My madam, my poison

My madam, my poison
Unexpected

Time shows at half ten in the night. The drizzle that came down from an hour ago made the air feel a little cold. I just finished the stitching of my customer's order: a couple's sarimbit and another pair for boys and girls.

"The doors and windows are all locked, Fin?" I asked Fina who had just finished helping me clean the room from the remnants of the pieces of cloth that were scattered under the sewing table.

"Already, Mom," he answered.

"Let's take a break."

Fina stepped into the room that mom had once occupied. Just turning the doorknob, I was startled by a loud noise from the front.

"Astaghfirullahaldzim! What's that sound?" muttered.

"You're with Lyra for a second, Fin. I'm gonna check it out, "I said.

"Good, Mom." Fina who just opened the door to her room then closed it back and entered my room.

I quickly picked up the umbrella I kept in the corner of the living room, and then opened the locked door. I stepped out to check what was happening on the front page of my hostel. Apparently the loud noise came from a car that hit the gate. Suddenly panic struck me as I saw thick smoke billowing from the front of the car.

"Please! Help me!" my yelling.

The atmosphere of the road is so quiet. In this cold atmosphere maybe the hostess who entered the morning shift work chose to sleep early.

"What's up, Ma'am?"

Apparently Rahma is still awake.

"This car hit the gate. But no one has helped me yet" I replied.

"Let me call the citizens." Rahma passed from before me. Not long after he returned with several people.

"Astaghfirullahaldzim says. What's with this car?" ask one of the people.

"I don't understand, sir. I heard a loud voice from inside. When I got out, this car was like this" I replied a little nervously.

Without wasting any more time they also work together to open the door of the red sports car. The door was apparently locked from the inside. For the safety of the driver of the car, residents finally broke the car glass to get into it. After a fairly dramatic process, residents finally managed to bring out the driver of the car.

"We take it directly to the clinic," said one resident.

"Anyone knows this guy? Who will cover the medical expenses?" Other residents chimed in.

"Let me bear the cost, sir. This man's safety is more important!" my firmness.

"But how are we gonna get him there? These nights taxis are rarely passing by" said one resident.

"That's it. While I was looking for a car loan from the citizens, this man we brought into the house Mbak Azzura only. Ma'am Zura doesn't mind, does he? Once I get the car, we'll take it straight to the clinic."

"It's okay, sir. Please," I said.

The people lifted the unconscious man's body and brought him into my house. In a place where the light was bright enough, I could now see the man's face quite clearly.

"Astaghfirullahaldzim says. Isn't he, …"

"Mak Zura knows this guy?" ask Rahma.
