Edgar laughed softly at Arumi's speech. That was what made him so infatuated with the girl with those dimples.
For Edgar, Arumi is a very charming girl with an attitude, appearance, and style of speech that is always what it is. Although sometimes painful, but Arumi is not among those who like to pretend and always want to look good.
"This is what makes me miss you all the time" said the man with the black blazer. While Arumi behaves increasingly indifferent to him.
"Ah ... one more, Arum. I heard your sister's wife just gave birth. What if you accompany me in search of a gift? I happen to be in Indonesia, so it doesn't feel good if I don't look at it" Edgar said.
"You can buy it yourself without my company," Arumi refused.
Edgar laughed again. "Come, Arum! A woman would certainly be much more aware of what gifts are suitable" Edgar persuaded. He hopes that Arumi will be ready to go with him.
"Again .. I see you are much thinner than before. Maybe you're too tired and rarely entertain yourself" Edgar is a man who is good at talking. His words always sounded sweet and perfectly matched his face.
Arumi took a long breath. He then rubbed his forehead. What Edgar said is true. After all the things that happened to him, he had very rarely gone outside even just to wash his eyes.
"Tomorrow I have no show at all" Edgar said. "Can you accompany me?" Ask Edgar expectantly.
"No!" Replied Arumi firmly.
Edgar nodded his head. He can understand Arumi's rejection.
"I'm busy" Arumi said. He drove Edgar away gently. The man smiled in response to Arumi's attitude towards him. He does not have to feel hurt, because it is a normal thing for him.
"Alright, Arum. I don't want to upset you more" Edgar said calmly. "This is for you," he then handed out the paper bag that he had previously held.
"What's this?" Ask Arumi while receiving the paper bag that Edgar handed to her.
"It's nothing. It's just some memories from Paris, maybe you'll like it" Edgar replied. "Bye, Arum," Edgar turned his body and passed from before Arumi. The man stepped out in his walking manner like a model on the catwalk.
With a pushy look, Arumi accompanied the handsome man's departure, even until Edgar passed through a wide-open glass door and disappeared behind it.
Arumi then glanced at the paper bag she was holding. He had no idea what Edgar had brought for him from Paris. Actually he also did not care much, what else should be flattered. Not at all.
Back in the kitchen, Arumi placed the paper bag on the table. He still has to finish his pending work. An old friend of his, had ordered fifty jars of cookies to him. While Arumi only completed half of the order.
So too with Moedya. The man always busied himself in the workshop. From morning until evening, he continued to struggle with his work. If he did not remember Ranum who was sick at that time, he would have been in his workshop until late at night.
That afternoon Moedya was ready to go home. He is very worried about the condition of Ranum who has not yet recovered. Although it had hired someone to take care of him, but it did not make Moedya immediately hands off.
"Mom want me to buy you something?" Asked Moedya by phone.
"Buy an apple. Remember to choose the good ones!" Ranum's Message. Although he was sick, but his firm attitude still did not disappear.
Moedya laughed softly. This is what she will always miss from her mother. His style of speech is firm and always what it is. Something that always reminds him of someone he left behind.
Moedya ended her conversation with Ranum. He then grabbed his jacket and helmet. Until now, the man still enjoys the streets of the city with his motorcycle. I don't know why he wasn't interested in a car.
The sky that was already very thick. Darkness enveloped the day and it seemed like it was going to rain soon. Moedya had to hurry if she did not want to be restrained in the middle of the journey.
After closing the workshop, he immediately left the place. Racing his beloved retro motorbike at a fairly high speed, Moedya hopes to get home soon. However, before that he had to stop by his subscription fruit stall to buy Ranum's ordered fruit.
"Pick the good one! You know my mom is very chatty. He wouldn't stop tweeting if there was even a slight flaw. Yesterday also I was being rumored continuously just because the apple stalk was broken," Moedya told the fruit seller who was a young man she already knew. He complains of Ranum's overly perfectionist attitude.
"Ready, Boss!" Reply to the young man with the white-striped blue apron. He immediately chose some apples for Moedya.
While waiting, Moedya stood in front of the fruit stall. His gaze continued there and there, watching the passing vehicle on the front road of the stall. Occasionally, he also noticed pedestrians on the sidewalk.
What a boring sight for him. He also intends to return to the stall. However, accidentally the look in his eyes caught the look of a beautiful face that was walking alone. Moedya also abandoned her intentions.
His gaze continued to be presented to the beautiful girl with her 7/9 jeans. The girl who was walking very quietly and seemed to not care even though it was the moment the specks of rain started to fall and suddenly became heavy. The girl who was none other than Arumi, immediately ran to find a place to shelter. He was standing in front of a closed shop.
Moedya continued to stare at him, even though Arumi was unaware of it. The girl just stood staring at the swift rain falling among the few people who were also sheltering there.
Either the game of fate or what it's called, but it's something extraordinary. Moedya does not understand why she must be reunited with her old love.
Moedya then reached into the phone from inside her jacket. He then typed in a message that he immediately sent to the girl across the street.
Arumi's daydream instantly collapsed when she felt her phone vibrate. He immediately reached into his bag and took the item, and examined it. Instantly his brows furrowed A message came in from an unknown number.
