Deepest Wound

Deepest Wound
MEET MR. ADJI

It's been a few days now that Kak Laras and Kak Agil spend the night at my house. Kak Agil's work is done and tomorrow morning they will be back soon.

After the maghrib prayer and dinner, I approached Kak Laras who was packing his belongings.

"Sister, should you not do anything more last night?" I said to Brother Laras.

"Sister wants it like that, An. But Agil must work too. Next time you'll take your sister on vacation to Brother's house."

"Sister should have come at the beginning of the holidays yesterday, so I can come?" I said while reminiscing about the holidays that only stayed a few days.

"Learn to cook as holy first if you want to come," said Kak Agil who was sitting in the middle room. Because the distance of the room and the middle room is only limited to a wall, and the door is open. Makes Kak Agil can hear clearly what we are talking about.

"I'm going on vacation as Kak Laras' sister, not want to be babu!" I screamed from inside.

Finished Kak Laras packed the goods, then we went out of the room and sat also in the middle room. I still see the rest of the laughter on Kak Agil's face.

The doorbell rang and I went to open the door after I saw the window glass, Om Wandy standing in front of the door.

"Come in, Om." I let Om Wandy in.

As usual Om Wandy never came empty handed. He handed over his luggage and I immediately accepted it with pleasure.

Me and Brother Laras are still sitting in the living room while enjoying the fruits of Om Wandy. While Om Wandy himself sat in the living room with Kak Agil.

I already feel so full. Me and Brother Laras took all of them and went into each other's rooms.

In the morning, Kak Laras and Kak Agil are ready to go home. Not to mention Laras left the house, I already felt very lost.

"Don't forget to lock the doors and windows, don't be careless. Remember, don't take too long if you have a male guest, it's already over 10 p.m." Kak Laras.

"Yes, Brother,"

"Yes, Brother go first. Be careful and take good care of yourself."

Me and Brother Laras hugged each other. Then Kak Laras got into the car and waved his hand from the open car window.

I went into the house which now felt very quiet.

My phone rang, I saw Brother Ardi who called me and I immediately received it.

"Hello, Brother."

"I miss you" said Brother Ardi and made me soar in space.

I wanted to say the same thing, but I hesitated and there was still shame in my heart. I've said the word "honey" before. But it's just a reflex without planning.

"Anita...?"

"Eh, I am, Brother." I stammered hearing Brother Ardi's voice that broke my daydream.

"You don't want to say kangen is the same as me? Don't I just miss being with you."

"Who said!? I miss the same brother. I'm very, very upset." I became lethargic. I kept my mouth shut but the words had already slid and of course Kak Ardi heard everything.

"Thank you.., I just wanted to hear those words from kamum. Oiya, I'll be back tomorrow."

My shame disappeared and turned into a sense of pleasure when Kak Ardi said he would come back tomorrow.

"What time will you leave from there?" Ask me impatiently.

"Maybe a little unfortunate, because Papa still has a little business. So I probably came a little late. Are you sure you don't want to bring anything from here?"

"No, I want his brother back as soon as possible and we go to the cafe that my sister used to take me there the first time we went together" I asked.

"Oh, is that all? All right, anything for you."

The short conversation between me and Ardi was over.

To get rid of my boredom that afternoon I intend to do a little exercise.

I've worn my gym clothes and have also braided my hair neatly. I took my sports shoes and put them on.

"Other times, sister has a lot to do. Some of you jogging did not say it first," replied Kak Ina.

"Hehe...."

I passed by while running away from my yard.

In the street I heard the voice of someone calling my name from behind. I stopped my tracks and looked back.

OMG!

That's Mr. Adji. My heart suddenly screamed loudly. After a long time not meeting Mr. Adji increasingly look handsome.

"Eh, Father. How are you?" My toot.

"good. How about yourself?" Ask Mr. Adji back.

"I'm good too, sir," I replied.

We talked ssmbil went hand in hand. In view of the costume that Mr. Adji wears, it looks like Mr. Adji is also jogging. With his oalahraga clothes, Pak Adji's sixpack body was clearly printed in my eyes at that time. It was a perfect coincidence.

"What about your school?" Ask Mr. Adji to make me re-conscious.

"Hm, my school is good."

"Still a class champion?"

"Yesterday was only ranked 3."

"What's wrong? Are you writing any more poetic words?"

My face warmed up when Mr. Adji came back to pry my prank at that time.

"E.., mom-no. But I'm lacking in the religious field. Hehe...."

We arrived at a place that used to be a place to relax in the afternoon. From teenagers to those who are married also make the place as their choice to spend time together. The place will be very crowded on weekends.

I was sitting in a place that was already available there. I deliberately chose a place that was a bit far from the crowd.

It turned out that Mr. Adji was following me as well and sitting next to me. I had thought Mr. Adji would break away and the conversation was over. I wanted to ask you why Mr. Adji was sitting with me. But in fact it was a public place so I had no right to speak like that.

"Do you go to this place often?" Mr. Adji asked me again by asking me.

"Just a few times" I replied.

"Where are you going but to this place?"

"Usually a friend invites me who will determine his place. I'm just coming along."

"There's no place you might want to go?"

"There was. I've been there once, and I want to go there again when I have time" I replied excitedly.

Our conversation was getting closer, like two people who were friends. Previously me and Mr. Adji have never been this familiar even though Mr. Adji once drove me home from school.

"What if tomorrow we go where you meant?" Tawar Pak Adji's.

I was silent for a moment. Was my hearing wrong? Did Mr Adji really take me?

"Not to be afraid, you won't kidnap you, kok." Adji laughed after saying that.

I smiled but still felt awkward.
