Chapter 18 - Weed 2

"Where exactly is he? How could he disappear?" said Rafa. He had previously woken up and did not see Leon's presence. He searched all over the room, but could not find it. He went to look for her with Kevin.

"I slept on the sofa by the door, but I heard no open door. Nor did he tell me where he was going. It seems, he tried to run away quietly without us knowing it" said Kevin, shaking his head.

Hearing Kevin's words, makes Rafa think that Leon is running away. He has an estimate, Leon goes to look for Nevan. Because Nevan left by arriving without saying anything to Leon, making the boy look for him. They are very close anyway.

However, he is not sure about that. If Leon wanted to see Nevan, Leon should have told him that. If he's looking for it himself, he won't be able to find Nevan. Because of that, he has other estimates.

Leon is trying to find both of his parents because he misses him. The child does not always show expression, but it could be that in the bottom of his heart, he really misses the presence of parents. He may also want to find his true identity and immediately remember memories that have happened before.

Despite having such an estimate, he still did not know Leon's true purpose. And whatever the purpose of going out silent, it worries him. Leon's still sick. The heat hasn't come down yet, but he's gone like this. He must find her immediately.

"We just split up, that way, we'll find it sooner. You go right, I go left" said Rafa.

Nevan agreed. He immediately turned to the right. As for Rafa, he turned left.

Need pulls both of Leon's arms. Both of the boy's palms were reddened and injured. His face was instantly irritated, "Don't hurt your own hands. Even small wounds like this can heal quickly, but do not hurt yourself. I don't like."

Leon immediately opened his eyes. He blinked a few times. Did he not hear wrong? What does his word mean? Did the young man want to torture him with a clean body without injuries? And not satisfied if he is hurt which is not caused by him?

When thinking about that reason, it made Leon even more afraid. He pulled out his two hands that were starting to heal thanks to the regeneration of his body, "Don't be like that."

Need grew suspicious of Leon's movements. He believes the boy is Leon. It is impossible to recognize him wrongly. Even though Leon disguised himself as a human child, he must have recognized him clearly. It could be said that he was Leon's maniac. He likes his nature, what he does, how he eats, his eyes, his voice, his cruel nature, everything from himself. It's impossible that he's mistakenly recognized anyone as Leon.

"What really happened to you?" ask Need with worry.

Leon doesn't care about Need's words. He just wanted to get away from the killer. He gripped the sand nearby and immediately threw it at Need.

"Akh," Need was in pain as his eyes twinkled. He blinked many times and tried to bring out the sand that entered his eyes.

At that moment, Leon immediately stood up and ran away from Need. He wants to go home to a safe place.

Need who had already let out the sand in his eyes only noticed Leon who was running away from him. He did not pursue it and chose to investigate the situation. He has a bad feeling about this.

Leon ran while occasionally glancing backwards. He also looked around him vigilantly. The young man who was chasing him could appear at any time and anywhere without him guessing at all. Somehow he can do it, but he doesn't care. As long as it could be far away from him, he could calm down.

He who is too focused with behind him accidentally hit someone to make himself back a few steps back.

Leon stroked his head that had just hit. He immediately looked up when he heard the voice of a stranger. He saw a purple-eyed young man standing in front of him with a worried look.

"Ra–"

Rafa immediately knelt down in front of Leon. He held both shoulders and observed Leon's entire body. He's worried about the kid getting hurt, "You're not hurt, are you? How are you doing? Are you still dizzy? Do you want me to check you out at the clinic?"

Leon shook his head, "I'm fine."

Rafa breathed heavily. Leon was not hurt. He flicked at Leon's forehead with an annoyed expression, "Why did you go all the way? Do you want to run away from home? What the hell are you thinking? You haven't healed yet, but instead go out silent."

Leon was silent to Rafa's words. The young man looked more like a parent who worried about his son, "Sorry.."

"Well.where are you actually going? You didn't even say anything to me. If you want to meet Nev, tell me that. You won't be able to find him alone. Then if you want to meet your parents, tell me that too. I will definitely help you. Although it can not help much, at least I can ease your problems," said Rafa at length.

"I just want to walk for a while. Sorry for going silent" Leon lowered his head, like a child who had realized his mistake.

Rafa sighed while shaking his head. He touched Leon's head, "Have it, if you're really sorry, don't repeat it and worry me. Next time tell me if you want to go out."

Leon nodded with his head still down.

"Now how do you feel? Do you still feel bad?" rafa asked as he touched the boy's forehead.

"I'm better."

"The heat has gone down. His face was not as pale as before. His body was very hot. But it's good that he's healed," Rafa's mind.

Behind the building near the place, Need appears to be clenching his arms with bluffing teeth. He is very envious of Rafa because the young man can touch Leon. He never touched her. Except when he tried to help Leon earlier, "Actually who is he?!" he muttered in annoyance.

As he watched the two, Rafa suddenly looked towards where he was standing. He immediately hid himself so as not to be found out. He would follow Leon quietly and find out what happened.

"What's wrong?" confused Leon.

Rafa felt like he was being noticed by someone. Moreover, it was like there was a negative aura on him. He looked at Leon and shook his head, "Nothing. Maybe I just saw it wrong 'cause it's a little dark in here. We better go home now, okay?"

Leon nodded and walked beside Rafa. He felt safe when Rafa was next to him. He also did not feel any sign of the killer's presence anymore. It looks like he's gone missing. That's how he thinks.

However, Need still continued to follow him quietly.
