinking.  I waited long enough. 

" He's an old friend" Juan replied without hesitation. Then I went back to playing my hair. 

I nodded in understanding, not asking anymore. Juan also did not discuss anything just that there was a slight change in his face. 

When Juan was coming home, I drove him to the front porch. Juan took a step towards me. He looked at my eyes softly and a little sad.  I grabbed her face with my hands, stroked her a little. 

" I like you Dew", Whispered Juan to me and unexpectedly he kissed my cheek gently. 

The attack made my heart beat fast, it felt like all my blood flow was down to my legs. My face warmed up and my cheeks blushed red. Juan stroked my cheek gently. 

" See you at school tomorrow, beautiful" Juan told me. 

I nodded at him, hoping Juan didn't hear my heart thumping like it was going to come out of place. When Juan was gone I ran into my room and covered myself with a blanket. There was happiness mixed with shame that almost burst from my chest. My cheeks were kissed by my first love.  I rolled around happily on the bed.
