"Kring-kring" the sound of my morning gawawa after I performed the Fajr Prayer. I grabbed it and saw Rianti's name on my watch screen.
"Assalamu'alaikum?" I answered Rianti's phone.
"Walaikumsalam, ukh, yesterday we talked about anti with cousin ana who has a pulse counter, Qadarulloh he was looking for employees to keep his counter which is now open branch, how? anti want to work at the counter?" rianti's offer to me instantly made my heart happy. Just in my prostration I slipped this matter with the God of my Lord, and He has now answered my prayer.
"Alhamdulillah, is it true that Rianti, yes I want.I want very Rianti.." I replied with great joy.
"Then, later at 8 am anti go directly there yes, meet my cousin, later ana will wait there for anti nemenin, it seems like today anti can already start working". Said Rianti who made my eyes even more teary-eyed with gratitude.
"Thank you very much Rianti, you are indeed my good friend, if there is no you, I don't know what my fate is.
"It is not because of Ana, but because of Allah, once again God sent this for you through ana, then thank Him".
"Yes Rianti, once again thank you, see you later yes, do not forget the address later send by message so that I can easily find it".
"Well, if you're so good, Assalamu'alaikum?"
"Goddessalam".
""Hehhh" I immediately breathed my elbow and I put my salary on the floor. I lay for a moment my body on the thin mattress left by my mother who helped me at that time. With my bag of rangsels in my pocket because I couldn't spare the money to buy it, I looked up at the ceiling with deep gratitude.
"Thank you God...Finally you open my way.hopefully this is the beginning of my path and my son's path" I murmured softly with my hands on my chest.
Soon I also bought breakfast to fill my stomach which has been struggling since. In a simple food stall not far from where I live, I bought a packet of rice and two pieces of fried tempeh plus a little sambel to just add flavor.
I enjoyed breakfast with pleasure, since I was pregnant my appetite began to add a lot, especially with my pregnancy growing older. Any food I crave with delicious, even though only limited to rice and side dishes, or sometimes rice only with vegetable sauce is enough to make me grateful that there is someone who can fill my stomach.
Although my life is full of flaws, it turns out that there are still many who suffer more than me. In this city, a lot of sprawling or homeless people roam with their perfunctory clothes. The scorching heat was nothing compared to my steps in my job search. Not to mention his power against the flow of social life that is quite heartbreaking for me. I am thankful that I am lucky to them.
I am still reunited with good friends, and a good life. I muttered while swallowing some mouthfuls of my nose while looking out the window that I slightly opened and noticed some tramps who occasionally passed in front of my contract.
After my nose ran out without rest, I rushed to take a shower to clean myself. Do not forget I took the time to perform the Duha Sunnah Prayer every time I will do activities in the morning.
Kusamber a wide headscarf I hang every day I wear and wash and then I wear it again, as well as my robe. Lucky I still have some clothes that my mother gave me first to replace even though only 2 strands, but at least there is a pause for me to change while waiting for the dry cloth.
Right in front of a fairly tiny pulse counter, I finally saw Rianti with a man whose cousin might have been waiting. Rianti who is sitting in the front seat of the counter will not want to mingle with his cousin who is inside the counter. Rianti is a woman who is very protective of slander, because her cousin is not a mahram for her, which is why she prefers to sit outside.
"Assalamu'alaikum?" my swearing against them.
"Goddessalam". Flowers, anti has come, let's have a seat". Rianti said while offering a plastic chair where buyers sit.
"Sister, meet this Bunga, a friend you told me about and want to work here". Said he introduced me to his cousin the owner of the counter.
I looked at him and I threw my friendly smile to greet him.
"My name is a sibling" I said a little embarrassed.
"Yes, I already know, I know, my name is Arif, you can work from today, after this I will explain some work that you have to do every day, the rest later you can learn while walking".he said looking at me kindly.
"Thank you brother for letting me work here, sorry because my condition is pregnant, is sister ready to take the risk if at any time I will give birth?" I said full of worry.
"What's wrong, if you're fit to give birth, let me temporarily change your position here. Actually, this is my usual self-holding, just because sometimes I have business to shop for equipment, so I need a replacement to keep my branch counter here, if the other location there are 2 employees who handle. There is quite large unlike the one here, because this one is just trying to start pioneering. Doain yes so that it can be big as well as the other counter" he said with a very soft speech that makes me comfortable to have a boss like him.
"God willing, brother, surely I pray that my sister's business is always smooth, especially I will scavenge the fortune here, of course I will always pray for the smooth running of my brother's business"
"Hmm well, here I teach you some of your duties before I stay" with a nod of his head, which shortly afterwards I approached to notice what he was going to explain.
A few minutes later, he explained, I finally knew what I had to do. Now I am alone at the counter, while Rianti and Arif have decided to go home. First Brother Arif first because there is business, then followed by Rianti who wants to go to his campus for college.
"Ana pamit first, good luck with anti yes work, take care of yourself and hopefully feel at home. Oh yes, later if you still want to join kajiyan, anti can move the schedule ba'da Magribh, because if noon does not allow anti-work" he said before leaving me.
"Yes Rianti, God willing, I will call you if I want to come to Kajiyan, so that I can be together."
"Well, ana said goodbye, Assalamu'alaikum?"
"Walaikumsalam" my smile closed my greetings kindly to Rianti who then stepped out of my work place.
With passion I began my work. Some customers began to approach to buy pulses or mobile phone equipment. With a friendly face, I serve them with all my heart. Although sometimes I have to puff my chest because my stomach feels tight and experiencing false contractions.
