Chapter 82 - Determination

The four of them were silent for a while before Need finally opened his voice, "It seems like the current events are happening to be the reason why you can't send them back to the human world.

Worst of all, no one could get out of this place. Even dimensional cracks that sometimes appear may disappear. We really can't get out of this world even if we want to."

Nevan retorted as she looked at Need, "Then, how are we supposed to get back to the human world?"

Need sniffed his shoulder while putting on a nonchalant expression, "That's your problem. For me, this is no problem. Because this is where I live."

"Even if there's going to be a big riot in this place, are you still okay here?" Rafa Tuas.

Need meliirk Rafa with eyes slightly narrowed cynically, "Whatever happens to my homeland, I stay here and try to solve it. Because of the problems in the demon world, including my problems. I have a responsibility to keep him there."

Rafa gave a brief snort before he looked at Need cynically, "Then, just go ahead and meet the person who has made this matter. Didn't you mention her name? Meet him and sort out the core of the problem so we can come back. Don't just talk without acting. You're just saying shit."

Rafa snorted, "Oh huh? Would I also end up as miserable as you would if I underestimated that demon? Hah, it turns out that way. You are not able to solve the problem, but you act as if you know everything and can solve all the problems. I've misjudged you.

You're not that kind of person. You're just a coward running from the core of the problem. You said you didn't find it, but you didn't even try to look for it really. You just reason not to find it."

Nevan gasped at Rafa's words. He had never heard Rafa say a word that could demean others like this.

Need's hand clenched tightly upon hearing the disparaging tone coming out of Rafa's mouth, "I've tried to look for him, but I didn't find him! You can only talk, you don't do anything, so it's best to keep your mouth shut before you can't use it anymore."

Rafa smiled so thinly with eyes focused on Need, "Ah, really? Sorry for reminding you of your cowardly behavior."

Although what Rafa said was 'sorry', but his tone did not sound like that. Even what he said made Need even more furious.

Rafa came out from a place that had previously been painted with a picture of the emblem that has now disappeared in part. He walked up to Need and stood in front of him. He pointed to his face and said, "Are you angry? Just hit. Come hit me. You can take it out like that.

Explain how helpless you are in the face of the enemy. And... How powerless you are to resist your cowardice."

"Wafa?!" Nevan was surprised not to play to hear Rafa's statement that sounded challenging. He shakes in disbelief. Since when did his brother become fond of provoking the emotions of others?!

Need does not like when he is denigrated, let alone underestimated like this by a boy who was even born yesterday afternoon. His hand was clenched tightly and ready to be cast on Rafa's face if no hand held his wrist when he almost landed.

Need glanced to the side and knew that the one holding him back was Radolf. The man said seriously, "Stop this, Need."

Need immediately removed his hand from Radolf. His expression clearly contained a sense of resentment towards Rafa, "Hmph! Parents and children alike, like to make trouble for others."

"You too Rafa, what are you doing? Don't look for trouble at a time like this" Radolf stared firmly at Rafa. This seemed to be a warning from him for the young man.

Rafa expressed calmly, "It is precisely in this situation that we have to create trouble. We'll go to the big tree he meant first," he pointed at Need with a look in the eye.

"Then destroy the tree at any cost."

Need looked at Rafa. He did not think with the words that were thrown, "How can you say it like it is an easy thing?! That tree is so big, we can't possibly destroy it!"

Rafa's words silenced Need's mouth until he could not reply. Rafa continued, "If you still can't, we have to ask others for help. You said you were the demon lord. Then you should have an army, right?"

Plus, they all thought I was a traitor. So there won't be any army in the kingdom that will obey my orders."

Radolf added, "Father is also a commander in another kingdom. The kingdom is led by Leon. But the kingdom was destroyed. Its inhabitants scattered in many places and ended up becoming slaves to other demons. For his army, they turned away from Leon and followed another King."

Radolf sounded sad and guilty when he said that. He felt that all this was his fault. But even so, he never felt sorry for having been in contact with humans until he had Rafa. Neither Rafa nor Nevan expected this. They were shocked and did not know how to respond.

Rafa muttered softly until his voice did not sound clear, "I don't know much about him. I don't even know anything like this."

"If we cut the tree, will this mess be finished? No. gabe. There are monsters that are a problem. Although we managed to do it, not necessarily the current situation will change for the better," Need said with a serious expression.

"We won't know before trying," Rafa replied expressionlessly. "Again, if he were to find the person who caused this kind of trouble and we found him, what trouble would he just stop here?"

"That's if he's willing to answer you, what if he refuses?"

Not getting any reply from Need, making Rafa again open his voice, "We will go to the tree. Then during the trip there, invite as many demons to come attack. At least we can do something, instead of just lamenting the problem."

Rafa knew, if he only thought about the problem, then the problem would never be solved. There must be action to get it done.

Nevan gets nervous, "R-Rafa? You mean, k-us? Your father, the street sweeper, you.. And me?"

Need suddenly said a loud protest, "Hey! I have a name! I'm Need! I told you it was just my temporary job back then!"

Nevan cares nothing for the demon's protection and only focuses on Rafa. He hoped that what he thought was wrong. But it doesn't seem so.

Rafa replied, "Yes, the four of us."

"But we're only here to find your father and.. Leon.. There's nothing in the plan when we're going to do something like that here" Nevan panicked a little. He knew the demon world was not a good place for humans like them.

If during the journey to the tree they encountered many demons and those demons knew if they were human, what would happen? It's not impossible that they'll prey on him and Rafa. After all, eating a human heart could make a demon even stronger. In a state of chaos like this, of course, many demons want to defend their lives from the attack of the deadly butterfly or from monsters. By getting stronger, they can increase the percentage of life.

Radolf was stunned when he saw Rafa's cold gaze. His body froze and involuntarily held his breath. The look of his son was truly similar to someone! Even he would undoubtedly consider him to be that person, if he did not remember if the one in front of him was his own son.
