The Malang Widow

The Malang Widow
The II Trial

Today I went to the trial with my two children and my mother who will be witnesses at the trial later.

"Permy... We're going for a walk, right??" said Uwais who was preparing to board the car.

"Dear not, we will meet abi, mbah uti sama mbah kakung..."

"But Uwais does not want to meet mbah uti umi.." said Uwais with a weakened voice and a lowered face.

"Lohs... Why why anyway? Mbah Uti is like Grandma too..."

"Yes but Mbah Uti does not love Uwais... Mbah Uti just love Umar.." his sentence with a tone full of spoiled and clear.

"It's not so, son... Mbah Uti dear Uwasi kog... Especially Mbah kakung.." I tried to calm him.

"No...!!! The same dear Uwais is only Mbah Kakung, if Mbah Uti does not...!!" he said in a annoyed tone.

"Ehhh what is this....?? Ayok left." said my mother who had just entered my car.

"No ma'am, ordinary Uwais.." I said flat which then turned on my car engine and drove it at medium speed.

"Mommy is really hard if you have to divorce.... Your sister also hopes you can be together again." said the mother on our trip.

"Yourfts...." For a moment I took a long breath.

I just didn't want to answer my mother's words. It's only natural that my brother and my mother behave like that, because they don't know the details of my problem with Deri. I didn't tell you much that Deri had an affair with Lani that I had in that room. All they know is that I misunderstood and just accused Deri of having an affair with a woman his old friend used to.

It's true I didn't tell you the truth about Deri. Especially about the video of the affair that I kept tight. I kept it and didn't want anyone to know about it. For I do not want the disgrace of a father of my children to be tainted and hurt the feelings of my children.

A few hours later I was at the trial site. It appears that Deri and my two in-laws have been present first. They were all sitting in waiting chairs right in front of the courtroom later.

"Daddy....!!!" yelled Uwais who just got off his car.

Spontaneous Deri approached us and gave a warm hug to Uwais.

"Flower, mom stopped by the office of the mother who used to, wanted to meet the kangen with old mother friends, later if the trial was about to start you call mom ya..." my mother said she begged me to meet her co-workers at the office where she worked first not far from the building where the trial was held.

"Yes, ma'am." answered me, who had sent Umar down from my arms and trained him to walk.

"We take the children to play in the park in front of yuk, while waiting for the trial to start." said Deri approached me.

I nodded in agreement. We walked to the park right in front of the building. Deri sat beside me holding Umar while chatting with him.

Sometimes he looks me in the face with a face that really does not want to lose me. Uwais was so happy with this togetherness. The togetherness that he always looks forward to in every day.

"I beg of you after we split you marry me... I hope that there will be a man who will always take good care of you." said Himself while watching over my two children who were playing in the beautiful grassy yard.

"On that let me decide later... To be sure, you have to promise me that you will never hurt your woman again." I replied flatly.

"You're the last woman I ever hurt and I'll love forever...."

I just kept quiet hearing his words. As much as possible I reconcile my heart so that my decision does not shake, even though I know he still wants me very much.

Soon my mother-in-law approached us. His face looked cynical towards the two of us.

"Mom...." At once Uwais ran to hold me as if he was afraid of the arrival of the bubble.

"Mom.." my bro who then approached him meant to pay him a salute. But he brushed off my hand with a sharp look of mana.

"Bad you are.... How dare you sue my son... What kind of wife you are, don't know what kind of luck... It's good that Deri used to want to marry a widow like you, now even you act... The same pantes that used to be problematic, now it's the same with Deri..." His words with a cynical tone.

"Mak... Flowers are wrong... If you don't know anything, don't make accusations that way." said Deri while trying to invite her mother back to the waiting room in the building.

I just kept quiet and didn't say anything. The Uwais that held me the more I hugged tightly.

"Permy... Uwais said that Mbah Uti is evil.... Umi did not believe... Therefore Uwais is afraid of Mbah Uti.." said Uwais as if his soul began to be shaken.

"Uwais can't talk like that... Mbah Uti is not evil with us... Or that's a sign of our equal attention..."

A few moments later, Deri came back to me.

"It's our turn to enter soon." His words gave me news.

"Well, I called my mother first." said I who then called my mother to immediately return to where we were.

It looks like Deri is holding Umar who is cool playing it.

"Before our farewell happened... I beg you to hug everyone before I can no longer touch you... Please come closer." ask Deri.

Deri stretched out her hand to replace me holding Umar. While he then carried Uwais.

Instantly he leaned his body towards me until we got closer to each other. Our breath clashed against each other there. Our sobs run into each other between our warm hugs.

"Same mom Abi why are you crying??" uwais said between our arms.

"Umi is sad because soon abi will not see us for long..."

"Indeed, Abi could not meet Uwais... Uwais wants us to go on like this... Uwais doesn't want umi to let go of abi's embrace...Uwais wants this.." whining Uwais who makes our sobs more roaring.

Mom was standing in front of the yard staring at us with a glazed look. The sight before him made him even more unwilling with this farewell.

I try to slowly release that hug. Although several times Uwais whined reluctantly separated from our deck.

I tried to rearrange my heart to stay strong waiting for a judge's verdict that in a matter of minutes will change my status.

Slowly we tried to step towards the building with long sighs to each other. A pale face appeared on Deri at that moment. His steps were trembling and pouring cold sweat that clashed with his heart.

"Father Deri, is it true that mother Bunga's accusation that you've been having an affair with another woman??" ask the judge in the courtroom.

But Deri just looked silent and lowered his face without a word he said.

"My son could not have cheated on me, sir, it's just my son-in-law's wits." My mother-in-law's words began to rain down on my soul.

"Mom, I'm sorry we're not talking to you...! Mr. Deri please answer our questions." said the judge again.

Deri still remained silent not answering.

"Well, mother of Flowers, can you prove your claim? Is there a witness who can prove your accusation?" the judge's words are headed to me.

"I brought my mother, but she is out looking after my son, if possible alternately to be able to join this trial." said I who try hard.

"Well, is there any evidence other than the witness?"

For a moment I was silent and did not want to answer. But my heart was turbulent, especially with the attitude of my in-laws who always accused me.

"There's a judge, I'm carrying a piece of evidence." I said as I pulled something out of my bag. I thrust out the object that made Deri's face look surprised and paled even more.

"Father Deri, does this really belong to the father and the woman?" Ask the judge while showing me a pair of panties that I once confiscated from Lani's boarding house.

Again, Deri just silently unable to answer.

"No way sir, my son's a good boy, it's definitely not Deri's...!" my mother-in-law's call again.

"Mother, once again mother makes a rowdy, I will get mom out of this room...!!" threaten the judge.

"Mother Flower, is there any evidence other than underwear?" the judge looked at me sharply.

I took a deep breath while swallowing my saliva. In my honest heart I'm not willing to show this. But incidentally because my mother was not in place, then I ventured to thrust my phone to be connected to the screen in front of us to be able to watch the contents of the video.

"This is sir.." I said as I thrust my phone in slow, trembling steps.

The look on Deri's face became more agitated. His legs supporting his body began to tremble along with his cold sweat pouring out.

The video was shown to all of us in the room. The faces of Deri and Lani were clearly displayed there. The look on my two-in-law's face blushed in embarrassment. His face was watching the video.

Shortly after watching the video, the judge finally decided on our case.

"Sir...Yokey..." The sound of a hammer knock sign was over our divorce hearing, and we were declared officially divorced.

The look on the face of sadness was very clear to Deri. While I felt relieved, though in my heart was very moaning for this farewell. But as hard as I can try to hide this.

Deri seemed to kneel before the green table with sobs full of regret.

Now I don't pay attention to it anymore. My feet stepped out of the courtroom slowly.

"I'm sure that Deri cheated on you because you were also not good at taking care of your husband....!!" my mother-in-law's call with a step of trying to get ahead of me. His words were only seen to cover up the embarrassment of his accusations against me all this time.

"Pig....Abi....!!!" Uwais screams from the car's glass window with her relentless crying accompanying our farewell.

Deri's sobbing face was staring at the departure of the car we were riding in and continued to drive away leaving him and my two former in-laws.

Good bye my husband.... Your love that carries the wound, I will keep it for the rest of my life, with the growth of our children.... I muttered with watery eyes, covering my driving gaze.
