Chapter 70

     It was seen a middle-aged woman sitting alone on the chair of a deserted garden. The face that is usually polished by make up now, looks pale and dull. Skin care results that cost millions do not leave a trace at this time. She often daydreams of her husband's behavior that has betrayed her for years. 

      He accidentally saw a Muslim woman who was helping a child who fell. Now his heart felt slashed and his head felt hit by a godam.

"What is this punishment that God has given me? I used to ask Aulia to abort her child, I even got a barren daughter-in-law. I used to insult Dewi—his mother Aulia—it turns out my own husband has children from other women," he murmured that often came out of his mouth lately.

     Shinta saw the Muslim woman sitting alone. Then, he pulled out his provisions. Suddenly his mouth was gaping and could not make his voice, as the Muslim woman lowered her niqob.

"A-ulia?" Finally, she was able to make a sound out of her mouth when the Muslim woman finished eating.

       Seeing Aulia leave, Shinta followed her. He wanted to meet and talk to her. He wants to apologize for his past mistakes.

       Shinta runs to catch up with Aulia. However, he was late for losing his tracks. He kept circling around the office building complex.

"Aulia, where are you?" he said as he ran around looking for his son's ex-lover.

     The Alvan is currently memorizing Quranic verses. Every day he always memorized to Grandma Halimah. He wants to be a priest for his family. He must memorize short letters. He is currently memorizing juz 30. 

      Ojichan, who plans to stay one month in Indonesia, has been three months unwilling to return to his country. He said he wanted to see Alvan get married first, just go home. This makes Papi Kenzo urge Alvan to get married quickly.

"Alvan, if you want to go to Aulia's house, take Ojichan as well" whined Ojichan to his granddaughter. He did that because Alvan often went quietly while going to the girl's house.

"Originally Ojichan don't like to disturb Bi Eneng. Poor him, until his headache because of the work of Ojichan," grumbled Alvan because he was ashamed of his grandfather's behavior.

"Bi Eneng it .. kawai~" said Ojichan.

"Let's know that old man is the same as plump, demplon, and bahenol," muttered Alvan with twisting eyes.

"Alvan, Bi Eneng is a widow. So, maybe if grandpa gets married," whispered Ojichan.

"Astaghfirullahal. This old man who already stinks of land, wants to get married. I am still young, burly, and mighty not even married once" muttered Alvan.

"What were you just now? In Japanese, Ojichan did not understand" Ojichan said.

"Cccckkk .. ccckkk, you're wrong. Although Ojichan does not speak Indonesian and Bi Eneng does not speak Japanese, but our heart language is the same." Ojichan shook his head and turned his hands in a wiggle.

"Cie .. the second pubescent. The heat is different, yes." Papi Kenzo comes with Siska's mom and laughs at Ojichan.

"So, that Ojichan likes Bi Eneng?" mami Siska asked with a questionable look at her father-in-law.

"Yes, love .. love it, Siska chan, I want to get married. Let it go if Alvan isn't married. Just throw a party for my wedding" Ojichan replied.

"Did Bi Eneng want to marry Ojichan?" ask mami Siska.

"Where would he want to!" exclaim Alvan and papi Kenzo.

"You're both bad!" screech Ojichan and get out of there.

"Aulia marry me!" pinta Fathir told Aulia after she ventured after so long harboring him.

"Gus, out there are still many good and honorable women who deserve to be your companion. I'm not the woman you deserve, Gus." Aulia felt guilty for the man who always loved her faithfully.

"All I want is you. Not want to with the others. Don't you want to give me a chance because I'm a widower?" fathir asked with his soft voice.

"It's not so, Gus. You are wrong to consider yourself low because of the status of the widower. Gus also knew my own dark past. I don't want to judge others as inferior to me" explained Aulia.

"Then, why? What's the reason you rejected my proposal this time?" ask Fathir.

"Because I'm afraid to tarnish the name of the pesantren. Although Gus no longer holds pesantren management, or no longer teaches in pesantren. Still people will know you as the descendant of the founder of Pesantren Al-Ikhlas" Aulia replied in a sad tone.

"Why do you always look down on yourself. In my eyes you are a sholeha woman, a dream wife-to-be, a great mother-to-be and a very good life companion. All I want in a woman is in you" Fathir said.

"Honestly, if it's near Gus Fathir, what I feel is my contemptible self. Too high if I expect Gus as a companion to life. Trust me, if God will give you a better mate than me, Gus." Aulia was currently in a mess of her heart and mind.

"I'm sorry for never thinking that way" said Gus Fathir. His love for Aulia was still deeply rooted in his heart.
