My madam, my poison

My madam, my poison
The other side of Fina

I hurried my way to the gate where my hostel where the black car was parked.

"Mas Keenan! Sister Asha!" yell again.

Keenan who just held the car door handle turned to look at me.

"What's up, Ma'am?" tanyakanya.

I set a moment of my breath that had time to hunt.

"I'm sorry, it looks like Mas Keenan gave me the wrong envelope" I said.

The man with my eyes frowned.

"What do you mean by Zura?"

"The money in this envelope is a lot. Maybe this is the envelope that Mas Keenan will use for wedding purposes later," I explained.

Keenan smiles.

"It's not wrong, ma'am. I have specially prepared the money for our wedding dress. Let's see the writing on the back of the envelope."

I flipped the brown envelope. Sure enough, I found the inscription "Wedding clothes" printed there.

"I can't go wrong to give the envelope, because I myself record every expenditure for the preparation of my wedding later," said Keenan.

"But, Mas. This money is too much. I've sewed a wedding dress many times, but the cost of sewing is not this big."

Keenan smiled once more.

"It's okay, Ma'am. I believe Mbak Zura can make a memorable wedding dress for us and for anyone who sees it. That's why I dare pay dearly for it."

"Yes, Ma'am. Even if Mbak Zura considers the money excessive, think of it as family sustenance." Asha.

"Goddessa. You guys are a really good match. Hopefully, after marriage, you can become a sakinah, mawadah, and warohmah family."

"We can only plan, Ma'am. The rest belongs to Allah the Almighty" said Asha.

Honestly, the sentence that just came out of Asha's mouth made me a little surprised. I responded with a faint smile on my lips.

"Astaghfiullah!" myrag.

"Why, Mommy?" ask Asha.

"So we were too busy chatting, I forgot not to record the size of your wedding dress."

"Yes Allah. Why am I not thinking too?" Asha chuckles.

"Come, Mas. Come back inside. Let me take note of the size of your clothes" I said. The two brides-to-be agreed. They followed me back into my room.

"Bak just live here three?" asha asked shortly after I recorded her size.

"Yes, Mommy."

Suddenly Asha's gaze turned on Fina who was holding Lyra.

"Enak yes, have a daughter. Can help his sister, momong" he said.

"I'm not Zura's son, Ma'am. This son of Zura's is the one I carried," protested Fina.

"Oh, sorry, Sister. I think you're Zura's oldest son."

"It's okay, Ma'am. Ms. Zura this is so good to me. He not only taught me to sew, but also to hijab. I feel very lucky if I have a mother as good as her," said Fina.

"Already, do not praise continue, later my clothes suddenly narrow," said I who suddenly made the laughter of a pair of brides-to-be exploded.

"Sorry, where is Lyra's father? Is he working out of town?" ask Asha.

"Bu Zura has separated from her father Lyra" replied Fina.

"Sorry, Ma'am. I don't mean, …"

"It's okay, Ma'am. Oh yea. The size of your clothes I have recorded. I will make the best wedding dress design for you. God willing, his clothes are finished before the 20th."

"If the clothes are ready, Zura called my phone number on the business card. I'll get people to take it" Keenan said. I also nodded in understanding.

"Please excuse me, Assalamu'alaikum."

"Getishalight."

The two brides then left my boarding house.

"So, what about that money, ma'am?" fina asked as soon as they passed.

"They didn't give me the wrong envelope. The money was prepared to make a wedding dress" I explained.

"Save this money" I said as I thrust two hundred thousand bills into Fina.

"No need, Mom. Just being allowed to stay here I'm so grateful."

"It's okay. Thank God there is more sustenance. You can save it to buy the things you need" I said.

Although she initially refused, Fina finally accepted the money.

Next morning.

I was just struggling with my sewing machine when I heard the sound of someone knocking on the door. Banged more precisely. I left my sewing table and opened the door. A middle-aged woman stood before me with a waistline.

"Excuse me, whose mother, and what is there to do? Why banged on my door?" my many.

"Where's Fina?!"

"Fina is inside. Why are you looking for her?"

"Where's Fina?! Quickly call him out!"

I then moved from the living room and approached Fina who was cleaning the kitchen.

"Someone's looking for you outside."

"Who, Ma?

"Eitherway. I don't know him."

Fina left her job and walked towards the living room.

"Sorry, what's the need to look for me?" tanyakanya.

The woman also turned to him. How surprised Fina was when she saw who the guest was.
