Chapter 32 - Brawl

The hospital room was now quiet after the food distribution was completed by Teddy. The man saw Rafa sitting next to him and Kevin sitting on the hospital bed in front of him. It was as if something had just happened between them.

"This may not be my business, but what has happened to you during the time I bought food?" finally Teddy asked what was stuck in his mind. The atmosphere in this room was now so uncomfortable that there were two people fighting in the same room as him.

Kevin glanced at Teddy. He actually did not know why the man could be here and even buy food for them, even though he ate only with porridge because of illness. However, it didn't seem to matter if he replied, "We're just talking about what happened before."

Rafa himself was silent. He did not give any explanation and ate his food quietly.

Teddy glanced one by one at the two young men. He noticed the food and began to scoop it up, "If it's just like that, shouldn't you guys be fighting? Last night Rafa was very worried about your condition, even to keep you all night until not sleeping.

Is it just because you're talking about a problem that's already happened, that you're going to keep quiet like this?"

No one answered between the two. This also made Teddy breathe. He then chews the food that has been put in his mouth. It seemed like the matter that made them like this was no ordinary matter. But despite being curious, he could not force them to answer.

"If you don't answer, I won't force you. But I've helped you guys get to the hospital the other night. I'm so sleepy. My energy is drained to drive. Is there anything that can be said to me at all?" teddy complained while eating his food quickly.

"I thank you again for helping us uncle" Rafa said with a smile.

"Ah, that's no big deal" Teddy replied as he scratched the back of his neck. Though he hoped the two young men would tell him the reason if he said this.

"Thank you" said Kevin expressionlessly.

"Yes," Teddy replied flatly anyway.

"After this I have to find Leon. I didn't find him at home last night. He may be lost again. During that time, can uncle keep Kevin here?" Rafa.

Teddy tilted his head. He just heard the name from Rafa's mouth, "Who is he?"

"He's been living in my house for almost a month. So I wasn't alone with Kevin at home last night. I'm worried about him. I don't want her to see that stranger. Hence, can uncle keep Kevin for a while?" Rafa stood up immediately. He was ready to go back home.

Although he was a little afraid to go home now, he had to be brave. He hasn't seen Leon since school. Plus, there was an attack at night, making him feel anxious about the boy.

Kevin clenched his hands and gritted his teeth in annoyance, "You still care about it? I told you to get him out of the house!"

Rafa was surprised to hear Kevin's voice slightly higher than usual. He looked at the young man, "What do you mean? Don't talk so much."

"You only knew him at the time, but why do you care so much about him? You might feel sorry for her memory loss and not having a place to stay, but you can send her to an orphanage. They will take good care of him.

Why do you have to bother taking care of a child whose origin is unclear? Don't keep defending and worrying about it! Think of yourself! If...you don't want to send her to an orphanage, just throw her out!"

Kevin's words were filled with anger, as if it was the anger he had been harboring for a long time.

Rafa could not believe that his friend would say such a thing. He shook his head in disbelief and resentment, "Are you thinking about what you just said? Why are you doing that with him?! What did he do until you said such a word?!"

"That's enough, don't fight," Teddy tried to mediate. But no one seemed to hear his voice.

Kevin also put emphasis on his words now, "Before the arrival of uncle Teddy, there were other foreigners who came to the house. He is like the one who attacked us.

You know what broke your table? It was because of that stranger! He slammed my body into the table. I lied to you when the table was broken for practicing.

And then besides, that scratch on the neck that you treated yesterday, it's because of that guy. He took me to a forest to arrive and there was Leon. The stranger made me like a hostage until finally this scratch wound was created.

The arrival of him and the one who attacked us is because of Leon! They're looking for him and in the end we're hurt like this. Had enough. Giving Leon a place to live in your house, will only bring danger to you.

Maybe not only those two people are coming, but someone else who is just like them will come again for searching for Leon. You must immediately drive him out of the house."

"Whatchu mean? Leon wasn't the cause of this. Don't vent your anger on him. You may not accept it because your hand was cut off last night, but don't take it out on Leon. Just expose that to me. Because I am heartless, you are becoming what you are now," Rafa replied with a dislike expression.

"Have it, don't talk about it anymore" Teddy said.

"So you're saying this because I lost my hand?" Kevin shook his head in disbelief. Rafa continues to defend Leon. That child is not who. "Why do you keep defending him?!"

"You started it when you blamed Leon!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH! WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO MY WORDS AND KEEP ON STORMING?!" Teddy said in a loud voice. He became very upset because his words were not heard.

Rafa and Kevin instantly fell silent after hearing the words that came out of Teddy's mouth. They are equally angry at each other.

Teddy sighed and calmed his mind for a moment, "So, you guys got into a fight because of that kid named Leon?"

Neither Kevin nor Rafa answered. They just lowered their heads with their own feelings of annoyance.

"Listening from your words, Leon is a found child with a state of memory loss. He has no place because he remembers nothing. Then before I came yesterday, Kevin said there was the same stranger who attacked you guys coming, is he the same person?" Teddy looked at Kevin with a question mark.

Kevin shook his head, "He's different. At first the man appeared suddenly at home. At that time the house was locked. When I came, he intended to leave. But I held it in, and then I collapsed in the end after hitting the table for it.

Before fainting, I heard Leon talk to the guy. Leon asked what the man wanted from him. It was certain that the thing he was after was Leon.

By the time I realized, the table was already in chaos. Then I should have gotten a wound on my body, but when I woke up there was only a scar of blood without a wound. Neither he nor Leon was there. At that moment, my uncle came.

When Rafa escorted uncle out, he suddenly reappeared and at that time I was in a foreign forest. In front of me was Leon. I was like a hostage and he hurt my neck. That guy forced something on Leon.

Return to the demon world and reclaim what belongs to him. That's what the stranger wanted. Leon refused. Then I went back home.

After my neck was treated by Rafa, I reappeared in the forest. Not long after that, Leon and I returned home. We were in Leon's room. That's what happened. At first I wanted to not tell it first. But after this incident, I finally chose to tell it. I'm sure what's happening now is because of Leon."
