CHAPTER 10

"Grandfather, can the sin of adultery be forgiven by God?" aulia asked Grandpa Joseph.

"Many istighfar readings are exemplified by His Majesty the Prophet Shallahu alaihi wa salam. This is an istighfar phrase that is often uttered by the Prophet Shallahu alaihi wa salam, 'Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihii astaghfirullaahi wa atuubu ilaiih (Holy God with all the statements of thanksgiving to Him, I beg Allah for forgiveness and repent to Him)'" said Joseph's Grandfather.

"Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihii astaghfirullaahi wa atuubu ilaiih," repeated Aulia several times until she felt memorized outside her head.

"You're smart, Aulia. Can be quickly memorized. Expand reading istighfar between your free time, be it verbally or in your heart. For God loves his servant who remembers Him much. Be it when alone or when many people," Grandpa Yusuf said with pleasure.

"Said Grandma Halima, dhikr it is a practice of worship that is easy to do and has a great reward value" said Aulia.

"Yes, praying is a very easy worship for us. But it has a great reward value because we can recite while sitting, standing, or lying down. We either have ablution or do not have ablution. If we pray we must have ablution, while we can recite even though we are not in a holy state.
