The Mist In Arumi's Heart

The Mist In Arumi's Heart
An Unexpected Coincidence

Arumi glared at Edgar. Edgar was just the opposite. He still showed a friendly face to the girl.

"What are you waiting for, Ed? Quickly open the door!" Again, Arumi gave his orders to Edgar. The man responded casually. He blinked his eyes and got out of the car. After that, he opened the door for Arumi.

"Please, Miss," Edgar placed his left hand behind while bowing his body. Not to forget, he also reached out from front to side, as a sign that he invited Arumi to pass immediately in front of him.

Arumi glanced at the man while smiling thinly. After that, he resumed his steps and entered the coffee shop. Edgar followed him from behind, with his steps that looked so elegant and showed his high social class.

The coffee shop consists of two floors that are themed indoor and outdoor. This time, it was Arumi who determined they would choose which table. The girl chose a table that was in the outdoor section, which was the second floor. Previously, they ordered first the most recommended drinks in the place. Finished with the order, Edgar immediately paid for it at the cashier.

Edgar nodded with his calm demeanor towards Arumi. He hinted that all booking procedures were completed. Edgar also invited Arumi to climb the stairs first, after which he followed Arumi from behind until they arrived on the second floor.

There are rows of chairs and tables with shades of white and blue, like the color of a bright sky with cloud decoration. Arumi chose the end table, near the iron barrier decorated with vines.

Edgar then shifted the chair that would become Arumi's seat. He invited the beautiful girl to sit down immediately. "Thank you," this time Arumi was a little kind to the beautiful man. Edgar just smiled calmly. He sat down in the chair in front of Arumi.

A servant in a white uniform and a sky blue apron came over to them. The young man placed both orders on the table. "Please. Enjoy it" he said politely. While Edgar only replied with a slow nod.

This was the first time Arumi had come to that place. Since separating from Moedya and Ryanthi's departure, he seems to be closing himself up.

The view of the city was wide. In a moment, a hot afternoon would soon pass and be replaced by a beautiful afternoon. Fortunately, it has not rained for a few days.

Arumi's gaze continued to be fixed on the scenery around the place. He seemed to be able to see the whole city from there, but could not find the figure of a Moedya. What is that guy doing right now? Why is Arumi still thinking about her ex-boyfriend? Moedya said goodbye to him.

Meanwhile, Edgar sat down while leaning against his body. A gentle and hopeful look, he continued to lay it down to the beautiful girl who did not even look at him at all. Edgar seemed to be able to guess what Arumi was thinking. But what can he do to prevent it.

"Arum, taste the drink!"

Arumi looked at me. Then he nodded slowly. Arumi then took a sip of his espresso and placed the white ceramic cup again. "Enak" said Arumi. He commented on the taste of the drink he had just tasted.

Edgar then took a sip of his espresso. After that, he put his cup back down carefully." "Yes, this is delicious" she said. He agrees with Arumi.

"Oh yes, Arum. Tell me, who was that red-haired aunt?" Edgar began to open a conversation between the two of them. He didn't want to talk about anything too heavy at the time.

"Tante Ve .. I mean her name is Vera. She ... um. she's my mother's half-brother, but they're the same age" Arumi replied. He doesn't look very comfortable. Maybe he's not ready to start a conversation with Edgar.

"Oh .. so. Looks like it's a little ... naughty. I often see female characters like that .. I mean .. yes .. I mean nothing like Ryanthi's mother or you," Edgar seemed confused by his own words. In the end, he regretted his words. He then took a deep breath and slowly blew it away.

"Why should I discuss the female characters here? Edgar .. You suck!" The handsome man's inner.

"Do you like this place, Arum?" Ask Edgar again. He continued to try to attract the attention of Arumi who was again pensive.

"Yes" replied Arumi slowly. The girl looked very lazy to respond to all of Edgar's remarks.

Edgar took his drink back. It was going wrong at the time. He noted a beautiful girl who has always been a filler of his heart until now. Every effort he has made, to be able to pull back Arumi into his arms. However, everything always ends in rejection from Arumi.

Edgar was not someone who was unyielding. He does not care about the rude attitude and sharp words of the girl, he only has one belief that one day Arumi will be able to return to him.

Whether or not it will actually happen, but Edgar believes that the power of the mind will be able to turn something into a reality.

The power of the mind can make us even more convinced that the power of hope is so great and creates miracles that sometimes exceed what we want.

"Arum, may I ask you something?" Ask Edgar again. He continues to break up the clump of Arumi's delusion that he is building in Moedya's name. Once again Arumi turned to the handsome man.

"Ask me!"

"How long will it take you to forget me?" Finally Edgar was forced to raise the level of the topic between himself and Arumi.

Arumi stared silently at the man before her. It did not take too long for him to escape from Edgar's shadow, although until now the man still always overshadowed his life.

Arumi looks not so comfortable with Edgar's question. However, he felt he could not bear to admit what was in his mind earlier. However, there was no harm if he was being honest. Maybe that way, Edgar will think a little and not bother him constantly.

"I forgot for sure, but .. as I remember it not too long," replied Arumi in the usual tone he used, when talking to Edgar.

"Did our relationship not leave any impression on you?" Edgar looked a little disappointed with Arumi's remark.

Arumi could see a disappointed hue on that beautiful face. However, he had to put aside the bad taste in his heart, and chose to be indifferent.

"Yes, of course. We had a lot of fun. I also enjoyed my days in Paris back then ...." Arumi was silent for a moment. He was stunned to see the two people who had just come, and sat at one of the tables located not far from the table where he was currently.

Arumi's gaze was not distracted from her. That man, the man who had been making her ignore Edgar who was clearly in front of her. The man who had plucked his heart into the abyss of deep pain.

Arumi's heart aches even more when she sees the girl sitting in front of a man who is none other than Moedya, and the girl sitting in front of her is Diana.

Edgar remained silent. He followed Arumi's view. Instantly the man put on a thin smile at the corner of his lips. "They look good, don't they?" Edgar said, turning his gaze back to Arumi.
