My madam, my poison

My madam, my poison
Go back

"Everyone who attended this event drank the same drink, didn't they? Why is only one person poisoned?" my spoken.

Gibran then took me to the crowd. I was surprised to find a man lying on the floor with his mouth full of foam.

"Isn't he the man I met?" my inner.

Everyone just sees it. No one dared to approach including a modern woman who became his partner at this party.

"God! Aldo's! You why?" gibran asked, lifting his body half-sitting up.

The man called Aldo was silent while occasionally holding his stomach.

"Mother's friend, right? Why is he like this?" I asked the modern woman.

"I-I don't know. We just drank from this table." The woman pointed her index finger at a table used as a place to serve drinks for invited guests.

"If I may know, which glass is he drinking?" my many.

"That glass of strawberry-flavored drink."

"Isn't that the drink the waiter gave you, but you refuse to drink it?" ask Gibran to me.

"true."

"That glass that I just returned to where it came from. I remember exactly where I put the glass" Gibran said.

"Which dramusaji do you mean?" ask the groom to Gibran.

"I didn't see his face clearly because the waitress was wearing a mask."

"All the waiters are expected to gather!" exclaim the groom.

Moments later the waitresses on duty at the event were lined up, numbering eight people.

"Which dramusaji do you mean?" ask the groom.

Gibran and I then looked at the faces of the eight waitresses. Strange, I didn't find the waitress who had brought us drinks.

"Which pilgrim, Gib?" The groom repeated his question..

Among the 8 waitresses now standing before us, I somehow felt suspicious of one of them. He looked agitated while occasionally lowering his face. I also looked at his eyes. No, he's not the one.

"The culprit is not here" Gibran said.

"How, Do? What do you feel now?" ask the groom.

"My stomach is nauseous, my head is dizzy and my eyes are twitching."

"Well, I'll have one of my employees drive you to the hospital."

Without waiting for orders, two men came to Aldo and swept him out of the room followed by the woman behind him.

"Please put the drink into the container, I want to take it to the hospital to check the contents" said the groom to one of the waiters.

"I apologize for the inconvenience. To avoid things that are not desirable, you should not drink from this table. I'll replace it with mineral water" he added.

After giving a gift to the groom, Gibran asked me to leave the room.

I just pulled the Gibran handle. Suddenly I felt like I had to go to the bathroom.

"I'm sorry, I think I should go to the restroom."

"Let me drive" said Gibran.

"Don't fuck around!"

"Who wants to mess around, do you know where the toilets in this building are?" tanyakanya.

I shook my head.

After circling the multipurpose building, I finally found a female toilet.

"You just wait here and don't come in" I said.

"What kind of man am I?" his grunts made me smile.

Of the several toilets that are in that place, only one room looks empty. I also put my feet in the toilet.

When I locked the room, I suddenly heard chatter coming from the room right next to me.

"But ... but .. Ma'am."

"But why?"

"Looks like you got the wrong target?"

"What do you mean?"

"The poisoned drink was not the woman with the handsome man."

"What?!"

"I saw for myself when the handsome man returned the glass filled with strawberry syrup to the table. I had intended to get rid of the drink, but I lost quickly. The glass was already taken by another visitor."

"Dead me! So, what about visitors who drink that drink?"

"So I saw her mouth spitting out foam, she also said she felt nauseous in her stomach. The man is now taken to the hospital."

I don't know why the chatter made my desire to urinate suddenly disappear. I quickly got out of the room and approached Gibran who was waiting for me in the parking lot

"Come with me!" I pulled one of his hands.

"Where am I going to take you? Waitaminute! Why was I taken to the ladies' room? Holy jeez!"

"The shhh!!" I put my index finger on my lips.

"What's really going on?" tanyakanya.

"Shut up and listen to the chatter from inside this room!" my word.

Apparently, the two women had not yet moved from inside.

"You didn't talk to anyone, did you? about me borrowing your uniform?"

"No, Ma'am."

"Just promise, it's a secret between the two of us."

A few minutes later the toilet door opened. I was shocked when I looked at the face of one of the women, Gibran was no exception.

"Luna's? So you're the one who put poison in the drink?" my pedicabs.

"What are you talking about? Don't accuse me!"

"I know now. You borrowed this waitress shirt and delivered drinks to Zura that you had mixed poison into 'didn't you?"

"Ti-ti-no. That's not true" Luna denied.

"Do you choose to confess in front of people or prefer to testify at the police station?" gibran asked half-threatening.

"I-i, …"

"What's my fault, Luna? Why do you always interrupt my life? Yesterday you tried to harm Lyra by pushing her into the pool, now you want to harm me by poisoning my drink" I said.

"You wanna know what's wrong with you? Your fault is that you approached the man I still love so much. As long as you haven't stayed away from him, I won't let your life settle down!"

"Well, if you really want me to stay away from Gibran, from now on I'll stay away from him."

There was a great pain as the sentence slid from my mouth.

"Please, from now on Don't ever bother my life and my daughter's life again" I said.

"Zura's! Waitaminute! Zura?!"

I ignored Gibran's voice, who kept calling me.

"Taxi!" I shouted at a taxi passing in front of me. I also went into it.
