The Mist In Arumi's Heart

The Mist In Arumi's Heart
The Turning Point of Moedya

Moedya pensively herself on the third floor of her house. Accompanied by a cigarette and a can of soft drinks, Moedya enjoyed the night alone. Thin smoke billowed into the air. It looks pretty clear in the dark of the night.

Moedya's memory returned to Arumi and the conversation earlier. Moedya began to think earnestly. He tried to keep digesting all Arumi's words well. Suddenly his memory turned to Diana, the girl he had just left behind this afternoon.

Guilt comes unexpectedly and greets him without excuse. Really if it was something unusual for him. All this time, Moedya had never thought about what Diana felt. He did not care and thought that the girl would always accept everything she did.

Moedya then grabbed her phone. It was past midnight. Moedya knew that Diana must have slept well. The girl lived regularly, although she lived far away from both her parents.

Yes, it's been the last few years, Taraa and Vincent decided to settle in America, because Vincent had to take care of his mother's legacy business. Taraa also opened a boutique there.

Diana occupies a luxurious apartment. He was accompanied by a servant there. Diana is not the type of girl who likes to spend her time in the kitchen, let alone familiarize herself with a myriad of household chores.

That morning, Diana opened her eyes when she found a message from Moedya. The man agrees to accompany her to Arumi and Edgar's wedding. It made Diana frown. The girl was astonished, what had made Moedya change her mind in such a fast time?

Diana did not reply to the message. He put his cell phone back on and chose to get out of bed. However, before he could get off the phone ringing had stopped his intention. Diana grabbed the phone again.

A call came in from a contact named Moedya, appearing on his phone screen. Diana did not heed the call. Instead, he chose to put his phone back, and passed it into the bathroom. Today, she is going to the boutique and chooses a dress for her to wear to Arumi's wedding reception. Diana wanted to look as beautiful as possible.

Meanwhile, Moedya was overwhelmed with a feeling of great astonishment. It is not uncommon for Diana to ignore herself like that, instead Diana sometimes makes Moedya feel uncomfortable with her excessive caring attitude. But now it is just the opposite. Diana seemed to have avoided it. He did not even reply to messages and answer incoming calls from himself.

Moedya again sent a message to Diana. However, again the message only shows two blue ticks with no reply at all. Moedya took a deep breath. He was increasingly astonished.

He had a leather jacket lying on a chair by his bed. Moedya then moved out of her room. Just then, he passed by Ranum. The mother looked neat, like she was leaving.

“Where are you going, Bu?” moedy asked curiously, since Ranum had not come out of his house for a long time.

“Mother is going to the boutique. Can you take Mom for a minute?” ranum asked while looking at his only son with a strange look.

Moedya fell silent and thought. He had intended to see Diana, but he could not refuse her request.

“Mother is lazy to drive alone,” Ranum looking for a reason. Moedya had no reason to refuse. The man finally agreed.

“I hope I don't have to wait for Mom all day in the boutique,” Moedya said as she got into her car. Ranum just smiled as he followed Moedya in.

Moedya took a deep breath. It's a shame to have to discuss something related to Edgar. Especially because Ranum also praised Edgar's good looks. It felt even more annoying to Moedya.

“She is from France, Mom,” with forced Moedya answer questions from her mother.

Ranum mangut-manngut heard it. “Do you know each other?” ask Ranum again. It looks like he is investigating. While Moedya only took a deep breath. I don't know what the mother meant to ask her such a thing.

“Don't tell me Mom will find me a stepdad like her!” the instantaneous chirping of Moedya made Ranum glare at him. However, not long after the sixty-year-old woman over was laughing amusedly. “Do you think Mom still deserves to marry again?” ask her in a joking tone.

Moedya glanced at the mother for a moment from behind her sunglasses. After that, look back to the front. Then he smiled. “Ya deserved,” answered with doubt. “Do you want to compete with me?”

“You mean?” ranum asked in an incomprehensible manner.

Moedya took a deep breath again. He was silent for a moment. While Ranum is still faithful waiting for what will be said by his only son. Until a while later, finally heard Moedya speaking again with a very convincing tone.

“I've thought about it carefully, Mom. I also want to get married to Diana,”, said Moedya. He looked at Ranum for a moment.

Hearing the words from Moedya, Ranum immediately frowned. He is now between joy and wonder. Ranum did not immediately respond to the child's good intentions. He still had to convince her first.

“Marriage is something very sacred, especially for a woman. For a personal mother, it is like that. Mother only expects one marriage, although the reality is that you also have to get married twice. I hope you think about it carefully and do not regret your decision again. Do not let you hurt your wife's feelings later, and most importantly do not suddenly decide to want to get married because you see Arumi who is also about to get married,” Ranum said. He knows the character of Moedya winds and easily carried away by his mood, then after that he will regret all the decisions he has taken.

Moedya smiled faintly. He then stopped his car because they had arrived at Ranum's boutique, which is now run by Rania's older sister. Before descending, Moedya had a glance at the mother who was removing her seatbelt at the time.

“I talked to Arumi last night. I want to learn to be a committed man. I can't be in a situation like this forever. I had to leave my comfort zone and start looking for a new challenge that made me feel so much better and more like a man. I want to be like a strong father and have a strong commitment in his life. I think it's time for me to change my perspective,” Moedya explained at length.

Ranum was moved to hear that. Caught the masculine face of his son, he then kissed Moedya's forehead with affection. “It's never too late to change for the better, son. I will always support you with all my heart. I'm happy if you finally have such thoughts, because your age will continue to grow, while your time decreases. Make the best use of that time, lest you regret it again. Remember, Son! Easy to reach, but hard to keep. However, as long as we have sincere intentions, then there will be nothing too difficult for us to do, as long as we do it with pleasure,” Ranum again advises his son.

Moedya nodded confidently. “Front month Diana's parents are coming. I hope you are ready to accompany me to meet them,” said Moedya again.

“Of course, Juna. Don't worry! For now, a wedding may sound very scary to you. However, you will know what the pleasure of a marriage will be after you live it. If your father is still around, I'm sure he will strongly agree with Mom's opinion,” Ranum with his gentle smile. After that, he got out of the car and Moedya immediately followed him.
