Chapter 10 - Night Market

"I praise the very nature of your loyalty to him. But you don't be stubborn. Look at your situation now. Are you going to keep quiet and be like this?"

A demon was lying on the floor in a state of apprehension. Both of his arms are chained. His body was full of bruises, burns and incisions. Blood was pouring down on the floor below. His face was so pale as if he had no blood.

The man remained firm with his stance. He did not want to tell where the Demon Lord he served to the man in front of him was. Because he knew, if he did that, then his King would be attacked by the four Demon Lords.

Stev, the demon lord who is now responsible for obtaining information about Leon's whereabouts, has been torturing Radolf for several days. But the man still kept silent and did not want to say the whereabouts of Leon.

"You should be his right-hand man and his confidant. Now I get it. You're hard to work with me. Whereas if you say so, you will be free from this torment and be able to live well," Stev nodded his head in a nod.

Stev squatted in front of Radolf, "We've been trying to find him all over the demon world. We've even spread the leaflets if anyone finds it will get a big reward. More and more demons are looking for him. But until now he has not been found.

After everyone had finished eating, Rafa noticed Leon and Nevan alternately. He coughed for a moment, "Ekhem, since I'm off today and tomorrow, how about we go to the market tonight?"

Nevan's eyes sparkled when he heard the word 'night market'. For a long time he had never gone to such a place again, "I agree!! Let's go over there! But, why did you come and take her there?" Nevan suddenly became silent and watched his brother as the question flashed through his head.

Leon can only follow what Rafa wants. He himself was curious about it.

"Do you want to try what Nev's playing, Leon?" asked Rafa while pointing at the game stand.

Leon nodded. He wants to try what Nevan is playing, because it looks quite interesting.

Leon and Nevan are fighting each other. Nevan's got the prize he's after. Now it's time for her to have fun.

Leon looked at his target straight. The center of the circle looks quite small. But he felt he could hit it. Using a toy gun in his hand in the same way as Nevan, he starts shooting.

Rafa applauds Leon when the boy hits the target. He did not think that Leon could succeed in one try.

"You ever heard of luck for beginners? That's who you are now. You won't be able to hit it a second time" Nevan said with a slanted smile. He notices the target, then shoots it.

"Hmph," Leon just snorted. He looked back at his target and gradually shot out twice the small arrow.

Nevan grunts at Leon's luck. He doesn't want to lose. He immediately shot his target. When one arrow stuck well, another one missed and couldn't hit the shot properly, "Curl, you're just lucky. I purposely gave up on you."

Rafa smiled. It looks like Nevan has returned as usual. "Since you hit the target exactly 3 times in a row, you can pick the gift you want just like Nev did, Leon."

Leon nodded. He noticed the gifts hanging one by one. Most of the gifts are dolls. But there was one thing that caught his attention. He immediately pointed to her, "I want that."

"Ah, I'm so sorry. You can't get it with just 3 shots. You can get it if you hit the same target 7 times in a row." Say the seller with an unpleasant expression. Even in his heart he was smiling cynically.

He believes Leon will not be able to continue shooting at the same target if there are still other arrow bullets in the target. Because the center circle is quite small, it is impossible to do so without emptying the space first.

"It's not like this usually. Nev also just got the thing he wanted with only 3 shots in the sequence" said Rafa with annoyance.

Without further ado, Leon immediately took out another gun that was already loaded with small archery bullets. He focused his gaze on the small gap made by the previous 3 arrows, then shot him 2 times in chains without missing a single bit.

The seller was flabbergasted by the play the little boy had done. Now only 2 more shots remain and Leon can get the desired prize.

Leon again fired 1 arrow and directly hit the target. He also took another gun because the bullet on the pinstol he used was used.

On his last shot, Leon could not see an opportunity to shoot. All the gaps are closed. He kept looking for the slightest gap, but he did not find it.

Nevan immediately took the gun that Leon was holding. He pointed it at the shot, "If there is no gap, then open the gap itself," having managed to get the right position, he fired his gun.
