Blizt 'N Demon

Blizt 'N Demon
Chapter 119 - Oliver And Mixed Blood

"Come here, don't hide there like that,"

The words arrived that Kite did made Leon stunned. So did Nevan, Radolf and Melvin. Everyone looked towards Kite's gaze that was pointing towards a tree. Before long, someone came out from back there.

"Ken?" Leon frowned when he knew who Kite meant. Though he had told the young man to take care of Kay and Felix alone, but it turns out he even followed here without him even realizing his presence.

Ken scratched his cheek that was not itchy. He nodded as Leon stared at him with a darkened look on his face, "A-anu.. That's... I want to take care of Leon, so... I'm coming here."

Nevan's anger, which had previously peaked due to bad allegations about Kite, has now eased slightly. But seeing someone come here quietly made him upset again, "Didn't you not have been told to come?! You shouldn't have come along and kept quiet listening to the conversation!"

Ken becomes upset when Nevan snapped when Leon was here, "Why then? That's my business! Anyway, I'm here to look after Leon."

"Ken's.."

The voice that sounded so deep and stifled it made Ken instantly speechless. He was confused as to how to take Leon's eyes off of him. But the idea came to make it change the conversation,

"You guys were saying about Oliver? I know a little about him. Because he was so striking with the color of his eyes, as well as his strength, it immediately attracted me. So I'm just kind of looking into it to get rid of the boredom."

Leon now neutralized his expression. As Ken got closer, he opened his voice, "Is that true?"

Ken nodded for sure. In his heart he breathed a sigh of relief because Leon did not continue the matter, "I know a few things. Back then, before the great war against Osmond thousands of years ago, Oliver still had an older brother.

His life was so peaceful even though his life was not luxurious. He was quite small then, probably about the same age as Leon, but a little younger. At that time, he was feared by many demons."

Leon frowned faintly, "Why?"

Although there were still emotions overflowing from within him, Nevan had no intention of cutting. He prefers to listen to the information being conveyed.

"Because he's different from other demons. Since childhood, he has had tremendous power. His energy was overflowing and the aura he had could make the demons around him depressed. Since he had not been able to suppress his aura, he had always been shunned by other demons that were the same age and older than him–"

"That's not important. Just say something important" cut off Radolf who was feeling uneasy. According to him, the part Ken is telling is unnecessary in knowing how Oliver's strength or something related to the great war.

Ken clicked his tongue with a dislike look, "If you don't want to hear it, cover your ears! I'll tell the people who just want to know!"

"Already, go on," cut Leon.

Ken cleared his throat and interrupted a sneaky glance at Radolf before finally continuing, "All the demons around him hate him. But they were actually just afraid of him. They started to hurt him. Either the same age or older than him.

But his parents always protect and believe that Oliver's existence is for good and to protect many people, including humans."

"Wait, man? Why humans too?" cut Leon.

"Because back then, humans and demons were on good terms. How do you think there are humans who are more special than other humans and have power?" it was not Ken who answered, it was Kite.

Radolf gasped at the words. He thought of something that didn't make sense, "You mean.."

"Yes, long ago, many demons and humans were in a relationship until they had children. It was their son who is now called blizt."

"Huh? Waitaminute! What's?" Nevan was shocked to hear that. He looked at his father with a question mark, "With Father and Mother, who is the devil?"

"No way! Humans and demons have a relationship? That can't be happening! After all, between my parents or my wife's parents, there's no devil! They're human and blizt!" sergeant Melvin is not accepting.

"Among you, there may indeed be none from the demon race. But grandma grandpa? Buyut? Previous person? Among them there are those who are related to the devil until the birth of half-demon and half-human children. Then the child married and came into contact with another human or demon.

You can still get this kind of ability even though people who are related to demons have happened for a long time, including humans who still get some of the demon's blood" said Kite. "Then, you're not as strong as the previous blizt."

Melvin shook his head, "No way. How to explain about the half-demon child and the blizt can only last at most 18 years? As for myself, it can still survive even now."

The potential of blizt can bring out an ability is indeed very large than the devil in general who must become very strong above average can only get the ability. That's one of the perks that Blizt has."

Melvin was silent about the explanation. Reality is very different from book explanations.

Nevan already knows the truth about the age of half an ibliz and blizt. But there was one thing that stuck in his heart, "Then what about the child with the mixture of demons and blizt who has the destiny to become the ruler in these two races? Is that not true either?"

Kite was silent for a moment hearing the strange question, "Of course not. If it could, there might already be a lot of mixed blood being the ruler here."

"What about the absolute power of influence that half demon and half blizt children have is also not true information? What about the humans who are in a relationship with the demons will die? Is that true? Or wrong?" asked Nevan in succession.

Kite scratched his non-itchy cheek with his index finger, "Why is your question all weird? How did you know about that?"

"From the book" answered Nevan plainly.

"Wrong! Don't believe fake news like that!" snapped Kite with an arrival.

His voice that arrived suddenly loud made Nevan aghast in shock.

"If the devil and man are related to make man die, then there will always be many mass deaths. Then absolute influence? What'sthat?" Kite grimaced amusedly hearing it.

"....There's no such thing. The ability that mixed blood has is just like you. But if his parents are of blizt descent and then marry a demon, then the demon blood that their child has will increase, the energy will also increase."

"That means aunt..," Nevan muttered to himself while thinking about Kite's words.

Not only Nevan, but Melvin and Radolf thought about it. So all this time they've been wrong? Thinking of the death of Meyra because she gave birth to a half-demon child, but actually because she was the one who was destined to die after giving birth without any demonic elements at all?

Radolf looked at his brother-in-law. He wanted to see how he reacted. After hearing that explanation, perhaps her brother-in-law would change and be willing to accept her presence.

But Melvin wasn't looking at Radolf at all. He is busy struggling with his own thoughts and does not want to deal with Radolf.

"Can I continue the story?" said Ken with a flat look. Somehow the conversation arrived just turned in the wrong direction.

Leon nodded towards Ken. But before the young man with white hair spoke, Kite cut him off, "Let me just tell you the story. Because I experienced it myself. If told by you, it's like hearing a fairy tale."

Ken blinked, "You mean?"

Kite tilted his head in disbelief, "Why? What's up?"

"'I experienced it myself.' You mean you are..," Ken covered his mouth with two hands.

"Are you actually listening to this conversation or not?" Leon said in surprise. "He's already said his real name is Oliver."

"Huh?! Really true?! I didn't hear him say anything about his real name! Well, amazingly, it feels like I'm dismantling my disgrace to find out about him" Ken choked.

Kite smiled faintly and shook his head, "So where?"

"His parents said that he could be a protector to demons and humans," Ken corrected.

Kite took his breath and exhaled slowly. His eyes closed for a moment. Just about to speak, Leon had already opened his voice first, "You said the color of his eyes was so striking that you were immediately attracted to him. But his eyes, did not look any different compared to the others. It's black, the color of most demons and humans."

"I hid it so it didn't look flashy. I can be recognized by people as Oliver, too" replied Kite who had opened his eyes.

Leon looked at him and fell silent. The eye color that was originally only black is now changed to golden yellow with the shape of the leaves. It was like seeing leaves falling in the autumn afternoon, that was what he saw when he looked into Kite's eyes. He had just seen his eyes that beautiful and unique. Just looking at it can give you a sense of calm. It is fitting that Ken is interested in finding out about Kite or his real name Oliver.
