Chapter 41 - Separation

Not immediately making a sound, Rafa noticed what Leon was doing. The boy touched Kevin's previously cut left arm. Then slowly, flesh began to grow out of that hand to tear the bandage wrapped around Kevin's hand.

Rafa opened his mouth in disbelief. He continued to watch it until Kevin's hands really came back as if nothing had ever happened to him.

Leon smiled faintly as he managed to do so. At first, he did not believe he could return a severed hand. But after succeeding, he felt happy and there was a satisfaction of his own. In this way, Kevin will have no trouble in the future.

"Leon.."

Leon froze in place. That's Rafa's voice. He turned his body towards the sofa where Rafa was. The young man stood there with a look of disbelief. He doesn't realize when Rafa wakes up.

"Leon... What the hell did you just do? How could... Am I dreaming? Leon, how can you do something like that?" said Rafa. Even though he saw it with his own eyes, he could not believe it. What happens is impossible things that cannot be done. "Actually who are you? How could you do that?"

Leon looked the other way. He could not look at Rafa. What Kevin said earlier was right. It puts them in danger. Being close to them would only drag the two in danger.

"Sorry.. Because of me you're like this" Leon said in a soft voice.

"No, why are you blaming yourself?" rafa asked confusedly. After saying that, he realized something. His left arm doesn't hurt anymore. His other body was no longer painful.

"Leon.. Did you make my hand heal?"

Leon nodded slowly, "That's my apology to you. After this, I won't bother you anymore. I'm not gonna drag you guys into my trouble."

"Eh? Huh huh? Whatchu mean?" Rafa is further confused by Leon's remarks. His words are incomprehensible.

"A raid on your house.. It's because of me. He's looking for me until he gets you hurt. I can't keep going with you or Kevin. Because if you're with you, then you're gonna get hurt like this. Someone like that will come looking for me again. Before they find me, I'd better get away from you so you don't get involved" Leon lowered his head.

"Don't blame yourself. This must be just a misunderstanding," Rafa tries to calm the mind of Leon who now intends to leave. He was trying to prevent it.

Leon clenched his hand, "It's not a misunderstanding!"

Rafa was a little surprised to the point of not being able to say anything as Leon spoke in a jolting tone. It was the first time it was like this.

Leon looked at Rafa seriously, "I'm not misunderstanding the incident. I know you've been attacked even though you didn't see me watching it. But I know, the person who attacked you guys is not human. He is the demon lord.

Knowing I was in your house, he attacked and wanted to take me. He has a mission to take me to the demon world to give me punishment. You should know, he's not the only one looking for me. But there are still others who are just as strong as that person looking for me.

If I'm still with you, then I'll just get you into danger." Leon was silent for a moment and noticed Rafa's expression that looked unfavorable.

After that, he began to continue, "You should know one thing as well. I am not a human being, I am a demon. We're different. You don't have to help a demon like me. Because I'm the same as the demon who just attacked you, "the more you see, Rafa's expression is getting no better. Even so, he still continued his words.

Leon walked up to the door without looking at Rafa's face again. But Rafa held his arm as if he would not let her go.

"I don't want to go. But I have to go. If not, you'll be dragged along. I will also return to the demon world and take back what should be mine. That's why we'll never see each other again" Leon said without looking at Rafa.

Now Rafa doesn't hold Leon back at all and just watches him leave. He was still shocked and afraid to see that look.

After closing the door, Leon went towards the dark and quiet passageway. He met someone there, "You should have found me sooner when I was looking for this hospital."

"I'm sorry" Need said, looking down and regretting.

"I'm ready now. I'm gonna make a calculation on Flynn, the demon who attacked them."

Need raised his head. He was frozen silent. Leon's gaze was so cold. He was made to shiver when he saw it. But there was a feeling of pleasure flowing in his body. She missed that look so much and it excited her, "You've made a mistake for challenging her, Flynn," inwardly.

"In that case, we'll leave now" Need said. In the blink of an eye, they instantly disappeared.

A girl preparing for school dropped the bag she was holding. Looking at the identity and photos of the victim shown in the news, it was really his father.

Unknowingly, Katly's tears immediately fell down her cheeks. "Dad." his body and voice were shaking. His legs felt weak until he finally sat on the floor.

He closed his mouth in disbelief. Though yesterday morning his father had just said he would come home late because of the work that piled up. But what is this?! Why did he hear the news of his death?!
