Arumi looked at that masculine face. The face has not changed much since three years ago. A face with some acne scars and a thin beard that adorns it.
"Wear it!" Moedya still thrust the jacket at Arumi, while the girl just stood up and glued to her gaze. He did not know that Moedya was there too.
"Thank you" said Arumi, accepting the jacket. He wrapped the jacket without putting it in. A moment later, Moedya invited him to sit at a table.
Arumi did not know what the man meant by taking her to sit down together, while enjoying a cup of hot coffee. He didn't want to play guessing, of course. Arumi was afraid if she was wrong in answering, and she would feel disappointed.
"How are you?" Sapa Moedya sipped her coffee. His body language has not changed at all. He still looks like the old Moedya, whom Arumi once loved with all her heart.
"I was going to go home, but the rain was too heavy" the man explained, even without Arumi pinta.
"good. You alone?" Arumi asked back. He glimpsed a sturdy arm with carvings of strange images that decorate it. Arumi knew very well, how warm it was to be in the arms. He has also touched the arm, even often and I don't know how many times he did it.
"As you can see," Moedya replied in her casual style. That's his trademark. He always looks calm and anti-stiff. That is what makes Arumi fall in love with the thirty-year-old man.
"It didn't feel like three years had passed so quickly. But ... I never saw you every time I stopped by your house" Moedya said. He went back to his coffee.
"I'm rarely home" replied Arumi slowly. He continued to play his lentiknya fingers on the edge of the cup containing espresso coffee his order earlier.
"I spend most of my time in the store. There ... it feels so much more .. ah ... time feels so fast when I'm there ...." Arumi remained silent. He knew that Moedya would not be interested in hearing about his daily life. Arumi was sure that the tattooed man no longer cared about her.
Moedya smiled knot. He looked at Arumi for a moment. The girl still looks beautiful, even now she looks much prettier. Arumi looks a lot more mature, though she is still loyal to her 7/9 jeans and a whimsical bun.
"So .. are you still busy at the store?" Ask Moedya. It seems like he has no other conversation material. Arumi only responded with a slow nod.
"You yourself? Is it still in the workshop or ...." Arumi did not have time to continue his words, because at that time Moedya immediately interrupted him.
"Keanu still often comes to my workshop," interrupted Moedya.
"Yes, I'm happy that your relationship was not affected by .. um. by ..." again Arumi did not have time to continue her words.
"We are both grown men. We can still put boundaries between personal affairs and friendship" Moedya said calmly. He went back to his coffee.
Arumi knew and was well aware that Moedya was insinuating herself. Moedya had said such a thing to him first, in a great quarrel between the two of them. The quarrel that led to a very painful breakup for Arumi.
Arumi just nodded slowly. He did not want to respond to Moedya's words at the time. He was happy to see that face again. Arumi was happy, because Moedya no longer looked at her with a gaze filled with hatred.
Arumi then sipped her espresso coffee. It was obvious how nervous and awkward he felt at that moment. He is a person who is not smart in hiding his feelings.
Moedya could see that clearly. He catches something else from Arumi's body language. The discomfort that the girl showed in front of her.
"You all right, Arum?" Asked Moedya flatly.
Arumi nodded softly even though the question sounded painful to her. Moedya no longer called him "Miemie" but Arum. It became clear that Moedya had forgotten what had happened between the two of them.
"It's funny. You've met my sister a lot, but we've never met one, '" Arumi murmured softly.
"I also felt astonished because after our relationship ended. Sometimes I think if you purposely avoid me," Moedya said calmly.
"We both have busyness" said Arumi slowly. "When my mother left, I had to handle everything alone. This was my first experience, so I .. sometimes I feel ...." Arumi bowed listlessly. There were many sad things that befell him with a lot of pain.
Since her relationship with Moedya ends, Arumi must take care of Ryanthi who falls ill. She is forced to give up all attributes of her indulgence and instantly becomes a fully grown adult girl. Likewise, when he must accept the fact that Ryanthi must go to catch up with his father, Adrian.
Arumi begins to learn to become a more responsible girl. He also became a little quiet and spent more time in the kitchen, struggling with the aroma of cakes that upload tastes.
Under the direction of Keanu who inherits business blood from his father, Arumi learns to run his mother's shop. Now "Sweet in Jar" has become one of the most sought after and much-loved cake shops, especially by the upper middle class.
"I'm sorry Moemoe ..." said Arumi.
"For what?" Tanya Moedya flat.
"For all that has happened between us" replied Arumi quietly.
Moedya did not answer. He stared at the beautiful girl. He used to touch that face gently, lovingly. But now I don't know who owns that face? I don't know which guy is lucky to be able to enjoy Arumi's current beauty?
Moedya believes that Arumi must have gotten a replacement for him. He knew that there were many men who were willing to stand in line just to get one ticket in order to enter his heart.
"Can we not talk about that?" Pinta Moedya's. "I don't want to bring up all the things I've long forgotten" continued the long-haired man again.
"I. .. I also don't want to bring up everything that has happened. But ... There may still be a debt of apology that I have not been able to say to you," explained Arumi slowly.
Moedya was still staring at that beautiful face fixedly. He must admit if he used to have tremendous difficulties to be able to release the girl.
They had been separated for about three years, when the incident happened. While Arumi was so faithful to wait for the return of the idol of the heart.
However, when they are reunited in a bond of love, in fact it does not make the story between them run properly. They even have to bury deeply into the beautiful wedding plans that they have lace up back then.
I don't know what kind of fate will accompany their steps forward. For some reason they must now be reunited after almost three years of evading each other and hiding.
Could there be a sense of longing in each of them?
"You apologized to me first. So ... You don't have to do it again for now. After all, I'm not entirely right either" Moedya said flatly.
"You mean?" Ask Arumi.
There was a small smile on that face. The face that used to be very disturbing for Arumi. The face of Mr. Charming.
The rain has stopped. The atmosphere became bright again. The conversation between them might end soon. I don't know when they can meet again and meet each other face to face like this.
"I hope we can be good friends" said Moedya without taking his eyes off Arumi who was just staring at him.
