The Mist In Arumi's Heart

The Mist In Arumi's Heart
That's how Moedya is

It was still daytime when Moedya closed his workshop. He's already taken a shower. His short hair is neatly combed. He is still loyal to the leather jacket and of course his torn jeans. With a steady step, the 178 cm man headed for his retro motorbike and began to turn the motor on.

That afternoon, Moedya had an appointment to meet her fiance, at a coffee shop.

After a while on the road, Moedya finally arrived at her destination. He went straight to the table where he had been waiting for a short-haired beautiful girl, who immediately smiled when he saw her coming.

“How are you, Moe,” greet Diana. Moe is a call unfortunately for the lover who has become his fiancee. I don't know when they'll be planning a wedding.

“A long time ago, Di?” Moedya replied to Diana. The girl with the electric blue mini dress smiled. He felt happy because Moedya's attitude began to gradually ‘ramah’ against him. It seemed like the man had already begun to be able to accept their relationship normally.

“My parents are coming home from America next month. I want you to take Ranum's mother to my house and we discuss the continuation of our relationship. What say?”

Moedya smiled calmly. He nodded in agreement. “As of you,” answers.

Diana looked at the man before her. He believes that Moedya must have known about the news of Arumi and Edgar's marriage, therefore Moedya immediately agreed when Diana asked him to discuss the continuation of their relationship.

Usually, Moedya always dodged whenever Diana discussed the matter. Moedya always said that she was not ready to face a marriage.

“So, you have received an invitation card from Arumi?” diana asked while stirring the drinks she had ordered. Not to forget he also ordered coffee for Moedya.

“Ya,” Moedya answered briefly. The man seemed reluctant to discuss the issue of the marriage of his former lover who turned out to have forgotten him. The girl even married earlier than herself.

Diana smiled wryly. There was a bit of bitterness in his heart. After all, Arumi was his best friend. Sometimes he felt a deep remorse for everything he had done to the girl.

Everything has happened. No matter how big a regret, then it will only be an inner burden that feels torturous. No one can restore everything that has already happened. Not with a wail or even a cry of blood though. Even an apology is sometimes not enough to eliminate an error that has been done.

“Are you going to attend Arumi and Edgar's wedding?” ask Diana.

Moedya sipped her coffee. He feels worried. Song anyway, the invitation card was intended for Ranum not for him. That means, Arumi did not intend to invite him to the wedding.

“I wasn't invited, Di. The invitation card is for my mother,” said Moedya slowly. He may be a little disappointed, but Moedya also felt grateful because he did not have to watch the girl he once loved with another man, especially the man was Edgar Hillaire.

I don't know what caused Moedya to hate the man so much, and vice versa. Edgar also seems to really dislike Moedya. I don't know what happened to the two men who claimed to be both adults.

“There's no way Arumi didn't invite you,” Diana feels doubt over Moedya's words.

Moedya shrugged her shoulders. He also took his coffee back.

“Then accompany me there!” pinta Diana's. He seems to have done it intentionally.

“What do you mean?” Moedya seemed to frown. He looked at his fiancee in full search.

“Arum gave me an invitation. If indeed you do not get an invitation, then you can come there with me,” said Diana calmly. The girl looked very satisfied when she saw the uncomfortable expression that Moedya had shown back then.

“What do you mean, Di? I didn't want to come there because Arum didn't invite me. It could be because he does not want me to attend his wedding,” kilah Moedya. He himself did not want to attend the wedding.

“You are my fiancee. I think it's okay if I take you with me. Anyway, from me to there alone,” persuade Diana.

Moedya took a deep breath. He shook his head in refusing Diana's invitation. It had made Diana become more intense to force Moedya to be willing to come with her.

“Why, Moe? Don't tell me if you don't intend to come to Arumi's wedding!” diana looked suspiciously.

Moedya laughed softly. He shook his head again. “His husband-to-be wouldn't like it if he saw me at his wedding. That man hates me so much,” to Moedya. He was looking for another reason.

“Not you hate him so much?”

“Ya ... we hate each other,” concluded Moedya. He went back to his coffee. “I don't understand why we should discuss this issue. I think there's still something more important than discussing Arumi's wedding! I don't like it, Di. That's not good news for me!”  he said it again with quite a fire.

However, a few moments later Moedya was instantly silent. He wanted to draw the last words he said. However, what had already come out of his mouth, it was impossible for him to pull again. Moedya was just scratching her head. Especially when he saw the way Diana looked at him.

The girl looked disappointed with him, but she did not reveal it. Diana preferred to rummage her drink in annoyance.

“Can we change the subject?” moedya asked in a much calmer tone. Diana did not answer. The girl looks sulky.

Diana must admit, if Arumi's shadow is still always a very scary threat to her relationship with Moedya. Moreover, he knows the character of Moedya who is easily influenced. Sometimes Diana doesn't understand because she has to be so interested in a Moedya. However, the girl is still looking for the good side of Moedya and the justification for her lover.

“Connected Arumi is also getting married, which means your chance to get back to her is closed, Moe. So, are we going to start following him too? I'm getting tired of waiting for you, and you still look calm! Looks like you do not intend to continue this relationship even though we have been engaged for a long time!” tuding Diana's.

“Come, Di! Why did you suddenly have to be affected by Arumi's marriage? You know if I'm not ready for a wedding!” moedya. He was increasingly uncomfortable with the conversation, especially suddenly the phone he put on the table then vibrated.

Moedya immediately checked it out. A message came in from Keanu. Whether there was any promise between the two of them, it was certain that at that moment Moedya seemed to be preparing to leave.

“Where to?” diana asked who looked increasingly disappointed with her fiance. As usual, the conversation between them always ended just like that. Moedya always preferred to put forward her personal affairs. If it's not a workshop, it's a motor club.

“I still have a little business with Keanu. We'll continue later, yes!” said the man while tidying up his jacket. He then moved from his seat.

“You sure you'll leave me here?” diana protested with annoyance.

Moedya looked at the girl for a moment. “Come, In. It's a men's business, and you won't like it,” Moedya replied. Her life was always filled with reasons that confused women. “When we can continue this discussion again, okay!” said the man again lightly. After raising a smile for Diana, Moedya then passed by from before the girl.

Pensively staring at Moedya's departure, it was a common thing for Diana. The girl never knew, if Arumi was the same as herself. He has to fight to be able to survive and compete with all the affairs of Moedya, which is related to the motorcycle club or other things. That's why, even Moedya barely has a photo of Arumi at all. The man was too engrossed in his own world.
