Chapters 27. Grandpa Yusuf's Advice to Aulia

CHAPTER 27

     There was a greeting of someone in front of the house. Joseph's grandfather opened the door to see guests who came at night.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Mr. Ustadz," said Mang Jalil.

"Wa'alaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh," replied Joseph's grandfather.

"Sir Ustadz, help my son! His body heat and convulsions, must be taken to the hospital," Pinta Mang Jalil.

"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun, let's hurry! We have to take him to the hospital" said Joseph's grandfather. He also asked Aulia to take her son to the hospital.

      Aulia, Yusuf's grandfather, Mang Jalil, bi Imamah, and Ima boarded a sedan car to go to the hospital. Meanwhile, Halimah's grandmother kept the other two Mang Jalil children at home.

     Fathir and Annisa visit Joseph's grandfather's house. They said their greetings, but no one answered. The front room lights are still on.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Yusuf Ustadz." This time Fathir was a little loud in his voice while giving his greetings. He suspected that the residents of the house were in the kitchen.

"It looks like they're out. There's nobody in this house. Aulia's car didn't exist either" Annisa said.

"Mas also said his greetings three times. We will come back here again" said Fathir with a soft and pushy look at the door.

"Yes, maybe they have a temporary need outside the house" said Annisa. They left Joseph's grandfather's house.

     Anak mang Jalil and bi Imamah soon get treatment once they get to IGD. The two old men of the boy were still unable to calm down. The condition of Ima is also unknown. Aulia bought sweet tea water and gave it to them. Especially if it's very cold tonight.

"Mang Jalil .. Bi Imamah, this is drinking warm tea water first! Calm down, the doctor and nurse are treating Ima. God willing, everything will be fine" said Aulia.

"Thank you, Aulia," said Imamah.

       The doctor also said that Ima was in a state of improvement. Luckily, I got first aid at home. Ima was transferred to the inpatient room.

"Mang Jalil .. Bi Imamah, I'm sorry to go home. Yusuf's grandfather also looked tired, he had to rest at home," said Aulia saying goodbye to the couple.

"Thank you, yes, Aulia. May Allah repay you and Ustadz Yusuf" said Mang Jalil. 

"Be careful on the road, yeah." Bi Imamah hugged Aulia's body sobbing. How ashamed he was for once defaming her. However, at this time it was Aulia who helped and helped the administration earlier.

"Yes, thank you. I say goodbye, assalamu'alaikum," said Aulia.

"O Allah, it is You who turn your heart upside down. I give this love to You. Do not let me love your creatures, beyond my love for You. Bring back my love for my opposite sex in this heart only to the man who becomes my husband. Don't let past sins come back to me. Forgive me, O God." Aulia's tears were so rushing out of her eyes.

     Aulia recalled saying Joseph's grandfather last night when they came home from the hospital. Words that made her heart tremble and her tears spilled back.

"Aulia, you know what? Love is like a spring that always drains freshness to a thirsty soul. Therefore, in order for love to always maintain its sanctity, to grow well, one should know how to care for it," said Joseph's grandfather who sat in a side seat.

"Aulia doesn't know, Cake," Aulia replied honestly.

"At this moment the problem that is entangling you is love for your fellow man. As for how to care for love it is, first, to straighten out intentions. In order for love to bear fruit worship, purify the intention in making love because Allah SWT alone," said grandfather Joseph and Aulia nodded.

"Second, love proportionately. The prophet SAW once said, 'Love your beloved only, because maybe someday he will be something you hate; and hate something that you do not like just, because maybe one day he will be something you love'" said Joseph's grandfather again.

Aulia confirmed this. He used to be so crazy about Rangga. To give her honor. However, when the man is irresponsible, it makes him hate himself.

"Third, affirming love with prayer. The Prophet said, 'O Allah, I ask for the grace of Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the effort that can lead me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love something I am most pleased with.' Thus, if love is well maintained, the sanctity of one's love will remain awake so that he is free from the confines of distressing love" explained Joseph's grandfather.

"Thank you, Cake. Now Aulia's mind felt even more open," Aulia honestly with tears.

"Get love in your heart for the man who deserves it" the grandfathers of Joseph and Aulia nodded

"Assalamu'alaikum," greeted Aulia when a foreign number reached her.

^^^"Wa'alaikumsalam. Is this true with the family of his grandfather, Yusuf Abdullah Rahman," said the caller in a trembling and sobbing voice.^^^

"Yes, right. I'm her grandson, Aulia. You who?" ask Aulia.

^^^"I'm the one who hit your grandfather. Now he's in the hospital" he replied insinuantly.^^^

"Innalilahi wa innailaihi. How is Grandpa doing now?" aulia asked with tears.

^^^"He still gets treatment by a doctor. I can call you because I found the ID card and the phone in his pants pocket, "to be honest with you.^^^

"Well, I'm going to the hospital now!" Aulia rushed to tell Halimah's grandmother and they went to the hospital.

     Again for the second time Fahir came to Joseph's grandfather's house, before the time of Dzuhur. He came with Kiai Akbar and Nyai Khadijah. They did not know that Joseph's grandfather had an accident and was in the hospital.

"How is Umma? The deadline requested by Kiai Rojaq was ba'da Dzuhur" asked Fathir.

"Try the phone on his phone!" the Nyai Khadijah.

"It has been, but it has not been lifted either" replied Fathir.

"Allah, Allah knows what is best for you" Kiai Akbar said with a sad look at his second son.

     Days changed, Aulia was busy taking care of Joseph's grandfather who was hospitalized. Joseph's grandfather's leg suffered a minor fracture. He needs to rest a lot and don't run. Aulia and Grandma Halimah kept watch alternately day and night.

     The news of the accident that befell Joseph's grandfather had spread the day after the incident. Many acquaintances of Joseph's grandfather came to visit the hospital. 

     Only the ndalem family has not come to visit. That's because they're in the next town. It is located in Pesantren Darussalam.
