That afternoon I just arrived at my house. I saw a black car parked in my yard. Apparently it's Keenan's car. Not long after, he got out of his car.
"Why not just send a message or phone?" my many.
"I can't call your phone."
I took the flat device from my bag.
"Oh God! Apparently my phone's dead."
I also took the late Gibran's brother into my house.
"Uncle Kenan!" call Lyra when we just got in the living room.
"It's right to call uncle Keenan's name. Not Uncle Nan-Nan anymore" I said to my little princess with a big smile.
"Lyra is big" he said.
"Bi, please make some warm tea," I said to bi Ami who had just emerged from the kitchen.
"Good, Mom."
"Uncle Keenan," call Lyra.
"Yes, honey."
"Uncle Keenan's busy, huh?"
"Why indeed?"
"Uncle never plays here again."
"I'm sorry, honey. Uncle was quite busy with work. Ehm .. how about we take a walk this weekend?"
"Lyra wants! Lyra wants!" it's full of spirit."
"Lyra asked permission from her mother" Keenan said.
"Lyra can't, Mom? The same streets as Uncle Keenan?"
"Ehm .. Can you not?"
"May ya, ma'am ya. Lyra will follow Uncle Keenan," whined Lyra.
"Ehm .. Yes, I can."
"Thank you, Mom."
"Oh yeah, I meant to come here because my mother asked you to come to our house for the four-year anniversary of Gibran's abandonment."
Yes Rabb. Because of my busy life I almost forgot that today, exactly four years ago, the man who was almost my priest went to Rahmatullah.
"Lyra, Honey. Are you coming, to Uncle Keenan's house? There's an event to send a do'a to Uncle Gibran" I said. My daughter nodded her head.
"Oh yeah, where's Sabrina and Fina's mom?" ask Keenan.
"Mak Fina and grandma are in her room" Lyra replied.
"Let's be invited too."
"God willing, after the Maghrib prayer, we come to your house."
"Well, if you'll excuse me, Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'aalaikumsalam."
"After the Maghrib prayer Mr. Amin took us to Keenan's house. There was a four-year event for Gibran's death" I told Mr. Amin.
"Good, Mom."
"I'm sorry, Mom. Looks like I can't come. I'm not feeling well" said Fina.
"You sick?" I asked while sticking the back of my hand on his forehead. I feel her body is a little hot.
"Yes, you're at home just the same bi Ami."
At about half-seven I was with my mother and Lyra left for Keenan's house with Mr. Amin.
When in the middle of the road suddenly I heard the sound of an eruption from the back of my car.
"Oh God! The rear car tire broke, Mom."
"So, how, sir?" ask mother.
"Mother don't worry, I brought a spare tire."
"Yes, we go down first. Let Mr. Amin put in a spare tire" I said.
We got out of the car and waited on the side of the car.
It was then that suddenly a Jeep stopped not far from my car. Two men in leather jackets came out from inside.
"Why the car, Mom?" ask one of the men.
"My car broke a tire" I replied.
"Where are you guys going?"
"To the family event."
"Let us deliver. Installing tires takes a long time."
"Thank you for the offer, sir. But my driver has enough experience in installing car tires" I said.
"Oh, our intentions are good."
"Sorry, Sir. We'll just wait until our tires are finished."
"Come on!" Suddenly one of the men pulled my arm.
"Astaghfirullahaldzim! Why did you force me?! Didn't I tell you, I will wait for my car tires to be installed?! I struggled for the man to take my hand off.
"Have it, just massage."
The man smothered my mouth and forced me into his car.
"Yes Allah. Zura!"
"Mother!" scream Lyra.
