Chapter 26 - Kevin Dies

Many times Teddy tried to convince Rafa to become a hunter like himself. However, the young man still rejected him.

"Huh.it seems like I came at an inappropriate time. Maybe I should have offered it to you when the time was right. Maybe next time you'll want to" Teddy said, standing up from his seat.

Rafa stood up. He scratched the back of his neck, "I'm sorry, I really can't do it."

"Well, okay, then I'll go. If you need my guidance, you can go see me. You know where I am. I'm sorry to interrupt your time, excuse me" Teddy said as he walked to the exit.

"I'll take you" said Rafa as he followed Teddy. He opened the door for her and drove her to the front of the house.

"How is this?! I made his desk smashed!" kevin murmured in panic. He looked around to make sure no glass was left behind.

"You're aware, apparently,"

Kevin stop. His body suddenly became silent when he heard that voice. He glanced beside her with a surprised expression. A young man who had already attacked him appeared there suddenly.

"What are you doing?" ask Need flatly.

Kevin stood up as he saw the young man coming. His expression turned to annoyance, "Why are you still here? Look what you did. Because of you, my friend's desk was destroyed. And now where's Leon? Where did you take him?!"

"You don't have to be angry like that. You should be thankful I didn't kill you. But this time, I don't guarantee you'll survive."

In an instant, the scene before them changed. The forest was lush with trees and the air was slightly cold as it was already afternoon.

Kevin was surprised after seeing the scene in front of him. He looked around to make sure what he saw was not wrong. But many times even seen, this scene remains the same and does not change.

Then his gaze suddenly drifted slightly down. He saw Leon standing while leaning against one of the trees. He came back surprised. How could Leon be here?!

Leon was actually surprised because Need brought the young man. However, he did not show his surprised expression.

"How can you and I be in–"

Kevin was shocked when a sharp object scratched the wound on his neck. Even his blood instantly dripped onto that sharp object. His eyes were flowing to the side. Need held a sword that had been pointed at him, as if ready to cut off his head.

Leon was surprised when Need suddenly held a sword. He doesn't know where he can get that, "What are you doing?"

Need flatly expressed, "I'm sorry if I've shown you my selfishness this time, but I really don't want you to make the wrong choice. I don't want your efforts to be in vain. Therefore, come back."

Leon looked at Need in annoyance, "Are you really on the other side and not on my side?"

"I've said it before. I can't see you getting punished. Wouldn't that be enough to explain if I didn't take orders from His Highness Stev?

It's a little pushy, but I want you to go back to the demon world and take back what's yours. Don't let them act as they please. If you refuse that, then I'll chop off his head" Need said expressionlessly.

"I said it, I don't want to. I don't want to do all the things I don't understand. Don't force me. So let him go" said Leon in annoyance.

"If it's your last decision, fine. Then killing him was my last decision" Need said.

Kevin was surprised to hear Need. Especially when the sword was pressed against his neck. He wanted to move to attack Need, but he could not move at all.

A head immediately severed, to splash blood where. The head rolled and hit Leon's leg.

Leon felt his heart stop beating and then beat fast. Kevin's eyes glared as if surprised. His gaze immediately led to him.

The surrounding view was like blurry. Only Kevin's head was clearly visible in his eyes.

Need looked at Leon expressionlessly. He hoped that in this way Leon would not refuse to go to the demon world and reclaim everything. This was indeed a rude way, but he did not know how much more to do.

Leon just kept looking at Kevin's head that was right under his feet. His feelings were so high that his eyes finally looked at Need. His heart was shaken when he saw that head.

"You.." The atmosphere around Leon suddenly changed. It was like there was such a powerful aura pressing down. Even Need felt it.

The young man felt depressed by the aura released by Leon. However, he could not lose with this aura. He had to make Leon want to take back what belonged to him. This was all he did so that Leon would not regret it later.

"Do you understand now? That's what happens when you reject it. People close to you will die" Need said. He tried to stabilize his tone so as not to tremble because of this pressure.

In Leon's eyes, it now only looks like Need. "You... Goddamnit.."

In the blink of an eye, Leon appeared right in front of Need and instantly swung his hand to strike a punch.

Fortunately, Need reacted quickly and held Leon's arm using his sword. But that's not enough to hold Leon. He was made to step back a few steps and create a line on the ground.

"He's very strong. But this has not reached its full strength. Can I hold it for a while?" inner Need.

Need is shocked when Leon suddenly disappears from his sight. He looked around vigilantly. I don't know where he's going to attack.

One of the trees there suddenly swayed vigorously and at the same time, Leon appeared in the direction there approaching Need. He kicks until the young man's body crashes into a tree.

The tree swayed and dropped the leaves that were still green. The sky is getting darker and the night is making the atmosphere darker. The air also became cold.

Need stood up immediately. He coughed a little because of the kick. He could see Leon moving forward. Leon lost his memory, but he could fight like this. Was it because he was angry at what he had done? If so, then he would have to lure him further. That way, maybe he can make Leon's memory recover a little.
