Chapter 39 - Anxiety

Leon sat leaning against a tree. It's still in the same place.

Although he finished off Teddy, but he felt tired. He's not used to doing things like this. Plus, his mentality was a little shaken. In his memory, this was the first time he had killed someone. This made him feel guilty.

He did not intend to kill the man, but he made himself feel threatened and in the end accidentally killed him.

His arm was still covered with blood, although his nails had shortened as before.

"Now how do I go to meet them?" muttered Leon. He stood up slowly and approached Teddy's body. He'll find his cell phone and find out where the hospital is.

"I'm sorry" Leon muttered in front of Teddy. After apologizing, he immediately searched the contents of his clothes and found a flat box object on the man's jacket.

Open the phone and search. Previously he had been taught how to use a mobile phone by Rafa to keep watch if one time he lost. That way, he just need to find out where it is and come back. But he was also taught how to send messages, reply messages and call.

Leon was silent when he saw the background of the phone display. It was a picture of Teddy with Katly. There is a young man in the photo. He's never seen it. However, the three of them looked very happy.

Seeing him, made Leon's feelings even more unpleasant. He's already taken someone's life and it's going to bring sadness to others close to Teddy, "Sorry.."

"Actually where did he go? I've been looking all over the place, but he's not around" Rafa muttered as he walked briskly to and fro in the hallway. He sees each room through the glass, but does not find Kevin.

He had also searched the toilets and eating places in the hospital, but was not found. He became worried. Moreover, the infusion lying in Kevin's room was forcefully uprooted. If only he had kept her in the room and had not gone to the front yard, this would definitely not have happened.

After feeling tired of continuing to search, Rafa finally returned to Kevin's room, hoping to see him there. Just now that he was expecting something, that hope was already before his eyes, "Kevin..!!"

He immediately went inside in a hurry and stood in front of the patient's bed. He felt so relieved when he saw that Kevin was fine. Even the infusion lying on the floor earlier was firmly reattached in his hands. It's just that he just realized the presence of others.

Rafa looked at the teary-eyed young man in a white coat standing near the infusion pole. He looks so young when compared to the other doctors he saw at this hospital.

"Ah, hello! I'm sorry are you his brother?" ask Ash with a smile.

"T-no, I'm her friend," Rafa replied awkwardly. He looked at Kevin at the end. But his friend immediately turned his face away from him like he was angry.

Ash narrowed his eyes. It was like seeing Rafa's face. He even saw it many times. He looked up to remember.

"Pulse.. Kev, I'm sorry for leaving you alone here" Rafa said with his head bowed.

"I'm fine on my own. Besides, did you call my parents and tell me how I'm doing now?" Kevin now started looking at Rafa with a flat expression.

Rafa held his head up and looked at Kevin, "I-yes I told them last night. That time... I was so freaked out about your situation, so I thought they should know about the condition of her son who was in the hospital. Do you... dislike when I tell them? They said it's coming today, but I haven't seen it."

"They've come here. They also met me. But next time, never call them again if something happens to me. For now, you just go home. Or you'd better stay at a friend's house for a while."

Kevin's every word seemed emotionless. He showed no emotion at all. Whether sad, angry or happy.

"Forget it, it's not your fault" Kevin turned his face back the other way. He seemed reluctant to look at Rafa.

"ah! I just remembered! You're the one that Dad said! Your name is Rafa, right?" ash said arriving.

Rafa was a little shocked by Ash's voice that arrived loudly. He looked at the doctor and nodded, "Yes, my name is Rafa. But... how does the doctor know?"

"He's a polite kid, unlike Kevin," Ash's inner self smiled.

"My father used to show me pictures of you. Well, even though he might be photographing you in silence without permission. He says you're the one who interested him and wants to take you on as a hunter. Haish.. I'm sorry if he's been making you confused and troubled" Ash said, scratching the back of his neck.

Rafa blinked a few times, "Dad doctor? You mean uncle Teddy?"

"Yes, he's my father."

Rafa blinked a few times. She can't believe Teddy has a child other than Katly. Doesn't this mean she's the girl's sister? Well, he didn't suspect it at all.

"That's great. I didn't think uncle had a son. Even working as a doctor" Rafa said in awe.

"Ah, there is no need to praise like that. I'm used to it," despite saying that, Ash actually likes to get compliments. "Oh yeah, my name is Ash. It's nice to meet you."

Rafa smiled happily, "My name is Rafa. Nice to meet Dr. Ash."

"No need to call me that. Just call Ash's brother."

"alright.. Oho! Sorry in advance, can I borrow your phone, brother Ash? I want to call uncle Teddy. He's been gone since, but he hasn't come back."

Ash raised next to his eyebrows, "What's the matter, Dad? Where'd he go?"

Rafa's speechless. Looks like Teddy didn't say anything about last night's incident to Ash. He also did not say if he went to his house this morning. "Before I wanted to pick up Leon, my brother at home. Because he was there himself. Then my uncle told me he was going to go and tell me to rest.

But because my phone broke this morning, so I couldn't call him and Kevin didn't have his number. Plus, I don't remember uncle's cell number."

"I've been trying to reach him ever since. But I didn't pick up the phone from me," Ash was getting worried. He suddenly felt bad, like something bad had happened to his father.

Ash asks for Rafa's home address so he can catch up with his father. Unsuspecting or wary of her, Rafa tells her where to stay.

"Then, I'll excuse you. I gotta get back. Then Kevin, take good care of yourself. Rafa, I've got him on you, "Ash hastened straight away. He would ask for a longer break to go find his father.

Teddy is an adult and can take care of himself, especially he is a blizt, he should not worry about the condition of his father. But for some reason, he felt he had to look for it.
