My madam, my poison

My madam, my poison
Hollowly

I just locked myself in my room this afternoon. For my prayer, I chose to do it alone, not in congregation as I do every day with my family. I know this is not true, but what I want right now is that I want to be alone without meeting anyone.

"Mother .." Fina's voice was heard from my doorstep.

"Come in."

Fina then went into my room. In his hand was a tray of fried rice and a glass of warm tea.

"Mom ate first" he said.

"I'm not hungry."

"Even if I fast, I have to break the fast from the Maghrib, right?"

"Where's Lyra? Has he eaten?" my many.

"Bu Sabrina was accompanying him in his room. He kept asking why Gibran didn't come to this house."

I don't know why Fina's words made my tears spill again.

"Ma-ma-af, Mom. I didn't mean to remind Mom of, …"

"It's okay" I said, wiping the clear part of my cheek.

"I see, maybe right now I want to be alone. I'm out first, don't forget the food was spent. I cooked it with love and affection."

Fina tried to make me smile, but for now it's hard for me to do it.

I pulled out my phone and opened a photo album from the gallery. I didn't expect, yesterday afternoon's video call to be the last time I saw a big smile on her face. This chest is back. Is this what it feels like to lose someone we love?

"You're asleep, son?" This time my mother's voice came from my doorstep.

"Not yet, Mom."

Mom went into my room and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Why isn't the fried rice eaten? Fina's been working hard on it."

"I'm not hungry."

"Your stomach is empty all day. Remember, not long ago you just had an appendectomy. The doctor told you to take care of your diet, right? Do you want the disease to come back?"

I did not respond to mother's words. My eyes didn't change for a second from my phone screen.

"Mom knows very well what it's like to lose, but I don't agree if you torture yourself like this. Eat even a little." Mom grabbed the plate of fried rice that was getting cold and tried to bribe me. I shook my head, there was no appetite at all.

"Do I need to call Mr. Amin to bribe you?" This time my mother made me smile.

"Open your mouth, aaaaa," she said as if she had bribed me when I was a kid.

I opened my mouth slowly.

The first bribe landed in my mouth.

"The fruit! Huah! Drink up! Drink up!"

"What's wrong with you, son?"

"Sheath! It's spicy!"

She grabbed a glass of warm tea and gave it to me. I who was in the heat rushed to empty the contents of the glass.

I don't know how much chilli Fina put into this fried rice to make my tongue feel burning.

"What's the food spicy?" ask mother. I nodded my head in response.

"Fina .. Fin," call mom.

Not long after, Fina went back into my room.

"What's up, Mom?" tanyakanya.

"Why did you make this fried rice for Zura?" his pedicab.

"Ma-ma-af, Mom. I just want to make your mood better. I know spicy food can improve the mood," said Fina.

"Mood improved no, heartburn yes. Already, you bring this food to the kitchen," said the mother.

"Mom want me to buy you something?" ask Fina.

"No, it's night after all, go to sleep. You go to school tomorrow, right?"

"One more time I'm sorry, ma'am."

I'm reviewing the smile.

Fina took the plate with the super spicy fried rice, and she left my room.

"That's it. People are sad even to be made to tweet!" aspersion.

"Easy, Mom. It'sit's okay. I know Fina meant well."

The mood was silent for a moment.

"Yes, …"

"Yes. What's up?"

"Maybe I haven't told Mom about a dream I've been having lately."

"What dream are you?"

"Some time ago I dreamed of meeting my father. In that dream Dad asked me to meet a man."

"Who is that guy?" ask mother.

"Now, his face was so faint, but as I recall my father said that it was the man who would be my healing wound, and last night the man reappeared in my dreams. He took my hand as Lyra and I were confused to find our way home just after Gibran left us at the park" I said.

"Don't get too thought out, dreams are just flowers of sleep" said the mother.

"But, Mum. Yesterday I had a dream that Gibran left me and Lyra, and it turned out to be a bad feeling that he was really going to be gone for all eternity."

"Maybe it's just a coincidence, don't think about it. So, what do you want to eat? Let mom cook for you."

"Ehm .. pecel, Mom.

"It turns out that food was still your favorite food. Yeah, I made it first, but promise, you'll have to eat it."

"Yes, Mom."

My mother moved out of my room and into the kitchen.

I waited a long time, but my mother never came back. Drowsiness suddenly attacked me. I lay my body on the bed. I slowly closed my eyes until I was in a large garden. There a man I knew smiled as he waved his hand at me. I walked up to him too. Yes, that man was Gibran who almost became my priest, but God loved him more.

"Assalamu'alaikum," he said.

"Vaalaikumsalam. Why did you leave? Where's your promise to make me and Lyra happy?"

Gibran reviewed the smile.

"You need not worry, God has prepared my successor. He can make you and Lyra happy."

"Whatchu mean? Who's the man who replaced you?" my many.

"The man is not far from you, even close enough to you."

"Who?"

"You already know the answer."

Slowly Gibran moved away from me until he completely disappeared."

"Gibrans! Waitaminute! Gibran!" my yelling.

I was shocked when suddenly someone shook my body.

"Zura's! Wake up, son," said the mother. "Why are you screaming like that?"

"It's okay, Mom."

"The pecel you asked me to make. You eat first."

"Okay, Mom, thank you."

"Yes, you're sleepy, go to the room first."

My mother also left my room.

What exactly does that dream mean? Who is the man Gibran meant? Wasn't it other than her, the man close to me was just her sister, Keenan? Is it possible that he's the one? This dream is just my sleeping flower or is it just a clue?
