Chapter 59

     Alvan took Rangga and Barata to the meeting room in room 13 at the end of the hallway close to the elevator. He deliberately did this because it was obvious that Aulia's gaze changed when he saw the middle-aged man.

     After the three of them left, Aulia went to the bathroom in Alvan's office. He took ablution water to dispel the anger in his heart. The water of ablution can relieve anger or even eliminate anger in a person. The cold of the water quenched the heat in Aulia's heart. 

      He saw the reflection of his face which was now more fresh and radiant than before. He was also actually afraid that Rangga could recognize himself and interfere with his life again now. Every time they met, Rangga always looked at him with full search. Aulia's life is now calm without any interference from her ex and family.

"Related Aulia, all were returned to God. Don't be afraid of Rangga or his family. Rest assured, Allah knows what is best for you" murmured Aulia while patting her cheeks.

      Aulia returned to her desk. He is alone and continues his work. As he was doing his job, suddenly the door opened. Aulia thought it was Alvan, but she was shocked when she saw that Rangga had entered the office alone.

"Sorry, my phone is left here" said Rangga and walked to the table, then picked it up.

     Aulia was just silent as Rangga spoke just now. He thought it was not a word to be answered. He saw Rangga put his cellphone in his suit pocket on the inside.

"Aren't you going to have lunch with us?" ask Rangga.

"Don't Mr Alvan already have an appointment with the manager of the Abstinence Forward Company?" Aulia already knew very well what the schedule was today.

"Yes. We will all eat together with the manager of that company. Mario will also come, your time is not," said Rangga.

"No, it's not a duty that's being held accountable to me. Right now, this is 'the task they gave me, '" Aulia replied as she lifted the map she was holding.

"You're the one with responsibility. I like this attitude of yours," said Rangga.

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Rangga." Aulia also held another proposal. He no longer wanted to serve the words of the man who was now standing in front of his desk.

      Feeling that her existence is disturbing Aulia who is at work. So Rangga went to leave Alvan's office.

"Alvan, is there something wrong with the proposal that Om put forward to your papi?" tanya Barata tried to extract information from Alvan.

"What's the matter, Om?" ask Alvan back. He pretended not to know.

"Om filed for cooperation with your papi, but was immediately rejected without any conversation at all. Usually he is not like that" replied Barata.

'Is 'Yes. That's because papi never knew that Om had done evil to his old friend papi, ' Inner Alvan grumbled.

"Maybe papi is not interested in the project that will be run by Om," said Alvan flat.

"This project will bring a lot of benefits, you know. Don't you spare this opportunity?" ask Barata.

"Maybe papi's not interested because it's something he's not entitled to" Alvan said.

"Why don't you just work on this project?" ask Barata.

"I have a new project. And that's something I've been waiting for" Alvan replied firmly.

"Om very hopeful if you want to work together," said Barata with a disappointed look.

     Alvan was back with Mario when the clock was almost 14.20 and Aulia had just finished her work. He had already checked all the reports and there were some reports that were typo. 

     Aulia's brain is intelligent even though she does not get an education until college. He read and studied economics with Annisa. He also often helps Annisa when many tasks, all counting learning. Not to mention having a boss like Alvan who is always firm on all employees. Aulia got a lot of business knowledge from her boss. Especially if it is directly practiced.

"Yes, sir," Aulia replied briefly.

"Then, why did this become two stacks?" alvan asked as he pointed at the map he had his desk bag on. 

"This pile of maps I have checked the contents correctly. Meanwhile, the other stack had some mistakes in typing," replied Aulia.

"Wow, you're great Aulia! That much work you have completed. If someone else, it will be soft" praise Mario while patting his hand. 

"This is what I like about Aulia. Never catapulted into work," added Alvan with his trademark smile.

"I should have done the task given to me, sir," replied Aulia.

     Mario feels something is wrong with Aulia. Usually the veiled woman speaks in a cheerful and friendly tone. However, it now feels flat. So, Mario also glanced at Alvan. The boss looks ordinary.

'Is that just my feeling, huh? Aulia felt different at this moment. Does he like you, sir? Or when the holidays yesterday something happened to them?' Mario wondered in his heart.

     It was late in the afternoon, and Alvan and Aulia prepared to go home. This whole day, Aulia did not say much and it made Alvan secretly pay attention to her.

"Sir, are you ready?" ask Aulia.

"Yes" replied Alvan and Aulia pushing her wheelchair.

      While in the middle of the road Alvan saw the grandmothers of the seller Rempeyek. So, Alvan also asked the driver to pull over his car. He asked Aulia to buy all the leftovers from the granny's merchandise.

"Sir, how many packs are these?" ask Aulia.

"Three thousands, Neng," replied the grandmother of the rempeyek seller.

"My master wants to buy all of Grandma's merchandise. We count how many," said Aulia.

"Alhamdulillah. Thank you, Neng. Grandma was very happy," the grandmother replied with teary eyes. He felt a great happiness.

"Thank you to my master, Grandma. Well, in the car, "pointing Aulia politely.

"May the master be the same Neng, given health and ease of all affairs by God," said the grandmother prayed.

"Aamiin," replied Aulia.

     So, Aulia also counted the rest of the Rempeyek in the container. The remaining tenyata there are 36 packs multiplied by 3000 rupiah, so the total payment is 108,000 rupiah. Aulia took out 100,000 and 20,000 bills and gave them to her grandmother.

"This is the money. Ijab qobul first yes, Grandma. Let's sell the purchase full of blessings" said Aulia.

"Yes, Neng. Also let it be halal to sell it," replied the Grandma with a smile. Then, they also do ijab qobul in buying and selling.

"Wait for the change!" exclaimed the grandmother as Aulia moved away.

"No need for change, Grandma. I'm sincere," replied Aulia.

"O Allah, bless the life of Neng" said the grandmother.

     Aulia walked towards Alvan's car. However, there was a motorcycle that suddenly approached towards him and pulled Aulia's bag.

"Murkey!" shout Aulia.
