Chapter 20 - Need And Leon

Leon freezes on the spot when he sees Need near the bloodstained Kevin. His gaze was not distracted from Kevin's current state.

Kevin is not waking up from his current position. He kept lying on his stomach for a long time. This made Leon think negatively.

Although he was scared when he saw Need, he could not let Kevin continue to be near the young man. He ventured by going down. Mind fucked. He doesn't know what to do now. If he can keep Kevin away from Need, then what? What should he do after?

Leon was stunned when he heard the words and Need's changed attitude. He doesn't look like a killer now. He was more like the one who led many armies. His vibrancy was out until it made him a little amazed.

"I don't know if I should believe you or not, but you've hurt the people closest to me" Leon walks into the kitchen, leaving Need in the same position. He's gonna bring Kevin a medicine box. He was sure the young man was not dead. He can't be dead.

After Leon returned from the kitchen to bring the medicine box, Need stood up straight again. Although hesitant, Leon ventured to approach Kevin. "I don't have any reason to help him. But for sure, he helped me to the point of getting hurt. Then he got hurt like this because of me" Leon said.

"Why are you blaming yourself?!" Need felt clueless with Leon's thoughts right now. He was completely different from the Leon he had known.

"You're here, maybe because you're after me. Then in that case, you hurt him. So I'm the one responsible" Leon replied as he continued to treat.

Need's explanation doesn't make Leon really calm. Because Need didn't explain her dealings with her.

"It looks like we have to restore your memory immediately in any way" Need said.

"Why do you want to do it? What's your relationship with me? Is a killer after his prey by pretending to want to help?" leon said cynically.

"Huh..?! Of course not! What the hell are you saying? I just want to restore your memories, so you can remember who I am and face them. If they manage to capture you and bring you to the demon world, then the punishment will be determined immediately to you. I don't want that to happen.
