Chapter 101

Alvan, who finished lunch with Mario, is now grim. He was furious when he found out there were bad rumors about Aulia. He also gathered all the office employees in a very large hall room. "Community's habit of talking about a topic/other people (ghibah) is also the biggest cause of hoaks that circulate. Allah subhanahu wata’ala has forbidden the believers not to gossip with each other (ghibah) in the letter [al-Hujurat/49:12] :

"O you who believe, stay away from the majority of the ancients (suspices), because some of the ancients were sinful. And do not look for the ugliness of people and do not gossip with each other. Does any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Of course, you are disgusted by him. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the Receiver of Repentance, the Most Merciful".

"The parade of this hoax issue is also inseparable from the low literacy and reading culture among our society. Islam recommends its people to be careful and always check the information and news received first. In religious language it is called tabayyun.  The Quranic verse that talks about fake news is the letter ” (QS. An-Nour: 11)

“Surely those who brought the false news are of your kind. Do not think that false news is bad for you even it is good for you. Each one of them is recompensed for the sins he committed. And who among those who participated the greatest part in the broadcasting of the hoax was for him a great punishment”.

"In outline it can be concluded that the religion of Islam is very concerned and concerned about this hoax, so it is advisable for people to always check the information or news received first and find out the source of where the information or news comes from," said Aulia ended his explanation.
