Chapter 84

Aulia was again in a confused state when facing these three men. He also did not imagine that there would be such an event.

"I apologize to Gus Fathir, for not replying to messages or calls. From yesterday my phone was off because it was gone. I forgot to put or did fall, I don't know" Aulia said feeling guilty.

"Well, I deserved to call you inactive. I thought you were hacking a cell phone. Usually you always disable the phone," said Alvan.

Gus Fathir glanced at Alvan. He felt annoyed that the Japanese man cut his talk. He had just opened his mouth to reply to Aulia's words, with the unwillingness of Alvan who was not spoken to even chimed in Aulia's conversation.

"It's okay, Aulia. Thank God you are in good condition. I've since yesterday kept your mind up—"

"I think of you every day" Alvan cut out as he glanced at Gus Fathir. He felt very overwhelmed by the man.

"I've been worrying and thinking about you for years, Aulia. I never miss it every day, every hour. I always look for your existence," said Rangga did not want to be defeated by two rivals.

Grandpa Joseph and Grandma Halimah just smiled at the behavior of the three men, but did childishly just to seek the attention of Aulia. No one wants to budge, even more active and aggressive in giving his attention to the idol.

Aulia sighed behind her veil. He now turned his eyes to Alvan.

"For Mr. Alvan, I'm sorry for refusing dinner. Because I already have an appointment with Grandpa and Grandma. It's not that I told you and Mami Siska," said Aulia.

"I thought you refused because you were still angry with me," Alvan replied with a soft and clear look.

Aulia felt that Alvan was becoming more and more dependent on her. Even when he was about to go home, there was always a reason to keep him from going home.

Now Aulia turned her attention to Rangga. The man who is the first love and was avoided by him because he was very hurt by his family first.

"Sister Rangga, I'm fine. So, Brother need not worry. Especially now that there is Grandpa Yusuf and Grandma Halima who will take care of me. Insha Allah I am always in good condition" concluded Aulia.

The three men ended up talking to Grandpa Joseph, while Aulia and Grandma Halimah went to the room. In fact, Aulia felt uneasy at this moment meeting all three people at once. As a result, he chose to rest himself.

The next day, Alvan was already acting annoying and bossy again to Aulia. In fact, he did so to melt back the atmosphere between them. Alvan felt that Aulia was being different to him. He said he forgave his mistakes first.

"Aulia," called Alvan whose gaze could not be separated from the veiled woman.

"Yes, sir," Aulia replied as she raised her head.

"Have you thought of the request I wanted to grant?" ask Alvan.

"Not yet, sir," replied Aulia.

"Aulia, I really like you. I want to portray you as my wife. Do you want to perfect some of my religion?" Alvan restrains Aulia by holding both her hands on the back of the chair.

"I love you" whispered Alvan, looking into the woman's clear eyes.

Aulia felt her heart thump, but there was fear in her. He could not move his body at this moment. Even his eyeballs were fixed on Alvan's face.

Alvan felt very anxious because Aulia did not return her words. He wanted to kiss the lips behind the veil. Let the woman speak. However, he would not commit such a heinous deed.

"Married me!" pinta Alvan and make Aulia's body stiffen even more.

"We build a household like what is expected by you," continued the man who still impaled Aulia.

Aulia could only swallow. He was confused as to what to do. All this time he never thought that Alvan would have the desire to marry him.

In Aulia's life the men who had thought of becoming husbands were Rangga, Gus Fathir, and Ahmad. Rangga is a lover, first love, and the man who once made her pregnant. They also planned to marry secretly. But his father refused Aulia married in series. Until Aulia feels betrayed by Rangga's family. 

Aulia's husband is like Gus Fathir. A man who is sholeh, handsome, and has the knowledge of religion that can guide himself and his family later. However, again Aulia felt betrayed by her love. When the man proposed to him, but did not refuse when married by his grandfather to another woman. Aulia does not want to live a polygamous home life. He knows what he is like. His fear was not the reward he could get in building that household. Instead, sins that accumulate because of suspicion, envy, and can often be prejudiced at the honey. 

The wounds in his heart could be healed with the presence of Ahmad. Just this time Aulia fell in love with someone without looking at her physique. The ideal husband criteria fall on this figure. Even as she lost this future husband, it left her long in mourning. Until now there has not been a man who thinks like Ahmad.

Alvan, there was nothing special about him in Aulia's eyes. It's just that, somehow this figure can not escape from his mind. Ever since they first met, she felt that there was a power that made her engage with this man.

The two people who were still staring at each other in this very close distance, seemed to forget what they were doing and where. Until the sound of someone coughing resuscitated the two. 

Alvan and Aulia were both embarrassed and awkward. Aulia lowered her head, while Alvan straightened her body.

Mario was standing by the door. His face displayed a mischievous smile.

"Am I interrupting?" ask Mario.

"Yes." Yeah." Alvan squinted his eyes at the assistant.

"No." Aulia still lowered her face.

"Oh, then I'd like to say. Meeting's ten minutes away. You still have time, so make the best use of it" continued Mario and left the Alvan room.

As far as Mario left, the two were silent and became awkward. Alvan glanced at Aulia.

"You don't feel burdened by my feelings. You have the right to accept or reject it. Even so, I hope that you accept this love and me" Alvan said.
