The Mist In Arumi's Heart

The Mist In Arumi's Heart
Edgar the Sweet

"I told you that I don't care! Listen, Honey! Put all your work down when lunch time comes! We go out and have lunch together" Edgar said with confidence even though Arumi did not care about it.

"Let me continue my story" Edgar spoke again. "I'm also sure to cooperate with your sister's company, so, although I actually don't really understand much about business in the field of pe ...."

"Please get me that bowl!" Tell Arumi. He cut off Edgar's words.

"Which one?" Ask Edgar. There are several bowls on the table where it is leaning.

"That one!" Show Arumi. "That contains melted butter."

Edgar saw a bowl filled with yellow liquid. He then handed it to Arumi.

"Thank you" Arumi said without looking.

"City, Arum. I don't really understand the airline, but I'm very confident in this partnership. I even decided to buy a house here in Indonesia. I think I'm going to need it the most" Edgar said.

"Why are you buying a house here? Your home in Paris is more than enough. Anyway ... You don't live here, Ed. I think it's a pity. You're just going to waste your money" Arumi responded without looking at Edgar.

"I did it so I could visit here more often" Edgar said.

"Don't tell me if you want to live in Indonesia! Please bring me that bowl of flour!" Arumi again told Edgar without the slightest awkwardness.

This time, Edgar was confused. On the table were two bowls with the same contents. "Which one, Arum?" Ask.

"That's what's filled flour. Damn it if you don't know!" Arumi Ledek.

"They look the same," said Edgar slowly as he scrunched his forehead.

"There's a difference, Ed," Arumi said. He stopped his activity for a moment, then looked at Edgar. After that, Arumi grabbed a bowl and thrust it to Edgar. "Touch, but just a little! I don't want you to dirty my ingredients," said the girl casually.

Edgar obeyed what Arumi had told him. He touched the flour surface with his index tip and felt it. After which, Arumi grabbed the second bowl. He told Edgar to repeat the same thing. Edgar was back. The man with a posture of 180 cm, then stunned and thought. "For me it's the same, Arum," he said.

Arumi laughed softly. He put the bowl back and took the first bowl. "This is what I need" he said, showing the bowl to Edgar. He then put the flour into a mixer and mix it with other ingredients.

"They're different, Ed," Arumi said. "For you maybe they look the same. But not for me. There is a very big difference between the two flours" Arumi said.

"People wear high protein flour to make donuts, but I prefer to wear medium protein flour. The reason is because they produce a different texture when the donut is ripe later. There are certainly advantages and disadvantages of both flours. Sometimes I mix them up, but I often forget. All I remember was a medium protein flour" Arumi said. He still glanced at Edgar who seemed to be digesting Arumi's speech.

Edgar is convinced that Arumi is not giving him a cooking class. The girl always spoke in her style of language that really needed to be digested. Fortunately, Edgar was a capable man. It didn't take too long for her to be able to grasp the meaning of Arumi's words.

"So ... Which do you think I am?" Ask the man with a gentle look.

Arumi again stopped her work and turned to Edgar. "I think you know, Ed. You guessed it well" replied Arumi slowly.

Edgar was silent for a moment. He looked disappointed despite his loving gaze, still he lay to Arumi. The girl resumed her work.

"Why, Arum? Is my mistake too great, that I no longer deserve your love?" Edgar looked upset with his voice that sounded disappointed.

Arumi did not answer immediately. He placed the baking sheet he had been holding on the table. He was stunned and then bowed his face.

"We've all made mistakes, Ed. Me, you, the two of us can't escape our mistakes. I don't know why you keep chasing me, even though I've rejected you so firmly. I'm even being rude to you sometimes, but why are you so stubborn?" Lirih Arumi's.

"Because you're also a very powerful head, Arum! In the past, it took me a long time to get close to you and make you mine. But unfortunately, I was too stupid and .. I shouldn't have let you go" Edgar said regretfully. He then grabbed Arumi's hand covered in flour because Arumi happened to forget to wear gloves.

"No, Ed! My hands are dirty" Arumi refused. He feels uncomfortable because of it. But Edgar did not care. He even cleaned Arumi's palm with his hand. Without saying much, Edgar did just that. He looks very focused. While Arumi just stared at him fixedly.

Edgar was a very sweet man and knew how to treat a woman. She deserves to be called a woman.

A moment later, Arumi regained her senses. He immediately pulled his hand from Edgar. Arumi continued her work. "Go, Ed! I still have a lot of work to do" Arumi flattered, without even looking at Edgar.

"You won't accept my invitation, Arum?" Edgar still has not lost his spirit to invite Arumi to lunch together.

Arumi shook her head firmly. "Maybe next time," replied Arumi uncertainly. In his mind now there was only one Moedya. This morning the man came to see her and brought her a sweet kiss.

While Edgar still looked disappointed, but immediately he smiled. "Okay, maybe next time. It's okay, Arum," said Edgar slowly. "Yes, already. Please continue your work. By the way, Arum .. I hope you stop being selfish. There is no harm in doing something like most people. I don't think it will make you lose your uniqueness" Ergar said slowly.

Arumi was silent. A moment later, he looked at Edgar. The man, at first glance, reminded her of Adrian.
