🍁Love is difficult to understand, just by holding his hand alone the heart can jump uncontrollably.🍁

Hara

Because of chasing Jenar, I left the groceries just like that. Just remember after successfully bringing Jenar to the car. Didn't even get to say anything to Cecilia earlier. Luckily my cousin's sister followed by bringing me things, so I didn't have to go back to the food court to pick them up. Cecilia always knew what she had to do to help me.

I got in the car after making sure all the items were neatly arranged in the trunk and no one was left behind. From the corner of the eye, I saw Jenar turn her face by occasionally using the tip of the hijab to wipe her eyes. He also heard her shrinking her nose, then her fingers squeezing each other if the situation was not okay.

Is Jenar crying? Why is she crying? What exactly happened to him? Who was he meeting with during the prayer? Did something happen at the Musola mall? The question kept spinning in my mind, but I couldn't explain it. Silence was the best option, letting Jenar sink into her own thoughts, until she could calm herself down.

All the way we went in silence, as usual. This time, however, it felt very bland. When not a word came out of Jenar's mouth and I had trouble opening the conversation. The car audio that I accidentally did not play, added to the silence of the atmosphere. Contrast with the condition of the highway which is quite crowded this afternoon.

Several times I glanced to the left side, scanning the condition of Jenar. It seemed that he had stopped crying, though he was still fervently staring at the side window and was reluctant to change position. It seemed that he had calmed down a little, because his fingers were no longer squeezing each other. Now he seems to be counting his own fingers. Maybe that's how you calm down.

It felt like taking that palm, holding it, then asking, ‘What wrong with you? Please tell me.’ Of course I immediately banished those strange thoughts from the brain, before venturing too wildly.

A yellowish tinge was seen in the sky, a sign of twilight had arrived. Slowly, but surely the sun dimmed along with a strong wind blowing dry leaves. Highways are crowded smoothly with vehicles racing against each other, hunting with time.

The traffic light was red, I took off the gas pedal and deepened the brake pedal. Looking left and right, two and four-wheeled vehicles stopped to comply with traffic regulations. Long enough to wait, making my mind just float away.

A few more meters will pass through the monument goodbye to Yogyakarta, meaning it will enter the Magelang area. Are we going to keep quiet like this until we get home? What about the questions that keep spinning in your mind? Will it still not be answered?

Nah! I need to know what happened to Jenar.

An idea comes to mind, coinciding with the deafening sound of the night bus horn. I turned my head for a moment to the left, before running the car, following the pace of the vehicle in front.

“Aduh!” I groaned while holding my stomach with one hand, while the other hand held the wheel.

Five seconds I waited, no reaction from Jenar. I lowered the speed of the vehicle, then extended my left hand to open the dash board.

“Argghh!” I was a little tight to attract the attention of Jenar.

From the tail of my eyes I could see, Jenar turned. I fired up the drama by ripping apart the isidash board, causing some papers to scatter. I pretended to groan with my hands reaching for anything, like I was looking for something.

“Pak Hara find what?” ask Jenar a few seconds later.

I didn't answer, just kept whimpering with my left hand holding my stomach. I intentionally left the dashboard open with all the contents out.

“You can drive, can't you? Can you replace me? Looks like I am not strong.” I said softly with a vibrating tone that of course made-up.

“Pak Hara why?” asked Jenar with a frown. Looks like I managed to attract her attention, just need more melancholy drama again to make her panic.

“My stomach hurts once ... ouch!” I looked down, then looked up. Pretending to try to hold back the pain while focusing the concentration of driving.

“Ya Alloh, Sir! Move away first, what? Stop right there!” Jenar held my shoulders and arms, then pointed in the original direction.

I observed the right and left rearviews, ensuring safe conditions to pull over. I stopped the car on the shoulder of a deserted road without turning off the engine. In a hurry I removed my seat belt and moved to the back. Like someone who couldn't stand the pain, I lay in the back seat with my hands on my stomach.

I'm sure Jenar must be panicking. With my eyes half closed, I scanned it. He rushes out of the car, somewhere to go. I looked out the window, he was running, maybe looking for help. I could not help but smile amusedly, this amateur charade has managed to fool Jenar.

Out of curiosity I continued to observe the direction Jenar was going. Not long after, the girl came out of the tent stall, not far from where the car stopped. I estimate the pace and distance, he'll be in the car soon. Immediately I lay down again, using my arms to close my eyes, while one hand squeezed my stomach. This show should continue, until I can fully get the attention of Jenar.

The sound of the car door opening from outside, Jenar entered and took a seat next to my feet. The place was narrow, making our distance very close, I could even hear the sound of her breathing roar hunting. In my heart I apologize for panicking with this pretense.

“Can you wake up, sir? I bring hot sweet tea to mr.” said Jenar softly.

I put away my arms, while grimacing pretending to be heavy opened my eyes.

“What is it?” tanyaku pointed to the drink in the plastic that Jenar was carrying.

“It's hot sweet tea, goodies times can relieve upset stomach.” replied Jenar.

“It can be drunk? Isn't it unhygienic and healthy?” tanyaku doubt after seeing the dewy plastic, surely because the tea in it is still very hot.

“Drink only, no need to think this is hygienic or not!” ketus Jenar's.

I glanced at the tea, still reluctant to drink. Imagine the taste of hot tea in plastic with a green straw. That's plastic and straws may be recycled scrap. The hot tea in it must have been contaminated with harmful chemicals from the plastic and straws. If I drink, it could be that these harmful substances get into the body, right?

“I help Mr. Hara sit down, let's not choke.” I still haven't finished thinking, when suddenly Jenar slips her arm around my neck.

Inevitably, I also straightened up. In a position like this, Jenar and I were only a short distance away. I faintly smell a fragrance I know very well. The smell of the flowers is not very pungent, but very pleasant.

“Drink, Sir. Let her stomach get anget.” Jenar held out tea in plastic to me.

I had to take a sip of the unhealthy drink, as Jenar kept staring intently and held the straw to keep it in place.

“Slow-slow, hot!” exclamation Jenar.

I drank slowly, but still the tea was still very hot it was burning tongue. However, after passing through the throat and up to the stomach the feeling of warmth is very soothing. Coupled with seeing the smile of Jenar, it feels so much sweeter.

“Highs, Sir! Drink it slowly, while lying down can also.” The genar moves my hand to hold the plastic.

Then he took something from his bag, while I lay back with an occasional drink of tea that turned out to taste quite good.

“What do you want?” reflexively I got up and held the hand of Jenar who was about to reveal my shirt.

Jenar took a breath while throwing my hand, “Say my father is sick, I want to help you with medicine.”

“What medicine? Do you know what I am sick with?” I was a little hesitant, worried that my pretenses were discovered.

Jenar again exhaled before asking in a keto tone, “From earlier Pak Hara groaned while holding her stomach. Is Mr Hara having a toothache or a headache?”

I almost laughed at the answer, but it turns out that Jenar can be funny too. This girl is so unique and interesting.

“Loze again, Sir. Difficult this olesin if you sit so.” command Jenar while showing a small bottle.

I lay down slowly, without removing my eyes from looking at the girl's face. Jenar seemed calm, not panicking as I imagined. Although there was still a little sadness in his eyes. Now it is precisely the rhythm of my heartbeat that turns irregular, just because it sees this sweet face with a distance that is too close.

I closed my eyes, feeling the palm of Jenar rubbing eucalyptus oil on my stomach. The combination of hot tea I drink and eucalyptus oil on the surface of the stomach, feels warm spread throughout the body. I opened my eyes slowly, observing again the face of Jenar who still remained calm. Did he not realize that the touch of his hand had made my heart flutter?

There was the sound of the bottle being closed, my reflex holding the hand of Jenar who was fixing my shirt. I gently held the hand as smooth as silk, then rubbed it a few times.

I held her hand, for Jenar was about to withdraw her hand. In my heart I cursed, even just holding his hand had managed to make my chest beat and heart beat more and more lost rhythm. Damnit damnit! This was the first time I felt the touch of a sincere girl, but it actually managed to pick up the strange taste buds from within.

“I just want to make sure, your hand, that eucalyptus oil or this hot tea that keeps my stomach warm. Until the pain is gone, it is not felt at all.” I said while looking straight at the bowed face of Jenar.

“Your hand is very smooth, this is the first time I hold a very delicate female hand.” I said honestly.

My gaze went from the face to the hands of Jenar. A glance looks a reddish mark on his wrist. Could it be because I pulled him too rough in the mall? Uh! She must be in pain.

I gently rubbed the reddish marks, guilt runs through the heart. Had I not been ignited by that emotion, I would not have held the hand of Jenar too firmly.

“Surely it hurts, huh? Forgive me...,” I said sincerely.

Jenar shook her head quickly, again trying to pull out a hand. Really, I don't want what's been in my grasp, to come off. However, seeing the change of Jenar's face, made me want to not have to relax my grip.

“If Mr. Hara is better, I should get out!” cetus Jenar, withdrawing his hand. Without waiting for my answer, he came out and closed the door violently.

I smiled a little, staring at the empty hand that actually did not want to take off the grip. I slowly got up from lying down. The image of Jenar, which appeared from behind the car window, made my smile wider.

‘Crazy, what did I do earlier? Am I seducing a snot? Really doesn't make sense.’

The piece of events that had just happened revolved around the head. Remembering it, suddenly my stomach felt strange and my chest was pounding. My hair was standing without excuse, making me reflect rubbed the nape.

The jenar! The snot kid that made me almost crazy. What am I supposed to do now? Pretending to still be sick, or ending the charade? What if she doesn't pay attention because she knows I'm just pretending to be sick? I don't want to lose the attention of this girl. Should I go out and tell her that my pain has not gone away, so she can treat me again?
