Chapter 17 - Weed's

Someone suddenly appeared in an empty building. He put the little boy he was carrying on a wooden box.

The boy was Leon. The man who helped him was Need, Stev's right-hand man.

Leon's forehead was sweating. He was in pain from the stab wound. If he dodged, there might not be such a situation.

"It looks like you really need him," the young man immediately walked into a corner of the room. He dragged someone behind him. He is Andre who is a friend of Misya. It is tied by a special rope and is not allowed to make any sound.

Andre who was tied up by Need had some injuries on his body. Even one of his legs was cut off so he wouldn't leave.

"You can finish him off" Need said, showing Leon the man.

Leon could smell the blood that was so alluring to his appetite. He slowly descended from the wooden box with an expression of enduring pain. Without aba, he immediately stuck his sharp nails in Andre's heart and pulled it out to make the man bark in pain. There was no sound coming out as his mouth was held back by the rope. However from his expression, it could be seen how much pain he was currently in.

The blood on the heart that Leon was holding dripped onto the floor. His dark red eyes were staring at the still beating heart. Without hesitation, he immediately ate it voraciously as if it was not something disgusting.

Need only noticed the corpse of the demon he had captured without mercy. What he did was not in vain.

The wound on Leon's body immediately recovered after he ate the heart. Even the hole in his body slowly closed. At that moment, the dizziness in his head disappeared. The heat he felt seemed to be cooled. He is now calmer than before.

Leon sat down at that moment. The nails in his hands shortened. His darkened pupils became brighter as usual.

Need looked glassy when he saw Leon after a long time did not meet. He wanted to hug her. But Leon will be angry if he bothers him when Leon has just finished eating, "How are you doing now?"

Leon raised his face after a long moment of silence. He saw the face of a young man with old ash-colored eyes with a small mole in the middle of his nose. The young man looked very happy when he saw her. However, he did not remember the identity of that person.

His view shifted downwards. An extremely horrifying sight was now plastered before his eyes. A corpse with holes in its chest and legs cut off. Looking at the condition of his body, it seemed like that fellow had just experienced violence.

His attention was now fixed on the horn on Andre's head. It was a creature that had once attacked him and almost made him die. He turned his body back with the help of his hands.

Need expression astonished when he saw the movement of Leon. He tried to talk to her, "You why? Is something bothering you?"

At once Leon's attention was on Need. He looked at her with a suspicious look, at once agitated. There was a corpse in front of him and there was a person standing near the corpse. He immediately concludes that Need killed him. But seeing the demon tied up, made him think that Need had tortured Andre until he died in a terrible state.

But why would he be here? Previously he just wanted to walk his way and breathe fresh air. But he was instead in this place along with a corpse and a murderer.

Need approached Leon. But the boy immediately stood up and walked back while continuing to watch himself, "Don't come any closer."

"Yes?" Need raised next to his eyebrows. Looks like Leon is trying to joke with him. Maybe he wants to play a part in the story.

Need smiled cynically. He will follow this play. He walked over quickly to Leon, "What if I don't want to obey what you say?"

Need stopped for a moment. He tilted his head, "Are you scared? Do you want to run? You think I'm gonna let you do that?"

Leon ran to the right side to get away from Need. He doesn't know where the exit is. But he'll find her soon and get out of here. He did not want to suffer the same fate as the creature that had attacked him.

"Hahaha, you want to run?" Need stood in front of Leon suddenly to the surprise of the boy.

Leon ran to the other side. But Need appeared in front of him. He's getting restless. Every time he changes direction, Need appears in front of him again and again.

Leon was eventually cornered in a corner of the room. For the first time, he felt a little scared. He did not want to experience what had happened like before.

At the sight of Leon's expression, Need immediately laughed to the point of creating an echo, "Hahaha, the role you're doing is incredible. Looks like you can perform in a theater now, hahaha..."

Leon did not understand what Need was saying, but hearing him laugh like that made him think that the young man must have been planning something to kill him.

"Huh.had it, let's stop this drama. I really miss you."

When Need was about to do a hug attack, Leon immediately dodged until finally Need's head hit the wall hard, "Sshh. sick.."

He turned his body and looked at Leon. He was a little disappointed, "You always avoid. But I can definitely catch you now."

Need, who kept on approaching Leon, made Leon feel afraid. He thinks Need didn't kill Andre enough and still wants to kill. He kept trying to run away from Need and went down the stairs. He had a little difficulty because of the absence of lighting on the stairs. But he did not want to get caught by the young man.

Andre's dead body is now turned into a crystal fragment with the size of an adult fist in navy blue. The corpse had indeed turned into a crystal, but the traces of blood on the floor did not disappear and still remained.

That is what happened to the demons that died in the human world. Their bodies will decay in less than an hour and will turn into crystal shards that can be sold at a high price depending on color and size. The more dense the color, the more expensive the price.

Leon finally made it out of the empty building. He was now running on a deserted street with a little house. Occasionally his eyes continued to look back to confirm Need's whereabouts, but the young man was no longer there. Leon paused for a moment. He kept his breathing slow.

"Actually.. What happened? Why would I be here? And who is he?" murmured with breath gasping.

As he was about to put his hair aside, he only realized something. His hands were covered with blood. He's surprised. His eyes were trembling with a disturbing feeling.

He immediately slid his hand against a large tree nearby. He kept trying to clean it up, but it was quite difficult. He needs water. Due to the absence of water, he was forced to wipe his hands against the tree hard to make his palms blister.

"Hi, are you done?"

Leon was so shocked that Need emerged from behind the tree like a ghost waiting for him. His steps immediately retreated backwards, "Don't come any closer. Don't come any closer!"

His feet accidentally stepped on the stone until his body fell. Meanwhile, Need is getting closer to him. He closed his eyes as Need's hands began to approach him.
