My madam, my poison

"Sorry, did your phone fall?" keenan asked shortly after approaching the man wearing the long-sleeved shirt.

The man checked the back pocket of his pants. Sure enough, he didn't find that thing in there.

"Astaghfirullahaldzim says. I am so careless of this. Where did you find him?"

"In the parking lot not far from my car."

"Thank you."

"Sorry, I accidentally saw the screen. If I'm not mistaken, the girl's toddler's name is 'Lyra', isn't it?"

"How do you know my daughter's name?" The man frowned.

"Your daughter?" Keenan asked back.

"Yes. The photo I put on the screen of this phone is my daughter, Lyra."

"So, you're Azzura's tailor's husband?"

"You know Zura too?"

Keenan smiles.

"It just so happened that I asked Zura to sew my wedding dress. Although in the end my marriage failed because my future wife passed away two days before our wedding day" he said.

"Innalilahi wa inna ilaihi raji. I'm in mourning."

"Thank you, um, …"

"Call me Fabian."

"I'm Keenan. I didn't expect to meet Zura's husband here."

Keenan smiled blandly.

"Zura is not my wife anymore. We're officially divorced."

"Ma-ma-af, I really don't know."

"It's okay."

"Sorry, is there a brother of yours who's dealing with the police?" ask Keenan.

"Ehm, ti-ti-no. I came here to visit my old friend."

"so apparently. Yes, I'll excuse you first" said Keenan.

"Thank you again for returning my phone."

Keenan nodded his head, then smiled.

"See you." Keenan passed from the front of Fabian and then approached his car. Not long after the car drove away from the place.

While Fabian entered the office of the Correctional Institution.

"How are you?" fabian asked when he met his wife, Karmila.

"Am I still able to answer the news that I am doing well?"

"Ehm ... actually I mean coming here because there's something important that we need to talk about."

"What's important? About mom, or Rayyan?"

Fabian shook his head.

"Want to?"

"It's about ehm …"

"What do you really want to talk about?"

"I-I was forced to marry Silvia."

"How could that be? He even failed to help me get out of jail."

"This is because Silvia was worried that she was pregnant after what happened between us in that hotel room."

"What have you guys done? Didn't Mas himself say you didn't do anything outside the city?!" Mila's voice sounded louder than before, making several pairs of eyes in the room turn towards them.

"Ssst. Don't loud. People will hear our conversation."

"What happened between you? It was impossible if Silvia suddenly asked to be married for no apparent reason."

"What happened back then was an accident. More precisely a trap" Fabian said.

"Traps?"

"At the seminar, Silvia accidentally met her ex-boyfriend, Dion. Dion, who still harbors feelings for Silvia, invites her back into a relationship. Silvia refused it. He even uttered words that made the man hurt until finally, .." Fabian hung up on him.

"What's last?"

"Dion put the pills on my drink*ng. I don't think I need to explain what happened next."

"So, Mas will marry the old virgin?!" Mila raised her voice again.

"Sssst ... lower your voice," Fabian said half in a whisper.

The mood was silent for a moment.

"Mas will divorce me and marry that woman? Is that what you want?"

Fabian grabbed Mila's hand and grabbed her.

"Ja-ja-di, …?"

Fabian nodded his head. Of course he knew where his wife was going.

"Mas must promise. After Mas's goal was achieved, Mas had to leave the woman and come back to me" Mila said.

"You don't worry, honey. I will never turn away from you." Fabian peeped at Mila's back.

I don't know what exactly was on Fabian's mind. He felt that only that statement was the right one for him to reveal to Mila. At least Mila would not oppose her plan to marry Silvia.

"I go home first, take good care of yourself" Fabian said as he moved from his seat.

"I keep my promise. Just be careful if you dare to mess around!" threaten Mila's.

Not long after an officer approached him.

"Sister Mila. It's time to go back to the holding cell" he said. The two left the room.

"How, Bian? Have you talked to your wife?" ask Silvia.

Fabian nodded his head.

"So, when are you going to take care of your divorce?"

"Quickly."

"Well, I'll talk about this with you soon."

"There's one thing I want to ask you."

"What do you want to ask?"

"Does Mr Anthony agree if we get married?"

Silvia smiled.

"I'm my only father's daughter. From childhood my father never opposed what I wanted. As long as it makes me happy, dad will definitely support me."

Their conversation stopped when suddenly there was the sound of objects falling from the front of the room. Silvia rushed out to check on him. It appears in front of him an Office Boy was crouching while picking up the broken glass.

"Are you not able to work properly 'huh?!" Silvia looked at the man full of anger.

"Ma-ma-af, Mom. I'm not feeling well. Suddenly, my body went limp and almost collapsed. That's why this glass dropped" said Office Boy.

"Have known that you are sick, why force yourself to go to work?"

"I have been out twice this month. If today I don't go in, I'm afraid this office is dismissing me."

"Your face is so pale. If something happens, the office is to blame. You just go home now. Let me talk to the HRD department later."

"T-t-but, Mom. I'm not gonna get fired, am I?"

"No. It's home."

"Thank you, Mom."

Office Boy was then passed from before Silvia.

"Basic lowly officer!" silvia Umpat.

"You know that Office Boy?" silvia asked Fabian.

"Yes. Wasn't he the one who caught us that day?"

"Don't he eavesdrop on our conversation."

"Leave it. He's just Office Boy. Wouldn't dare to do anything."

"Yes, I go first. Continue your work."

"Good, Mom."

"Why do you still call me mom? I'm your future wife?" silvia Protest.

"Ba-ba-well, Via."

"See you, my future husband."

Fabian simply responded to the remark with a faint smile on his lips.

"Why did it all go like this?" muttered.
