EXPRESS FEELINGS

When I got to my room, I opened my hood and dropped my body on the bed. The quiet atmosphere is increasingly felt because Mother has returned to the village.

I closed my eyes which were already very sleepy. When I woke up it was a little dark. I went to the bathroom to clean up, while I was getting dressed I felt something was missing in my room. My guitar doesn't look there. I panicked and thought someone had stolen my guitar. But who's the guy, not the house locked and where maybe Mommy's carrying my guitar. My mind is already very messed up considering that only the guitar is my means of entertainment. I tried to go to Mommy's room to check it out but nothing.

Because I was so desperate I just called Om Wandy.

📞 "Yes An, what's wrong?"

📞 "Hmm..., this is how Anita's guitar is missing, and --"

📞 "Oh..., your guitar is not missing really, safe...."

📞 "I mean Om?"

The morning so quickly came while I still wanted under the covers to close my eyes while hugging the bolster. But I forced him to get up because soon Om Wandy would come to pick me up.

"Still pouting," said Om Wandy when I got into the car.

I didn't answer and Om Wandy just ran the car. After arriving at school I got out of the car and Om Wandy called me. I turned to Om Wandy who was talking through his car window.

"If Anita can get in the top 10 later Om replace her guitar with a better one!"

"So do you get the prize?" My speech.

"What does Anita want?"

I smiled and turned my back to continue my path to school.

I like challenges

After arriving at school I went straight to my class and I was surprised to find there was already Kak Ardi sitting right in front of my desk

"Sir Ardi why sit here...? Not ashamed of what!? Just look, here is only Ardi's sister," I said while pointing at the classroom with my eyes. And I deliberately reversed my words earlier.

"There's something I want to talk about. It matters!" Said Brother Ardi.

I'm occupying my chair. "Royal..," I said.

"Anita, I've loved you since the first time we met," Ardi looked at me seriously with his brown eyes.

Not only did I hear, even the rest of the class knew that Ardi was expressing his feelings for me. It was my first time, and I was so embarrassed. I want to sink my body to the bottom of the Earth.

"Anita..., why didn't you come last night? We are waiting" said Fatiah, who had just entered class that morning.

"I don't know, he immediately said he liked and waited for an answer" I replied. You want to lie for free, because other friends have heard everything.

But I salute my friends here, they didn't mock me at all after what happened just now. It's just that I can't figure out why Brother Ardi can be so brave as to express his feelings for me.

During the lesson, my mind was not necessarily in the direction of remembering the words of brother Ardi. How can I get a satisfactory score if my mind is screwed up like this. I'd be ashamed if I couldn't beat Om Wandy's challenge. My target is to get first place in my class.

From that moment on I might have avoided meeting with Ardi. And it seems that Brother Ardi is aware of my attitude. And this morning Brother Ardi was waiting for me in front of the alley where I used to walk. It seems like Ardi was waiting for me there and I didn't see the bike either.

"No!"

Ardi just smiled at my answer. There was no disappointment on his face.

The first time I saw her I couldn't stop looking at her. He was very different and looked more conspicuous among the others. When I could see his eyes and face was a joy to me.

Maybe I was too hasty when I expressed my feelings for her. I felt uneasy when he suddenly avoided me. I tried to wait for him and ask him why. I also want to know the answer from him about the feelings I expressed yesterday.

I didn't expect him to accept me right away, but at least he already knew how I felt and this was the first step for me to fight for his heart.

I started today with more focus on learning to win the challenge of Om Wandy.

I threw away all thoughts about Ardi and I ignored the temptation from the good looks of Mr. Yusran even though it was very difficult 😁

The break bell rang I also took care of my books and stationery. I saw there was a crowd in one of the rooms and said there was a practice for some students who would perform to represent the school at an event. I'm no longer interested in attending any events, all I want is for me to graduate soon and earn some more trust from Dad.

But I saw some students who were carrying guitars and heading into the room. This is a temptation for me, I miss my guitar confiscated by Om Wandy.

"Let's see our friends who are training," Salwa asked.

I'll come along when Salwa pulls my arm. When I arrived at the door of the room I saw a guitar that was idle. I just grab the guitar and then I take Salwa to sit in a place somewhat hidden near the back tree of the school.
